How to calculate the nicotine in any disposable
Total nicotine = nicotine strength (mg/ml) × e-liquid volume (ml). That’s it. The strength is on the box (20 mg/ml, 50 mg/ml); the volume is usually there too, or on the brand’s site.

The strengths you’ll actually see
Nicotine is labelled two ways for the same thing — a percentage on the front, mg/ml in the specs:

Quick conversion: the percentage and the mg/ml are the same number with the decimal shifted — divide mg/ml by 10 to get the percentage (50 mg/ml = 5%), or multiply the percentage by 10 for mg/ml.

Strength vs total nicotine — don’t confuse them
This trips people up constantly. Strength (mg/ml) is how hard each puff hits: the throat kick, how quickly you feel it. Total nicotine (mg per device) is how long the thing lasts you. Why do US disposables hold so much more nicotine?
Regulation — or the lack of it. The UK and EU cap nicotine at 20 mg/ml by law (the TPD/TRPR limit ); the US has no such ceiling, so American disposables routinely run 50 mg/ml. That legal gap is the whole reason a US device can hold so much more than a UK one.
Salt nicotine is what makes 50 mg/ml bearable to inhale. It’s smoother than old-school freebase, so a strength that would have you coughing your lungs up in a freebase mod goes down easily. Smoother isn’t gentler, though: you’re still inhaling every milligram, you’re just not being warned by your throat.
How much nicotine per puff?

Either way, treat it as a loose guide, not gospel. Manufacturer puff counts are lab-ideal and usually optimistic, and real puffs vary in length, so the honest version is: the per-puff dose is small, and the reason disposables deliver so much nicotine isn’t a strong hit, it’s the sheer number of puffs. Holding nicotine and absorbing it are not the same thing, though. You don’t take up all 900 mg in a device any more than you absorb every milligram in a pack of cigarettes: a lot is exhaled, and how much reaches you depends on how deeply and often you puff.
