Geek Vape Blitzen RTA | Preview

Geek Vape is getting into the Christmas spirit by naming their latest RTA after one of the eight reindeer Santa uses to pull his sleigh through the night sky. Which one did they choose? Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, luckily they decided on Blitzen.

The Blitzen by Geek Vape is a 24mm RTA designed for maximum vapor and flavor production in a leak-resistant way. It features an 18mm postless build deck for more convenient coil building and is suitable for both single and dual coils.

Geek Vape labels it as having ‘the ultimate side airflow’ which comes in the fashion of honeycomb inlets similar to that of Steam Crave’s aromamizer line, which aims to provide smooth airflow and outstanding flavor.

The Blitzen comes in either a 2ml or 5ml setup, by using either it’s straight glass or bubble tank configuration along with a chimney extender. The Blitzen uses an 810 style drip tip, but also comes with a 510 drip tip and drip tip adapter.

The Blitzen RTA is available in either Stainless Steel, Black, Gunmetal, Blue or Rainbow colors – all sporting a printed Blitzen reindeer logo.

This RTA looks like it’s aimed at fans of Geek Vape who are looking for a side flow 24mm RTA similar to the Aromamizer RTA’s by Steam Crave.

I’m really not sure what goes through the minds of the teams naming these tanks….but I guess thank god they didn’t call it ‘Rudolph!’

Names and festivities aside, it does seem like Geek Vape are trying to smother the RTA market with release after release of different style RTA’s. That’s not necessarily a bad thing as they do create some unique and extremely popular atomizers, which always have great build quality.

However, with the Blitzen, it appears they have taken inspiration from the style of Steam Crave’s Aromamizers, but we will have to wait and see if it performs just as good, and just how smooth and flavorful that side airflow actually is.

Sorry Geek Vape….but I think the jury is out on this festive RTA.
