Eleaf Pico Squeeze with Coral RDA Kit
Eleaf’s first attempt at a squonk mod comes in the shape of the Pico Squeeze, paired with the Coral RDA.
- Great compact size
- As good as expensive mech squonkers
- Simple chipset with safety features
- Extremely affordable
The Pico Squeeze mod obviously shares some design similarities with the rest of the Pico family, one of which being it is a single 18650 battery device. However the Pico Squeeze has a somewhat simplified setup compared to its siblings, instead of featuring a full controllable board, the Squeeze offers a more primary feature set, basically its a mechanical squonker but with a few added safety features.
The Pico squeeze contains a 6.5ml capacity squonk bottle to feed your atomizer. There is the optional extra of having the Coral RDA included, which is a two post RDA. It has a removable build deck and large adjustable airflow.
Eleaf has set out to make a small and straightforward squonking unit to try and appeal to all sections of the market. But can the Pico squeeze really provide a low-cost squonking experience with premium performance?
Let’s take a look at what the Eleaf Pico Squeeze with Coral RDA kit has to offer.

The Pico Squeeze, comes in a variety of colors; black, white, silver, grey and even hot pink. The finish just like the original Pico has a premium look and feel to it. It fits comfortably in your hand, and the front/side orientated squonk bottle and power button are perfectly positioned for use.
On the side of the device is the USB port for charging the device, there is also an LED battery indicator to display battery level. At 60%-100% battery level the LED stays lit, then at 30-59% the LED will flash slowly, 10%-29% it flashes at a moderate pace, and finally at 0-9%, it will blink rapidly to alert you. It is the usual Pico affair to change the battery, just twist off the designated top battery cap for quick access, a nice simple solution and one that’s been copied by other manufacturers since.
The squonking system on the Pico Squeeze is similar to the Kanger Dripbox – even the bottles look extremely similar. They have not tried to over complicate things and reinvent the wheel, but stuck with a tried and tested simple solution. At the base of the device is a magnetic cap, which you can pop off to access the 6.5ml Squeeze or squonk bottle. To refill the bottle, simply pull the bottle out, refill it and pop it back in and you are good to go.
If you purchase the full kit, you’ll also get the Coral RDA. This is a two post atomizer with adjustable airflow. The Coral RDA can also be stripped down completely as, it features a removable build deck, which makes it easier to maintain and possibly build on also. It’s not the greatest looking RDA, but it does go together well with the squonk mod.
Overall, the Pico Squeeze is incredibly lightweight; even with a full bottle of juice, battery, and atomiser on top. It’s undoubtedly pocketable and has the best form factor of any squonker I’ve experienced so far.
The Pico Squeeze is an extremely simple to use device, and as per Eleaf’s designated design, it does make squonking accessible to everyone. It is a 50W mod that essentially performs just like a fully mechanical squonker, with output power determined by the resistance of your build and how much battery voltage is left. However, there are some safety features built in, unlike a fully mechanical squonk mod; there is a ten second cut off, short circuit protection, no atomiser protection, low battery voltage and of course the battery level indicator.
As for battery life, which is obviously dependant on your coil resistance, the Squeeze was in line with what I’d expect from a mechanical squonk mod, and in everyday use, I found it hit just as hard as well, so no complaints there.
The Coral RDA came with two pre-built 0.25ohm Clapton coils designed specifically for the Coral RDA. The Coral isn’t the easiest deck to build on; I found it a little bit of a fiddly to install the Clapton coils and get both coil legs through a single hole while maintaining good alignment with the airflow. As for the vape experience, it wasn’t much to write home about with these coils; there was plenty of vapor just very little flavor. So tried a couple of different builds with SS316L but again it really lacked.
It was a completely different story, however, when I decided to ditch the Coral and try out my GeekVape Peerless with its bottom feed pin. The vape experience was excellent, and the Pico Squeeze really started to show its true colors. It is a fantastic little squonk mod and par with any mechanical squonk mod I’ve tried. Personally, I’d definitely advise using a third party atomizer with it to get the best performance.
- Clean Design Aesthetic
- Compact Size
- Great Ergonomics (many ways to squonk)
- Simple Chipset that works
- Decent Battery Life
- Includes 2 Squonk Bottles
- 5 Colors (Black, White, Grey, Silver & Pink)
- Squonk Bottles shows wear easily
- Limited to 50W
- The flavor production from the Coral RDA was disappointing
I’m no squonking guru, but I have tried my fair share of devices, and I have to say I was extremely impressed with the Pico Squeeze mod.
It has a brilliant compact form factor, is incredibly affordable and above all else performs amazingly. Actually, I found it to be on par with some of the high-end mechanical squonkers that I’ve previously tried, plus it has those extra safety features.
If you are in the market for a new squonk mod or are just tempted to give squonking a try; you really can’t go wrong with the Eleaf Pico Squeeze mod. My advice is to forget about the Coral RDA, just go for the mod unless you have a great price for both. There are far better bottom fed atomizers on the market that will do this amazing little squonker more justice.
