Design & Style

The Tik10 is such a petite vape battery. I almost couldn’t believe how small it was when I removed it from the packaging.

It fits perfectly in the palm of your hand, and follows the same curved form factor of many of its larger vape mod contemporaries.

The whole body of the Tik10 is made of plastic which means it’s incredibly lightweight; your 510 atomizers may even weigh more than it. While it’s not the most premium-feeling device, the plastic is good quality and doesn’t make it feel cheap.

DotEco has done a good job of making a rather simple small vape battery look fun and appealing. The vibrant colors of the Tik10, contrasted against the white sections, really stand out. The two we have in for review (Pink & Yellow) jump out at you. While it might not be to everyone’s taste, I like that they look different from other 510 batteries on the market.

The modern looks are not all the Tik10 has going for it. It also features a USB Type-C port for charging. The amount of 510 batteries that still use micro-USB drives me crazy, so that’s a good plus. The charge port is located on the base of the device.

The fire button on the front of the Tik10 is slightly protruding and has a nice responsive click. Beneath the fire button is 4 LED lights.

These LEDs are different colors that help to show the device’s power level and your current battery status, which will be covered in more detail later.

On the top of the device is the 510 thread, which is spring-loaded. It has a decent spring, and I’ve had no issues connecting any type of 510 oil or CBD cart/atomizer to it.

The Tik10 also has a lanyard loop on the back portion of the device, and a small lanyard is included in the pack.

Overall the Tik10 is a simple vape battery with no flashy gimmicks, but it looks fun and modern.

The DotEco Tik10 has a built-in 400mAh battery that can charge in 45 minutes via USB Type C.

It also comes with adjustable voltage, of which 4 different power levels are: 4.2V, 3.7V, 3.2V, and 2.7V.

The LED lights indicate the current power setting:

2.7V = Green (Bottom light)

3.2V = Blue (second light)

3.7V = Yellow (third light)

4.2V = Red (top light)

Operating the Tik10 is very easy, and it’s all done through the one button:

• 5 clicks = on/off
• 3 (rapid) clicks = changes voltage setting
• 2 clicks = Pre-heat mode – indicator light will gradually change color. To end pre-heat, click the button once.

The Tik10 has all the safety protection you’d expect from a 510 vape battery.

Short circuit protection – light will flash 3 times

Cut-off protection – vape time is 10s, it will auto-cut off, and the light will blink 5 times.

Low power protection – when load voltage is lower than 2.8V, the low voltage protection will turn on. This is shown as low power; all 4 lights will flash 10 times, and the device will stop working.

Performance

The DotEco Tik10 is such a simple and straightforward vape battery that there’s not much to cover in terms of performance.

There’s nothing here to wow you, but everything it set’s out to do, it does well.

Firstly the 400mAh battery lasts as long as you’d expect and is more than ample enough for use with oil or CBD carts/atomizers. I love that it is USB-C charging, and the charge time is really good at 40 minutes, which means you are very rarely caught short.

Each voltage setting seems to deliver the set amount of voltage. It’s definitely noticeable when switching up from 2.7V; you will notice the increase in power.

Obviously, it depends on the 510 atomizers you are using, but my personal preference was to keep it at 3.2V. This gave me a happy medium of a strong hit while not being too detrimental to battery life.

The Pre-heat setting also works exactly as advertised and is easy to activate. Whenever I started using the device after it had been sitting for a while, I always activated the pre-heat.

The spring-loaded 510 thread on the Tik10 has no issues with connection and was compatible with everything I threw on it.

My favorite thing about this little vape battery is that it’s so small and cute. I also love the colors, and I’m not ashamed to say I’ve been rocking the pink device most of the time.

Verdict

The DotEco Tik10 is not the type of device that will revolutionize your vaping.

However, what it will do is deliver a solid vape experience in an incredibly affordable package. It will also do it with a little style, with such a compact and modern-looking design.
