Design & Build Quality
At first glance, the Klypse Pro looks strikingly similar to its predecessor. Innokin’s clearly sticking to the “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” philosophy here.
Measuring in at 31.5mm x 16mm x 97mm, it’s only a smidge larger than the original Klypse. Pretty impressive considering they’ve crammed in a bigger battery, adjustable airflow, and a screen.
I’ve been playing with the sleek Black and Grey versions, which are nice. But I’ve got to say, the Green has really grown on me, it’s bit of a looker.
The finish screams premium, with a scratch-resistant coating that’s held up admirably to my less-than-gentle testing. No scratches to report after two weeks of heavy use – color me impressed.

One standout feature making a return is the magnetic dust-proof cap. It’s a neat touch, protecting your pod from pocket lint and debris. The fit is snug – maybe a tad too snug. You’ll need to give it a good push to get it on and off.
When you’re not using the cap, it attaches magnetically to the base of the device. Neat party trick: the magnets are strong enough to let you stick the Klypse Pro to metal surfaces. Not sure how useful that is, but it’s fun to show off.
The new screen is discreetly tucked away near the bottom, just under the power button. It’s basic but functional, showing wattage, battery life, and a vape timer when you’re puffing. It’s visible in all lighting conditions, which is a plus.
The Innokin logo now does double duty as a battery indicator, glowing in different colors to show charge level. It’s much brighter than the dim LED on the original Klypse – a welcome improvement.

The airflow control on the rear of the Klypse Pro works well. It has one large hole and one slightly smaller one. But it’s super smooth to slide along and stays in place, allowing you to fine-tune from MTL to RDL.
The USB-C charging port is located on the base, which I prefer to side placement, as it keeps it looking clean.
Overall, the Klypse Pro maintains the sleek, pocket-friendly design of its predecessor while adding some welcome upgrades. It feels solid in the hand, and the build quality is top-notch.

Features
The Klypse Pro comes packed with a few nifty upgrades over its predecessor. Let’s break it down:
Both the Klypse Pro and the original Klypse rock a built-in battery, but the Pro ups the ante with a beefier 1000mAh capacity (vs 700mAh in the original).
Charging is via USB-C at 5V/1A. Not the fastest, but it’ll get you from zero to hero in about an hour.

The Klypse Pro is running on Innokin’s latest chipset (though they don’t specify which one).
One of the big upgrades is variable power (from 6-25W). IT’s easy to adjust with the one simple button on the device.
- On/Off = 3 clicks of fire button
- Adjust wattage = 2 clicks of fire button
The wattage adjusts in 0.5W increments and round robins when it gets to 25W.
The Klypse Pro sports a small OLED screen, hidden until you take a puff or hit the power button. It’ll show you your current power mode, battery life, and puff duration.
However, there’s also an LED battery indicator neatly hidden behind the Innokin logo.

This makes it a little easier to quickly check your battery status, with the following:
- Green = 30-100%
- Yellow = 10-30%
- Red = 0-10%
Firing is via auto-draw, no buttons needed. Just inhale and you’re off to the races.
The adjustable airflow is a slider on the back, giving you control from a tight MTL to a restricted DL draw.
Compatibility is king here. The Klypse Pro plays nice with the full range of Klypse pods (0.6Ω, 0.8Ω, and 1.2Ω).
And of course, you’ve got all the safety features you’d expect: overcharge protection, short-circuit protection, over-discharge protection, and the works.
Pods/Coils

The Klypse Pro is compatible with the full range of Klypse pods, giving you plenty of options to tailor your vape.
You’ve got three resistances to choose from:
- 0.6Ω (recommended for 20-22W)
- 0.8Ω (recommended for 12-13W)
- 1.2Ω (recommended for 11-12W)
The kit comes with both the 0.6Ω and 0.8Ω pods, which is a nice touch. The 1.2Ω pods are available separately if you fancy an even tighter MTL draw.
All pods have a 2ml capacity to keep things TPD compliant. Sorry, cloud chasers – no 3ml option here.
These Klypse pods have been upgraded. And Innokin’s using their Mesh coil tech, promising better flavor and longer life. They’ve also implemented a 3-layer leakproof structure, which should keep your pockets juice-free.
Filling these pods is a breeze. There’s a silicon plug on the side – just pull it back, squeeze in your juice, and pop it back in place.

