The Breezy by Kind Pen is a 510 thread vape designed for oil carts.

It’s a compact and lightweight device (only weighs 50g) that feels great in the hand or in your pocket.

The Breezy features four voltage settings between 2.8 to 4.0 volts, indicated by four LED bars. It also has a pre-heat mode to gently warm up your oil before vaping.

It is compatible with most vape oil carts and utilizes a magnetic connection via its adapters for both 0.5 and 1.0 mL cartridges.

The Breezy by Kind Pen is available in 9 colors: Gold, Iridescent, Orange, Silver, Black, Blue, Green, Purple, Red.

Design & Style

The Breezy vape pen by the Kind Pen company is an incredibly ergonomic and compact device.

It has a flask-like form factor, where it’s wider at one end then curves along the middle. This leads to it being incredibly comfortable to hold in the hand and really easy to conceal in the palm.

This form factor also lends itself well to being a versatile firing device. The Breezy’s fire button is located on the top thinner edge of the device and sits within a groove. It’s easy to find without looking and can be a finger or thumb fire in either hand.

I found that just squeezing the Breezy tightly while it was in my grip was perfect for firing it. The button is responsive and clicky and has an LED light to show when activated.

As for the rest of the design on the device, It’s quite a simple affair. There’s an open chamber on the larger end that you place your atomizer or cartridges into. It’s not a 510 connection, it’s actually magnetic, and you get 2 magnetic adapters to connect your 510 threaded atomizers to (more on this later).

Adjacent to the chamber on the top of the Breezy is a small panel that houses the 4 LED lights used to show both battery status and voltage/temperature setting you have activated. It’s an excellent use of the real estate on the device and helps to keep it so compact.

On the base of the device is the micro-USB port for charging. It’s a shame it’s not a USB Type-C port, and I know having it on the base keeps the device clean looking, but you will need to be careful not to place it down on a wet surface.

The Breezy houses an in-built 500mAh battery, which sounds relatively small, but it’s definitely more than enough for this style of oil vaporizer.

This small internal battery also means the Breezy is incredibly lightweight, and you barely notice you are carrying it in a pocket.

Despite the device’s lightweight and compact form factor, it’s actually well constructed and does not feel cheap. It’s got good build quality and definitely a step up from the Mist by Kind Pen that we recently reviewed.

Features

The Breezy oil vape pen has an internal 500mAh battery, which can be charged via the Micro-USB port.

It’s an extremely simple-to-use device, and while it’s not flush with features, it does have pre-heat and adjustable temperature settings.

The Breezy features adjustable Voltage with four different temperature settings 2.8v, 3.2v, 3.6v, 4.0v. This is a step up from the Mist by Kind Pen that we also recently reviewed.

The optimal setting for best performance will depend on the viscosity and type of oil you’re using.

There is a convenient battery life indicator on the top of the Breezy, which also acts as the temp setting indicator. It’s four LEDs that go up in size as they move along.

The Breezy has a single-button interface to turn on/off the device, activate the pre-heat function, and cycle through different voltage settings.

To use the Breezy:

1. Screw your cartridge onto a magnetic adapter then it snaps into place when dropped into the cartridge chamber.
2. Hit the fire button five times to turn it on/off.
3. Activate the pre-heat function by pressing the power button twice (optional) 
4. Select Voltage by pressing the power button three times.
5. Hold the power button down to vape.

Preheat Function: This helps calibrate your oil/wax to the right temperature to get the most from your hits. To activate it, press the power button twice.

Voltage Settings: Press the fire button three times to cycle through different voltages – 2.8v, 3.2v, 3.6v, & 4.0v.

Magnetic Threaded Adapters

The Breezy doesn’t come with a tank in the kit but can be used with any 0.5ml or 1ml oil carts and 510 threaded atomizers.

There are two magnetic adapters included in the kit, so you can screw your 510 atomizers to them, and then it will magnetically connect when dropped into the cartridge chamber.

The connection is nice and secure, with very minimal wobble. It’s also good to see that the cartridge is covered in the chamber with just the mouthpiece/drip tip protruding, which keeps the Breezy compact and stealthy.

It’s also effortless to pull the cartridge/atomizer out to check your oil level. Overall the magnetic connections work far better than expected.

Performance

I was really impressed with the performance of the Breezy by Kind Pen.

It has all the features it needs for this style of oil vape and delivers a great vape experience in such a small package.

The pre-heat function works great on the Breezy. Two quick clicks of the fire button, and before you know it, your viscous oil is at the perfect temp to start enjoying.

The 4 different voltage/temperature settings worked well, especially compared to standard oil vapes that typically only have three voltage settings. There was a definite difference in each setting, and cranking it up to 4V can give you a harsher denser vapor. Personally, I like to keep it nice and mild in one of the middle settings.

Obviously, the vapor quality you get will be down to the cartridge/atomizer you are using and the quality of your CBD oil.

I did most of my testing with the ceramic wickless tank that came with the Kind Pen’s Mist device, and it also works great within the Breezy.

However, I’ve also tested the Breezy with other cartridges, including a few delta 8 carts, and had no issues with compatibility or connection with the magnetic adapters.

The internal 500mAh battery also does a good job of seeing you through a session, and I made it through most days without needing a charge. Even if you need to, there’s passthrough charging, so you can still vape while topping up.

To sum it up, the Breezy is durable, easy to use, comfortable in the hand, and is just a solid little oil vape.

Verdict

The Breezy is a lightweight, functional and durable oil vaporizer.

Its stealthy form factor makes it perfectly concealable in the palm of your hand or in your pocket.

It heats up fast and has 4 different voltage settings that help you customize your vape session.

The Breezy can work with almost all vape oil carts, and the magnetic adapters function perfectly.
