Design & Build Quality
Alright, let’s talk style and build, because the Geek Bar Pulse X is a sight to behold.
While you could say the Pulse X is a slight upgrade from the original Pulse. Prefer to view it as a more futuristic and refined design.
Firstly it’s a far more rounded and ergonomic design. And man, I love those curves. It’s just sits so nice in the hand.
The Pulse X measures 91mm tall, 57mm wide, and 29mm thick. That does mean it’s a tiny bit chunkier than its predecessor. But don’t let that fool you—thanks to that curvy figure, it’s still incredibly pocket-friendly.
Now we’ve got to talk about what Geek Bar market is as its standout feature. That mind-blowing 3D curved LED screen.

The display is not just slapped on the front like most vapes; this beauty wraps around the device, giving you a 180-degree view. It’s seriously like holding a vape from the future.
You have the main front face that shows all your vaping stats. Then, around the sides, you have what Geek Bar calls the ‘starry display’, and it all melds into one.
So when you take a draw, the whole display activates into a galactic light show.
There’s a different animation for each firing mode. You get glistening stars in the Regular Mode. And in Pulse Mode lines appear to form form a constellation with the stars.
The design is the same on all the devices (irrelevant of the flavor).

Some might find it a bit OTT for a disposable, after all it’s just flashing lights. But I love it and all its starry flashiness.
Geek Bar hasn’t skimped on the materials of the Pulse X either.
The body is crafted from hard plastic with a metallic finish that feels more premium than the original Pulse.
It’s resistant to fingerprints and seems to be able to survive a drop or two—though I wouldn’t recommend testing that theory.

Up top, you’ll find a chicklet-style mouthpiece that’s a marked improvement over the Pulse. It’s chew-friendly with a rubbery coating, perfect for those of us who tend to gnaw on our vapes when deep in thought.
The bottom of the device houses the three-way mode switch and integrated airflow control (just like on the original Pulse). It’s a clever design that keeps all the controls in one place.
And let’s not forget the USB-C charging port. It’s discreetly placed at the bottom, maintaining the device’s smooth lines while offering fast 1.5A charging.

Overall, the Pulse X takes everything that was good about the original Pulse’s design and cranks it up to ‘stars’.
It’s a premium-feeling device that wouldn’t look out of place alongside high-end mod kits. Geek Bar has truly outdone itself in the design department this time around.
Flavors

Watermelon Ice
This one’s a summer classic done right. The watermelon flavor is spot-on, delivering a juicy, authentic taste that’s not overly sweet. The ice element adds a refreshing kick, making it perfect for those hot days when you need a cool vape. It’s a straightforward flavor that doesn’t try to be fancy, and that’s exactly why it works so well.

Blackberry B-Pop
Here’s where Geek Bar gets creative. They’ve managed to blend the nostalgic sweetness of bubblegum with the rich, tart notes of fresh blackberries. The result is surprisingly harmonious, with the candy base complementing the fruit rather than overpowering it. It’s a unique vape that’ll keep you coming back for more.

Banana Taffy Freeze
This flavor is a real curveball, in the best way possible. The banana taste is authentic, reminiscent of those banana-shaped taffy candies from childhood. The addition of the ‘freeze’ element gives it an unexpected but welcome coolness. It’s a complex flavor that somehow manages to be both familiar and innovative.

Sour Apple Ice
This flavor is a real curveball, in the best way possible. The banana taste is authentic, reminiscent of those banana-shaped taffy candies from childhood. The addition of the ‘freeze’ element gives it an unexpected but welcome coolness. It’s a complex flavor that somehow manages to be both familiar and innovative.

Sour Fcuking Fab
This flavor takes Geek Bar’s popular sweet tropical blend and cranks up the tanginess. The result is a vibrant, mouth-watering vape that dances between sweet and sour. It’s bold, it’s in-your-face, and it’s definitely not for the faint of heart. If you like your vapes to pack a flavor punch, this one’s for you.

Blue Razz Ice
Nostalgia in a vape, that’s what this flavor delivers. It perfectly captures that artificial blue raspberry taste we all know from slushies and candies. The ice element adds a cool finish that enhances the overall experience. It’s sweet, it’s tangy, and it’s unapologetically fun.

Raspberry Peach Lime
This flavor is a perfect harmony of sweet and tart. The raspberry provides a bold, fruity base, while the peach adds a soft sweetness. The lime cuts through with a zesty finish, creating a well-rounded vape. It’s like a sophisticated fruit cocktail that keeps your taste buds guessing.

