The Airis Lux P5000 is a high-capacity disposable vape with a unique style.

The Lux P5000 features a rechargeable 650mAh battery and can deliver 5000 puffs per device.

It comes pre-filled with 16ml of salt-based nicotine juice at either 5% (50mg) or 2% (20mg).

The P5000 utilizes a 1.2Ω mesh coil and has a protective mouthpiece cap integrated into the design.

Design & Style

The Airis Lux P5000 has an interesting design for a disposable vape.

The main body resembles several other disposables on the market, especially the popular Elfbars. 

It has the same two-toned brightly colored body, with the central part consisting of a smooth rubberized coating. Both the base and the mouthpiece of the P5000 are glossy plastic.

It has nice curved edges and is super comfortable to grip, thanks to the rubberized texture. It’s also relatively compact for a high-capacity disposable device.

The mouthpiece of the P5000 sits to one side of the device but is tall and slender enough to be perfectly comfortable for MTL vaping.

The P5000 distinguishes itself on the design front from other disposables because it has an integrated protective cap that can cover the mouthpiece.

It is just like a Zippo lighter, with the hinge on the side, and can easily be flicked open and shut in the same manner.

It might be a bit of a dividing design choice. Personally, I think it gets in the way a little, and I don’t have issues with dirt getting in my mouthpiece, even when I place my disposable in my pocket.

However, I can see the merits of having it on the device, and I’m sure those that place their disposables in bags or handbags will welcome the integrated cap.

The cap doesn’t feel flimsy and clicks into place nicely, so much so that those that like to fiddle with fidget spinners will love playing around with it.

It doesn’t get in the way while you are vaping as it sits to the side of the device, but it does make it slightly more cumbersome to use.

As for the rest of the design of the device, it’s the norm for disposables. There is the ‘Airis Lux’ branded logo printed on the front of the device, along with the flavor profile.

On the base, you have the airflow holes, the LED status light, and the USB-C port for charging.

Overall the Airis Lux P5000 has good build quality for a disposable, is comfortable to use, and at least tries to bring something new to the design format.

Performance & Verdict

The Airis Lux P5000 delivers very good performance for a disposable. 

The auto-draw trigger works perfectly on every inhale, and I didn’t notice a single stutter when testing all the devices.

The airflow is nice and smooth, sitting in the medium to tight MTL bracket. 

Equally as impressive and the highlight of these disposables for me is the flavor delivery and flavor range.

The 1.2Ω mesh coil does a good job producing flavor, with a relatively warm vape and a throat hit that’s nice and defined on most of the flavors.

Most of the flavors strike a good balance with the overall sweetness and cooling used, so they never get too overpowering but can still pack a punch.

The Mamba, Tropical Fruit, and Strawberry Banana were standout flavors for my palate. But there’s plenty of choice in the range, and all are of good quality.

The Lux P5000 device itself is comfortable to use and has good build quality. As I mentioned previously, I’m not a massive fan of the protective cap design. But at least it serves a purpose that some will definitely find useful.

I’m pleased to say that with all the flavors I managed to devour, I achieved close to the 5000 puffs advertised from the 16ml of pre-filled juice. 

The 850mAh battery does a good job of lasting. I’m unsure about the charge times, as I would typically put one on charge and leave it as I tested a different flavor. But it’s a small enough battery so expect typical disposable charge times.

Overall I’ve been really impressed with the performance of the Airis Lux P5000 and enjoyed my time using them. There are some excellent flavors, and it delivers a great vape experience for a disposable. The only question you should ask yourself is whether you like the Zippo-style design with the protective cap.
