Product Description:

Lost Vape has decided to up its game with its latest disposable vape, the Orion Bar 50K.

The Orion Bar 50K is one of the first disposable vapes that let you adjust both cooling (ICE) and nicotine levels in real time. With intuitive controls, you can select from multiple nicotine strengths and cooling intensities to tailor your vaping experience.

It also comes with a 360° Infinite Galaxy Screen; this device provides real-time updates on battery life, e-liquid levels, and your current settings.

The Orion Bar 50K is powered by a 920mAh rechargeable battery and has a 28ml e-liquid capacity, delivering up to 50,000 puffs.

The Orion Bar 50K is available in 18 flavors, including Berry Blossom, Blue Pina Kiwi, Blue Razz Ice, Cool Mint, Frozen Raspberry Lemonade, Juicy Peach, Kiwi Orange, Mango POP, Orange Cake, Peach Mango Watermelon, Ruby Jelly, Sour Apple Ice, Strawnana, Watermelon Ice, and Fruity Nectar.

Design & Build Quality

Ok, we can’t start talking about the design of the Lost Vape Orion Bar 50K without talking about that screen.

I’m going to try my best to describe it to you, as the pictures don’t really do it justice.

The 360° Infinite Galaxy Screen, as you can probably tell from the name, wraps around the entire device.

On the front panel, you have the usual display with key data: battery level, juice level, and nicotine and ice setting – more on this later.

Then, wrapping around the sides and back of the device are constellations, stars, and planets. They are not visible until you take a vape on the device and then fade in and out individually to create a stream of lights.

It makes the whole thing look like it comes alive.

It’s worth mentioning that the Galaxy layout is the same on all devices. And they are not really a display in the true sense of display. They are more like colored lights behind the panel.

However, as the lights are offset from the black background they do look crisp.

Is it necessary to have a screen like this on a disposable…? Absolutely not. But I love it!

It’s just the right amount of style for me, without being too flashy. It makes you feel like you are using a disposable from the future.

But it is definitely not for stealth vaping!

Ok, I know that’s a lot of screen and display talk. But I’ve got one more thing to cover before we get into anything else.

My biggest gripe with the Orion Bar 50K and its design with the screen is that it seems to attract dust, fingerprints, and scratches like crazy.

I think that’s mainly because the whole body is just black, glossy plastic. But I’m forever wiping it down.

It doesn’t detract from its glowing looks. And I prefer that they are black and sleek looking instead of bright colors. But it’s worth mentioning.

Right, so what else does the Orion Bar 50K have to offer?

Well, it’s not all about fancy looks. On the base of the device, you have the on/off switch, which also acts as the airflow and nicotine strength setting.

When you switch it to the middle, you are in ‘Regular Mode.’ This gives you 1 airflow hole, and the nicotine level is set to ‘Low Nic.’

This is displayed on the screen with a golden nic symbol.

When you slide it all the way open, you are in ‘Strong Mode,’ which has 3 airflow holes and is now ‘High Nic’ level.

This is also displayed on the screen but with a bronze/orange nic symbol.

There’s no information as to what strength in mg the High and Low settings actually are. But from my experience they feel like High is 5%, and Low is 2%.

There is also a button on the base of the device, which is the ‘Ice Boost’ button.

When you click this button, you will get a blue ‘Ice’ symbol on the display, and your vape will have more of an icy kick to it. Click it again to switch it off.

We’ve recently seen this functionality to control both nicotine & ice levels on the OXBAR ICE-NIC Control Disposable. Lost Vape has implemented it just as well here.

Rounding off the design, you also have the USB-C port on the base for charging.

Overall, I really like the design of the Orion Bar 50K; it’s interesting and eye-catching. But what pleases me most is the functionality and control of nic and ice levels.

Flavors

The Lost Vape Orion Bar 50K is available in 18 different flavors. We have 3 to test:

Blue Razz Ice

A solid mix of sweet and tangy blue raspberry that hits you up front, then smooths out with an icy kick at the end. I’ve tried a lot of blue razz vapes, and this one nails that candy-like sweetness without being overwhelming. The ice gives it a really nice clean finish that keeps you coming back for more.

