Digiflavor & TVC Drop Solo RDA Intro
Single-battery squonk mods are becoming a more attractive choice for the daily driver. Who wants a dual battery juice sucker that’s competing with your mobile for space in that pocket.
Single batteries mean less power and one less coil means lower power requirements, which in turn means more run-time for your mod. Single-coil editions of best-selling dual-coil RDAs are now starting to show up. Devices like the Dead Rabbit and the Nudge have both dropped a coil.
Now Digiflavor and The Vapor Chronicles have teamed up to create the Drop Solo, a single-coil RDA based on the original Drop RDA. The first Drop was at the top of many reviewers best RDA lists, and although it was possible to build with a single-coil, its design had a sweet spot for dual-coil builds.
What Is it?
We know its a 22mm single-coil RDA. Brian, aka The Vapor Chronicles, has posted some teasers of the Drop Solo, but not much more information is known at the moment. Although we do know it will have two top caps and a beauty ring. The “normal” top cap giving it a smaller look that the original Drop, while the low profile PMMA top cap eliminates the top airflow row and comes with airflow adjustability.
Who is it for?
Single-coil dripper fans or squonkers who want great build quality and excellent flavor.

Our Vibe
Digiflavor and The Vapor Chronicles have been reasonably quiet on the release of the Solo, the odd picture from both and the announcement the Drop Solo RDA will get its launch video on TVC’s channel at some point in the next two weeks.
Single-coil fans and supporters of the original drop will both be waiting to see if the Solo is as good as the original Drop Solo RDA.
