IJOY recently released the original Capo 100, which appeared to be a resounding hit. Now they have managed to take it one step further by adding squonking capabilities in the same impressive compact form, with the new Capo Squonk 100W Box mod.
There is not an abundance of affordable regulated squonk mods on the market, let alone ones which are compact, portable and have the ability to utilize 21700 batteries.

The Joy of squonking
The IJOY CAPO Squonk opens up a whole new dimension to the squonk game. Firstly, the CAPO Squonk 100W is a regulated device, offering more safety features over standard mechanical bottom feeder devices, all in an excellent quality chassis.
Secondly, the CAPO Squonk can power up to 100W on a single battery. This is because it has the ability to run on a single 21700, and you also get one included in the kit. The included battery has 3750 mAh, which means you get close to the same battery life of dual 18650s, and these 21700’s also put out a max pulse rate of 40 amps.
The CAPO Squonker can actually use 20700 and 18650 batteries as well. We had already seen IJOY make use of 20700 batteries in their Captain and Genie, so why would they then jump on the 21700 bandwagon? Well, 21700 currently offer about 26% more mAh – which means more vaping time!
It’s impressive just how much IJOY have managed to squeeze into such a compact device. There are all the great features of the original Capo 100, and then a 9ml capacity squonk bottle! The location of the squonk bottle seems perfectly placed for ergonomics, and then there’s the nice large fire button and sleek styling of the rest of the device. IJOY have gone with an automotive-inspired finish in their CAPO line with striking yellow, blue, orange or red accents.
It seems IJOY have not just created a great looking, compact, well-powered device with great battery life, but one that is going to open up a squonking to the masses – particularly those reluctant to learn Ohms law and use mechanical devices. We think IJOY needs to be applauded for pushing the envelope once more.
