Geekbar Skyview Review

GeekBar’s back at it. Just when we thought they’d peaked with the Pulse X disposable vape, they’ve gone and dropped the Skyview. And its sibling a run for its money.

Packed with a hefty 16ml of e-liquid, the Skyview promises a whopping 25,000 puffs. That’s right, same as the Pulse X, but in a sleeker package. And get this – it’s got three power modes instead of two. Soft, Norm, and Pulse.

The Skyview’s rocking an 800mAh rechargeable battery. Sure, it’s a smidge smaller than the Pulse X’s 820mAh, but who’s counting? It’s still packing enough juice to keep you vaping all day.

The Skyview also sports a massive 1.80″ TFT center display. It’s not the wraparound style of the Pulse X, but trust me, it’s a showstopper in its own right.

The Skyview’s available in 15 flavors, all hitting you with that 5% (50mg) nicotine strength we’ve come to expect from GeekBar.

Geekbar Skyview Review

Design & Build Quality

Let’s talk aesthetics and construction, because the GeekBar Skyview is a bit of a head-turner.

While the Pulse X went for that futuristic, wraparound screen vibe, the Skyview’s taking a different approach. It’s like GeekBar decided to make a disposable that could hang with the big boys in the mod world.

First off, let’s address that whopping 1.80″ TFT center screen.

It’s not the 3D curved LED screen of the Pulse X, but man, it’s a statement piece. It dominates the front of the device, giving you all your vaping stats in crisp, clear detail.

Size-wise, we’re looking at 99.6 x 52.8 x 28mm. Yeah, it has similar dimensions to the Pulse X, but the Skyview carries it differently. It’s got a more boxy, mod-like feel to it. Less curvy, more squared off. But don’t let that fool you – it’s still pocket-friendly, just in a different way.

The body’s crafted from the same hard plastic with a metallic finish as the Pulse X, but the Skyview’s got a bit more edge to it. Literally. The corners are more defined, giving it a more serious, almost professional look. It’s like the Skyview’s the Pulse X’s older, more corporate brother.

Up top, we’ve got a similar chicklet-style mouthpiece to the Pulse X. It’s comfortable, chew-resistant, and feels natural whether you’re MTL or RDL vaping. No complaints here.

Now, here’s where things get interesting. The Skyview’s got a bottom adjustable airflow switch. However, unlike the Pulse X (where the airflow changes with the mode), the Skyview gives you full control.

Geekbar Skyview USB Port

It’s a small touch, but it was always the one negative I had against the Pulse.

The separate mode button is also found on the device’s base. One click cycles through Soft, Norm, and Pulse modes (which is one more than the Pulse X).

  • Soft = 12W
  • Norm = 18W
  • Pulse = 25W

It’s simple, efficient, and user-friendly. However, it doesn’t have a power off mode like the Pulse X.

Holding down the mode button performs what I can only describe as a reset or reboot of the device.

Geekbar Skyview

The USB-C charging port is still discreetly tucked away at the bottom, keeping those clean lines intact.

Fast charging? Check. Just like the Pulse X, you’ll be back up and running in no time. Only 20 minutes of charging can get you from 0-80%.

It does take 45 minutes for a full charge. But you get passthrough, so can still vape while it’s charging.

Overall, the Skyview feels like GeekBar’s attempt to bridge the gap between disposables and full-fledged mods.

It’s got a more serious, almost premium feel compared to the flashy, party-vibe of the Pulse X. It’s like GeekBar grew up a bit, but still knows how to have fun.

Geekbar Skyview

Is it better than the Pulse X? That’s gonna come down to personal preference.

If you want something that screams “look at me,” stick with the Pulse X. But if you want a disposable that could easily be mistaken for a high-end mod, the Skyview’s your jam.

Either way, GeekBar’s showing us they’ve got range, and I’m all for it.

Geekbar Skyview Flavors

Flavors

GeekBar’s thrown 15 flavors our way with the Skyview, and I’ve put them all through their paces. Let’s break ’em down:

Strawberry Banana

Classic combo done right. It’s like biting into a fresh strawberry and a perfectly ripe banana at the same time. Smooth, creamy, and fruity – it’s a no-brainer for fruit lovers.

Miami Mint

Menthol fans, this one’s for you. It’s crisp, cool, and straightforward. No fancy frills, just a solid menthol that’ll wake up your taste buds.

Blue Razz Ice

Remember those blue raspberry slushies from your childhood? This is that, with a kick of menthol. Sweet, tangy, and refreshing – it’s a nostalgia trip with a cool twist.

Triple Berry

Berry lovers, rejoice! Strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries all in one vape. It’s like GeekBar liquefied a handful of fresh berries and bottled it up.

Sour Apple Ice

Pucker up, folks. This one’s got that crisp, tart green apple flavor that’ll make your mouth water, followed by a cool menthol finish. It’s like biting into a Granny Smith in the dead of winter.

Strawberry Watermelon Coconut

Tropical vibes in a vape, anyone? Sweet strawberries and juicy watermelon lead the charge, with creamy coconut rounding it out. It’s like a beachside fruit salad in vapor form.