Lime Berry Orange
Geek Bar has crafted a complex fruit medley with this one. The citrus notes of lime and orange provide a tangy backdrop, while the mixed berries add depth and sweetness. Each puff reveals different nuances, making it an intriguing all-day vape. It’s refreshing without being overpowering.

Orange Fcuking Fab
This flavor takes the tropical candy base that Geek Bar is known for and infuses it with a burst of juicy orange. The result is a vibrant, citrusy vape with an underlying sweetness. It’s like biting into a piece of orange-flavored candy on a tropical beach. A great choice for those who enjoy fruity flavors with a candy twist.

Miami Mint
Here’s a flavor that lives up to its name. The mint is crisp and cool, reminiscent of a mojito, but with an unexpected sour twist. It’s refreshing without being overpowering, making it a great palate cleanser. Perfect for menthol lovers who want something a little different.

Blue Rancher
Geek Bar has managed to capture the essence of those beloved blue raspberry hard candies in this flavor. It’s sweet, it’s tangy, and it’s got that distinct artificial blue raspberry taste that we all secretly love. The flavor is consistent from inhale to exhale, making it a reliable all-day vape for candy lovers.

Grapefruit Refresher
This flavor is a zesty surprise. The grapefruit taste is authentic, capturing both the sweetness and the slight bitterness of the fruit. It’s got a bright, citrusy profile that’s perfect for waking up your taste buds. The ‘refresher’ part of the name is spot on – it’s invigorating and palate-cleansing.

Sour Mango Pineapple
Geek Bar has created a tropical paradise with a twist in this flavor. The sweetness of ripe mango blends seamlessly with the tanginess of pineapple, while a sour kick adds an exciting dimension. It’s like a exotic fruit salad with a sprinkle of sour powder. A great choice for those who like their fruity vapes with a bit of complexity.

Performance
Right, let’s get down to brass tacks – how does this futuristic-looking disposable actually vape?
Well, folks, I’m pleased to report that the Geek Bar Pulse X isn’t just a pretty face.
If you enjoyed the original Pulse (which we very much did – check out our review here). Then you are going to absolutely love the Pulse X.
First off, let’s talk about that draw.
Just like with the original Pulse, there’s no designated adjustable airflow. The airflow does change as you switch between regular and Pulse mode.
In regular mode, you get a medium MTL draw, and in Pulse mode, it’s a loose MTL/RDL.

However, I noticed the airflow felt a lot smoother on the Pulse X in both modes.
To be honest, I don’t miss having adjustable airflow. I think Geek Bar has it spot on for both modes. But if you like a little more control or an incredibly tight draw, then you best look elsewhere.
The auto draw on the Pulse X is also incredibly responsive and consistent – there’s no sign of misfires or stuttering.
Flavor production is fantastic in both modes. It’s a slight notch up from the previous Pulse.
Regular mode delivers solid flavor with decent vapor production. But as soon as you flip it into Pulse Mode, everything cranks up to 11. The flavor intensity ramps up. The vapor gets warmer and denser.

The flavor range from Geek Bar has also improved. It’s more varied and creative, and the Pulse X is all the better for it.
Flavor reproduction is top-notch across the board. Whether you’re vaping a simple fruit or a complex cocktail, the Pulse X’s dual mesh coil setup delivers every nuance.
I personally loved switching between the simple ‘Watermelon Ice’ and the out-there ‘Banana Taffy Freeze’. Both were absolutely delicious.
Battery life on the Pulse X is solid. That 820mAh battery kept me going all day without the need for a charge.

And when you do need to juice up, the USB-C 1.5 A fast charging is great. You get back up and running in around 35 minutes – which is impressive.
The 3D curved screen doesn’t add any functionality over that of the regular Pulse. But it’s a nice bit of eye candy that makes me smile.
However, I think Geek Bar should’ve included a way to deactivate the “starry display”. For those who are more reserved.
One thing to note – the Pulse X is only available in 5% nicotine strength.
A few puffs in Pulse mode, and you’ll definitely feel it. It’s great for a quick nic fix, but I dialed it back to regular on my all-day vape sessions. I would love Geek Bar to release a 2% version.

Verdict
The original Geek Bar Pulse was top of our list for the Best Disposable Vape for many reasons.
So does the Pulse X trump it?
Yes, and not because of its eye-catching screen. But because it does everything the Pulse does, but just a little bit better.
It has slightly better airflow, draw, and consistency. But most importantly, it delivers slightly better flavor in both Regular and Pulse modes.
There’s also a better selection of flavors, in my opinion.
While it won’t suit everyone with its fancy display, and lack of full airflow control.
The Pulse X is, without a doubt, one of the best disposables you can buy today. Highly recommended.
