The Joyetech eGo 510 pod kit is a versatile pod kit aimed to cater to both those that want a refillable pod kit, and those that want the simplicity of a disposable e-cigarette.
Joyetech and specifically the ‘eGo’ name has been in the vaping industry since its inception. Although we don’t see the eGo name as much, they have had recent success with the eGo Air.
The eGo 510 pod kit comes in two different versions, and you can easily interchange between them by changing the pod. The device is the same for both.
The device has an in-built 850mAh battery that can be charged via USB Type C at a 1A charge rate (with a 1hr charge time).
The battery is a simple one-button operated device. It also features LED indicator lights by the charge port to show the device and battery status.
The name contains ‘510’ as the device utilizes a 510 thread connection, so it is also compatible with any other 510 atomizers.
The Joyetech eGo 510 comes with 3 different pod options to be used with (two are the same just different capacities). They are as follows:
2ml refillable pod – this is a standard refillable pod system setup. The pod features a 0.8Ω mesh coil, a top fill system with a child lock, and a large airflow inlet.
2ml pre-filled pod – this is a disposable pod vape setup (aimed at the TPD regulated areas). It features a pre-filled 2ml pod with a variety of flavor options and a 0.7Ω mesh coil. Claimed to deliver up to 500 puffs.
4.5ml pre-filled pod – this is a disposable pod vape setup (outside TPD regulated areas). It features a pre-filled 4.5ml pod with a variety of flavor options and a 0.7Ω mesh coil. Claimed to deliver up to 1600 puffs.
The pre-filled pods come in 18 different flavors including Watermelon Ice, Strawberry Kiwi, Grape, Blue Raspberry, Mint, Tobacco, and many more.
The Joyetech eGo 510 pod kit is available in 5 colors: Cyan Blue, Red, Black, Lime, and White.

It’s great to see the eGo name make another appearance in the vaping market. An eGo battery was my first vape device, and I’m forever grateful it got me hooked on vaping and off the stinkies!
Joyetech likes to keep things simple and user-friendly with their vape devices, and it’s nothing different here.
I like the way they have catered to both the disposable and refillable ends of the market. I especially like the fact they have used a standard 510 thread connection – as that’s what the eGo is renowned for. It also means you can use it as a regular 510 threaded battery for other atomizers or cartridges.
That leaves the eGo 510 pod kit as somewhat of a versatile little system. I hope the mesh coils deliver good flavor and that there’s not too much discrepancy in performance between the pre-filled and refillable pods. I’m looking forward to finding out and giving this little eGo system a whirl.