Cool Mint

If you’re after that fresh-out-of-the-packet mint experience, this is it. It’s not trying to be fancy – just delivers that crisp, clean mint hit that wakes up your taste buds. The cooling effect is spot on – not too harsh, not too subtle. Perfect for that morning vape or when you need something clean and refreshing.

Watermelon ICE

The watermelon tastes authentic – you get that natural sweetness that reminds you of biting into a fresh slice, not that artificial candy stuff. The ice element is well balanced here – it doesn’t hijack the flavor but adds a refreshing dimension. Fruity, fresh, and my favorite of the ones I’ve tested.

Performance

Let’s start with the flavor delivery of the Orion Bar 50K.

I’ve been a massive fan of the Lost Vape disposables I’ve reviewed and tested in the past, and it’s no different here when it comes to flavor production.

Everything is punchy and clean and tastes like it should be.

Thankfully, with the ‘Ice Boost’ setting off, they are not filled with too much cooling.

It definitely gives it a noticeable icy kick when you switch that mode on, and I think it’s more apparent than with the OXBAr disposable.

There’s also a very noticeable difference between the ‘Regular’ and ‘Strong’ modes.

The ‘Regular’ mode is where I like it. It feels like a typical powered disposable with a medium to tight MTL airflow. The nicotine delivery is good, and like I said, it feels like it’s around 2%…which for me is perfect.

When you crank it up to ‘Strong’ mode, it feels like the power ramps up slightly. The airflow is far more open, like a very loose MTL (not quite RDL).

However, the most noticeable difference is the after-effects of the nicotine increase. It will definitely hit you if you are not used to vaping disposables at 5%.

I also notice the ‘Ice Boost’ more when I have it switched on in this mode, which is understandable as there’s more power and air. You get a proper freeze at the back of your throat.

The 920mAh battery does a good job of lasting, especially if you mainly use it in ‘Regular Mode’ like me. I was getting through 2 days before needing a recharge.

If you have it in ‘Strong Mode,’ this will obviously be less.

It’s also worth noting that the display has a symbol for power and liquid, and the alternates between each showing the percentage remaining.

It seems accurate for the battery. It’s hard for me to tell at this stage for the liquid as it has a 28ml capacity, and I’ve been testing them for two weeks and have just got the ‘Watermelon Ice’ down to 30%.

That also brings me to the advertised 50k puff count. This would obviously be if you vaped it in regular mode all the time (which I haven’t).

While I can’t say for sure whether you’ll hit those numbers, in my experience of testing disposables, I’d say those numbers are pretty solid for the Orion Bar.

PROS

  • 360° Infinite Galaxy Screen
  • Adjustable Ice & Nicotine levels
  • Solid dual mesh coil performance
  • Responsive draw activation
  • Clear, functional display
  • Great flavor production
  • Proper MTL draw option
  • Physical on/off button
  • User-friendly controls
  • Consistent performance throughout use

CONS

  • It’s a magnet for fingerprint, dust & scratches
  • Charging time could be faster
  • No pass-through charging

Verdict

I’ve honestly loved my time testing the Lost Vape Orion Bar 50K disposables.

I know the 360° screen might seem like a pointless addition to most. But honestly, when you’ve got it in your hand, it’s pretty special and implemented in a classy way.

However, I’m more impressed with the Orion Bar’s performance. I love that you have the ability to adjust both the ‘nicotine’ and ‘ice’ levels. And it’s not a gimmick; you get a different vape with each setting.

The ‘Regular’ mode for me is as good as any disposable I’ve tried. It’s a perfect MTL draw with excellent flavor.

You could save yourself a few bucks and go for a regular disposable. But that would be boring. If you want a bit of excitement, class, and versatility from your high-capacity disposable, the Orion Bar 50K is worth it.
