Product Description

The Nevoks Feelin AR is the latest addition to Nevoks’ pod vape lineup. And it’s all about simplicity as it’s a stripped-back version of the Feelin AX.

The AR focuses on ease of use and portability. Its design is more compact than the AX’s, measuring 111 x 21 x 13.45 mm.

At its core is a 1000mAh battery, rechargeable via USB-C. The device auto-adjusts power based on the pod resistance, ranging from 9-30W.

Like its predecessor, the AR is compatible with Nevoks’ A1 refillable pods. These come in 0.4Ω, 0.6Ω, 0.8Ω, and 1.2Ω resistances.

The Feelin AR features adjustable airflow and draw-activated firing. It’s available in nine colors: Misty Blue, Mint Green, Burgundy Red, Pale Yellow, Melon Orange, Cream White, Light Lavender, Coral Pink, and Charcoal Black.

Nevoks Feelin AR Review

Design & Build Quality

The Nevoks Feelin AR is noticeably more compact than its sibling, the AX. It’s a pocket-friendly device that feels great in hand.

The AR sports a soft-touch baked finish over its aluminum alloy body. This coating provides a premium feel and excellent grip.

It’s a little less premium feeling than the AX, but the build quality still feels good.

It’s also more pocket-friendly than its sibling, with a compact design measuring 111mm x 21mm x 13.45mm

I’ve been testing the Pale Yellow version. And although it wouldn’t be my first choice of color, I’m really loving the pastel vibe.

Most of the AR colorways have similar pastel shades, and all have a clean, minimalist look.

One major design change to the Feelin AX is the lack of a screen. Instead, there’s a simple LED indicator on the front. It shows battery status in green, blue, or red.

The AR is purely draw-activated, with no buttons in sight. This contributes to its clean, streamlined appearance.

Airflow control is similar to the AX but with a slightly smaller slider on the side of the device. It’s easy to adjust, allowing fine-tuning from tight MTL to restricted DTL.

The pods connect magnetically and sit securely in the device. However, about two-thirds of the pod is hidden when installed. Which makes checking e-liquid levels a bit tricky.

Overall, the Feelin AR’s design is impressive. It’s a device that looks good – simple, clean, and feels great to use.

Nevoks Feelin AR

Features

The Nevoks Feelin AR takes a simpler approach compared to the AX. It’s all about ease of use.

The 1000mAh battery is smaller than the AX’s 1500mAh. But it still offers impressive longevity. I’ve been averaging about three days per charge (with the 0.8Ω pod).

The LED indicator is simple but effective:

  • Green: 60-100%
  • Blue: 30-60%
  • Red: 0-30%

Unlike the AX, there’s no adjustable wattage. The AR auto-sets power based on the resistance of the pod, with the following settings:

  • 0.4Ω Pod: 28W
  • 0.6Ω Pod: 22W
  • 0.8Ω Pod: 18W
  • 1.2Ω Pod: 12W
Nevoks Feelin AR

These auto-adjusted settings work well. And honestly, they are the wattage settings I’d tend to leave the AX in. So just means no need for tinkering.

The draw activation is responsive and consistent. There’s no noticeable delay or misfires.

The adjustable airflow can cover anything from a tight MTL to a restricted DTL draw.

Charging is via USB-C, but it only supports 1A charging (compared to the AX’s 2A). It takes about 80 minutes to fully charge.

While the Feelin AR might not have all the bells and whistles of the AX, its features are well-implemented.

Nevoks Feelin AR

Pods/Coils

The Feelin AR uses the same A1 pods as the AX. It’s a smart move by Nevoks that ensures compatibility and availability.

Also, they were excellent performing pods on the AX. So I’m expecting the same here.

In the box, you get a single 0.8Ω pod with a 3ml capacity. But there are more options available:

  • 0.4Ω (3ml capacity)
  • 0.6Ω (3ml capacity)
  • 0.8Ω (2ml or 3ml capacity)
  • 1.2Ω (2ml or 3ml capacity)

Note that TPD countries are limited to 2ml versions of the 0.8Ω and 1.2Ω pods.

Nevoks Feelin AR

Filling the pods is straightforward. There’s a side fill port, but you need to remove the pod to access it. The port is a good size, making filling even larger bottles easy.

The pod connection is strong and secure. There’s minimal wiggle, giving the device a solid feel.

Nevoks uses a mesh coil design with Australian cotton in these pods. They claim this provides better heat distribution and more consistent flavor.

They also boast about pod longevity, claiming over 30ml of e-juice per pod.

In my testing, these claims hold up. I’ve been using the same 0.8Ω pod for weeks with no signs of flavor drop-off – which is impressive.

The only downside with the A1 pods is e-liquid visibility. Most of the pod is hidden in the device, making it hard to check levels without removing the pod.