Sour Watermelon Blue Razz

This one’s a flavor rollercoaster. Juicy watermelon, tangy blue raspberry, and a sour kick that’ll keep your taste buds guessing. If you like your fruit flavors with attitude, this one’s for you.

Sky Walker

GeekBar’s being all mysterious with this one. It’s a blend of sweet and fruity flavors that’s hard to pin down. If you’re the type who likes a flavor adventure, strap in and give this a go.

Strawberry Ice

Simple but effective. Juicy strawberry flavor with a menthol kick that’ll cool you right down. It’s straightforward, but sometimes that’s exactly what you need.

Blueberry Fcuking Fab

The name doesn’t lie, folks. This isn’t your average blueberry vape. It’s bold, it’s complex, and it’s got some mystery fruits playing backup. Blueberry fans, this one’s a must-try.

Peach Blue Slushy

Ever had a peach and blueberry slushy? No? Well, now you can vape one. It’s sweet, it’s icy, and it’s got that slushy vibe that’ll have you looking for a spoon.

Peach Raspberry

Another classic fruit combo that GeekBar’s nailed. Juicy peaches and sweet raspberries playing nice together. It’s simple, it’s satisfying, and it just works.

Twisted B-Pop

This one’s a flavor party. It’s fruity, it’s minty, and it’s got enough going on to keep you interested. If you like your vapes with a bit of everything, give this a shot.

Cherry Strazz

Cherry and strawberry teaming up to deliver a sweet and tangy punch. It’s bold, it’s fruity, and it’s got just enough tartness to keep things interesting.

Now, here’s the kicker – every single one of these flavors is solid. Even the Cherry Lemon Mint, which wasn’t my personal favorite, is more about preference than poor execution.

The dual mesh coil in the Skyview is doing some heavy lifting here, making sure you’re tasting every note of these complex flavors.

Is it better than the Pulse X flavors? That’s like asking me to pick a favorite child. But I will say this – GeekBar’s showing off their flavor chops with the Skyview, and I’m all for it.

Geekbar Skyview

Performance

So, how does this fancy-looking Skyview actually vape?

Well, I’m happy to report that GeekBar hasn’t just been playing dress-up with the Skyview. It performs as good as it looks.

First off, let’s talk about that draw.

Unlike the Pulse X, which had different airflows for different modes, the Skyview’s got a dedicated adjustable airflow switch. And let me tell you, it’s heaven-sent.

You can fine-tune your draw from a tight MTL to a loose RDL. It’s like GeekBar heard my complaints and delivered.

Geekbar Skyview

I also find the airflow on the Skyview to be a little tighter. Especially in MTL mode.

Don’t worry—it’s not tight for RDL. You can still get plenty of air. But overall, I find it more compact, if that makes sense.

The auto-draw is spot on – responsive and consistent. No misfires, no stuttering, just smooth sailing. On par with the Pulse X.

Now, let’s chat about those three power modes – Soft (12W), Norm (18W), and Pulse (25W). The Pulse X had two modes, but GeekBar’s gone and added a middle ground with the Skyview. And you know what? It works.

Soft mode is perfect for those mellow times. Giving you a smooth, cool vape.

Norm mode is your all-day vaper, balancing flavor and vapor nicely.

Geekbar Skyview

But when you flip it into Pulse mode? Hold onto your hats, because the flavor intensity goes through the roof. The vapor gets warmer, denser, and the flavors really sing.

Speaking of flavors, GeekBar continues to flex its muscles here.

Whether you’re vaping a straightforward mint or a complex fruit medley, this thing delivers every nuance.

I was particularly impressed with how it handled the more complex flavors like Sky Walker and Blueberry Fcuking Fab.

Battery life is solid. The 800mAh battery might be a hair smaller than the Pulse X’s 820mAh, but honestly, I didn’t notice a difference.

I was still getting all-day vaping without needing a charge. And when you do need to juice up, that USB-C fast charging has got your back. You’ll be back in full action in about 40-45 minutes.

The 1.80″ TFT screen is a nice touch. It’s not as flashy as the Pulse X’s wraparound display, but it’s clear, easy to read, and gives you all the info you need at a glance.

One thing to note – like the Pulse X, the Skyview is only available in 5% nicotine strength.

A few puffs in Pulse mode, and you’ll definitely feel it. It’s great for a quick nic fix, but I found myself sticking to Norm mode for all-day vaping.

I’m still holding out hope for a 2% version, GeekBar. Ball’s in your court.

Geekbar Skyview

Verdict

So, does the Skyview knock the Pulse X off its pedestal? Well, it’s a close call, but I reckon it just might for some.

The Skyview takes everything we loved about the Pulse X and adds to it.

For me, the separate adjustable airflow is a massive plus. And the three power modes are the extra cherry on top.

So, when it comes to performance, the Skyview might just have the edge.

But I can’t deny that I really love the look of the Pulse X and that fancy wraparound screen.

If you are just going to rock them in normal or pulse mode – there’s really nothing between them.

Flavor-wise, GeekBar’s hit it out of the park with both.

But if you want a little more control over the power and airflow. Then the Skyview is the better option.

Bottom line: If you want a high-capacity disposable that looks and vapes like a premium mod, then the Skyview is hard to beat. It definitely gets my stamp of approval.
