IJOY Diamond PD270 234W TC Kit Intro
IJOY have cut through the idea a box mod needs to look like a… box and gone with a variation of the face-centered cubic crystal structure called a diamond lattice… to me and you a diamond.
What Is it?
The IJOY Diamond PD270 kit includes a dual 20700 battery box mod and a 25mm diameter Captain X3S tank with a 4.2ml e-Liquid capacity.
The Diamond PD270 has an OLED display which blends into the design, a large fire button with instant fire speed and the ability to fire up to 234 watts. Its 34.5mm wide and the pin is centered which means its suitable for large (up to 33.5mm) diameter tanks.
The Diamond also support NI/TI/SS temperature control, is firmware upgradeable and has a USB charging port to charge the IJOY 20700 batteries it comes equipped with and if you need to use a 18650 there is an adaptor.
The Captain X3S tank is a slide and fill top tank with a wide bore 810 drip tip. It has a replaceable fill part gasket, adjustable bottom airflow system and comes with three coils.
It comes a variety of 12 different colors: Black, White, Blue, Rainbow, Gun Metal, Champagne Gold, Red, Pink, Purple, Green, Silver, Gold.

The Diamond is for vapers wanting a stylish looking dual mod for better battery capacity and the need for higher amps.

Our Vibe
Its great to see manufacturers think outside the box and try to come up with a great and different design. It’s not always successful, and can sometimes divide opinion. Yes… it does look like one of the Vaporesso Revenger’s, But I have to say the IJOY Diamond does look well designed with the way the screen blends into the angles on the panel.
Although they share similar styling cues the names, Revenger and Diamond do seem aimed at specific target audiences. But then IJOY have always been pretty good with tanks and coils, and you can’t ignore the Diamond having dual 20700’s.
I always cringe when a manufacturer states how it took its design cues from something you struggle to see or uses far stretched descriptions like unique or classy. Not in this case, IJOY has designed something that looks unique and classy, and there is no doubt it has the appearance of a diamond. Some of the colors show off the acute angles and keep the chic look, with others a little less subtle… and did it really need 12 different colors! I guess they do for maximum appeal.