One thing to note: while the airflow control is on the device itself, the actual airflow intake is on the pod. So make sure your pod is seated correctly for the airflow adjustment to work as intended.
In terms of e-liquid, these pods work well with both 50/50 and 60/40 VG/PG ratios. They’re ideal for nic salts, but if you’re more of a freebase fan, stick to 6mg strength or higher for a satisfying vape.
Overall, the pod system on the Klypse Pro is versatile and user-friendly.

Performance
Alright, let’s get down to the nitty-gritty – how does this thing actually vape?
I’ve been putting the Klypse Pro through its paces for the past couple of weeks, and I’ve got to say, I’m pretty impressed.
Let’s start with the airflow. Innokin’s really nailed it here. The adjustability is smooth as silk, especially in the tighter MTL ranges. It’s a noticeable improvement over the original Klypse, and even some of Innokin’s other recent offerings.
The auto-draw activation is spot on. It’s responsive and consistent, kicking in instantly with each puff. No lag, no misfires – just smooth sailing.
Now, onto the pods. I’ve been rotating between the 0.6Ω and 0.8Ω pods that came with the kit.

The 0.8Ω pod is a solid performer for MTL vaping. Flavor production is excellent, picking up all the nuances in my favorite tobacco e-liquids. It’s great for those long, slow draws, and works well across all MTL airflow settings.
The 0.6Ω pod is where things get interesting. This bad boy delivers a warmer vape with impressive flavor and decent cloud production. It’s perfect for a restricted lung hit, but you can still get a loose MTL draw if that’s your jam.
Innokin supplied me with some 1.2Ω pods separately, and if you’re after a really tight draw, these are your go-to. They work best with the airflow nearly closed off, delivering a cool, flavor-packed vape that’s super economical on juice.
I remember in our review of the Klypse Zip and Klypse Mecha. I was a little underwhelmed with the flavor and performance of the Klypse pods.
While the new ones will not blow you away. They are far better and have now closed the gap to some of the market leaders.
As for lifespan. I was hitting the 2 week mark before performance really started to decline. Which is good.

The adjustable power on the Klypse Pro works as you’d expect. I found myself sticking to the middle of the recommended ranges for each pod. But you do notice a difference if you bump it up slightly.
Battery life is solid. With the 0.8Ω pod at medium power, I easily got through a full day of vaping. Even with the more power-hungry 0.6Ω pod, I was comfortably making it to bedtime before needing a charge.
Speaking of charging, it takes about an hour to go from empty to full. Not the fastest, but not terrible either. The color-changing Innokin logo LED makes it easy to keep an eye on your battery level.
One minor gripe – the pods can be a bit too snug in the device. It’s not a deal-breaker, but it can be a bit fiddly to swap pods on the go.

Verdict
The Innokin Klypse Pro lives up to its name, it’s the most feature-rich of all the Klypse devices.
However, most of those new features; like adjustable wattage and an OLED display, have been pretty standard on most other pod vapes.
That doesn’t take away anything from the Klypse Pro. It delivers an excellent vape experience.
While I think the upgraded pods are great. The flavor and longevity is still a little shy of the something like the Caliburn G3.
However, where I think the Klypse Pro stands out is it’s sleek design. Some are going to love it’s clean lines and magnetic cap. There’s no other pod vape quite like it.
If you’re rocking the original Klypse and are happy with the airflow and battery life, the upgrade might not be essential.
If you’re in the market for a unique, versatile, user-friendly pod system with good flavor and battery life, the Klypse Pro is a solid choice.