Overall, the A1 pods are impressive. They offer a range of options, deliver great flavor, and last a long time.

Nevoks Feelin AR USB & Airflow

Performance

After having a great time with the Feelin AX and the A1 pods, I knew the AR was going to deliver.

I wasn’t disappointed.

I managed to test the AR with all the available resistances (with various e-liquid consistencies and strengths).

I’m happy to report that the Feelin AR delivers solid performance across its range of pods.

The 0.8Ω pod that comes with the kit is a sweet spot for MTL vaping. With the airflow wide open, you get a medium MTL draw. It’s noticeably tighter than the AX, which I prefer.

Closing off the airflow gives a satisfying tight MTL hit. Flavor is top-notch, and the throat hit with nic salts is just right. It quickly became my daily driver, and I think it is the perfect match for the AR – I’m glad it’s the one Nevoks included.

The 0.6Ω pod opens things up a bit. It gives a nice RDL draw without much adjustment. The flavor is excellent, maybe even a touch better than the 0.8Ω.

The 0.6Ω, being a lower resistance, delivers more vapor. But it will take a toll on the battery more than the 0.8Ω

For cloud chasers, the 0.4Ω pod is the way to go. With airflow wide open, it’s quite airy. I preferred closing it off slightly for a sweet spot RDL hit. Vapor production is impressive for a pod system.

But I feel the 0.4Ω pod, with its larger battery, is better suited to the Feelin Ax. While it does work well on the AR, don’t expect the battery to last.

Nevoks Feelin AR

And charging speeds are a bit painful with the AR (more on this later).

The 1.2Ω pod is for old-school, tight MTL vaping. The draw is naturally tighter, and the vapor is noticeably cooler. Flavor is still good, if slightly less intense than the 0.8Ω.

The main thing that stands out about all the A1 pods is that they deliver fantastic flavor and all pair well with the AR.

The device size and battery are best suited to MTL, so the 0.8Ω was always my go-to.

I also have to note that the pod’s longevity is very impressive. Nevoks claims over 30ml per pod, and I agree. After weeks of use, there’s no flavor drop-off or burnt hits. I’m still going strong with my 0.8Ω.

The AR’s auto-draw works flawlessly. It’s responsive without being too sensitive, and there are no issues with misfires or delayed activation.

I have to admit the AR’s battery life is a pleasant surprise. Despite being smaller than the AX (1000mAh vs 1500mAh), I still get about three days of heavy use.

This was primarily using the 0.8Ω pod. Obviously, that was less with the lower resistance pods.

The one big problem I have with the battery is the 1A charging. The 80-minute charge time is manageable, especially as it holds up so well. But 2A charging like the AX would’ve been great to see.

It’s also worth noting that the auto-adjusting power works great on the AR. At no stage did I feel like I wanted to reach for the AX and adjust the wattage or crank it up. It delivers exactly what it needs.

Overall, the Feelin AR performs admirably. It might not have all the features of the AX, but what it does, it does well. Whether you want a tight MTL or a restricted DTL hit, this device delivers.

  • Compact and pocket-friendly design
  • Excellent build quality with premium finish
  • Impressive battery life (about 3 days of use)
  • Wide range of compatible A1 pods
  • Outstanding pod longevity (30ml+ per pod)
  • Adjustable airflow for MTL and restricted DTL
  • Responsive auto-draw activation
  • Excellent flavor production
  • Simple, user-friendly operation
  • Solid magnetic pod connection
  • USB-C charging

Cons

  • Slower 1A charging compared to Feelin AX (80 minutes)
  • No adjustable wattage
  • Limited information display (LED only)
  • Difficult to check e-liquid levels
Nevoks Feelin AR

Verdict

The Nevoks Feelin AR is an impressive little device. It’s a stripped-back version of the AX, focusing on simplicity and portability.

What you lose in adjustable wattage and screen display, you gain in ease of use. Sometimes, that’s exactly what you want in a pod vape.

The AR shines in MTL vaping. Its slightly tighter airflow compared to the AX makes for a more satisfying draw, especially with the 0.8Ω and 1.2Ω pods. But it can handle restricted DTL too with the 0.4Ω and 0.6Ω options.

The standout feature is the consistency and longevity of the A1 pods. They keep delivering great flavor long after you’d expect. Pair that with the impressive battery life, and you’ve got a reliable, low-maintenance vape.

It’s not perfect. The slower charging and lack of adjustable wattage might put off some users. And if you like to tinker with settings, you’d be better suited to the AX.

But for new vapers, MTL enthusiasts, or anyone after a straightforward, pocket-friendly pod system, the Feelin AR is a solid choice. It gets the basics right and does it well.
