OBS have added to the Crius family of atomizers, which includes the well-received Crius RDTA, the incredibly easy to build on dual coil Crius RDA and the single-coil RTA which was classy looking, had great taste and fantastic flavor. Has OBS united the easy to build dual-coil RDA with the great tasting single-coil RTA?
Pointless Fact: Crius was the Greek Titan God of Heavenly Constellations and was also known as a Pillar of the south pole. Crius means “Ram.”
What Is it?
OBS Crius 2 Dual Coil RTA is a 4ml rebuildable tank atomizer with 25mm diameter. A dual coil variant of the Crius II RTA. It also adopts the OBS style easy top-side refill, adjustable bottom airflow and high-tech Zirconia insulator just like the original Crius 2 RTA.
The new dual-coil version supports dual coil building for intense flavor and as OBS says violent vapor production. Due to the offset coils, there is a clamp style deck with a single screw system on top and an insulator made of zirconia.
It incorporates a juice flow control function so that you can you use different PG/VG ratio e-liquids for a better vaping experience.
The OBS Crius ll Dual Coil RTA comes in 3 colors: Black, Blue, and Silver.
Who is it for?
Anyone who wants a dual coil RTA that’s easy to fill, that has juice flow control and bottom airflow – and should be good on flavor and clouds.

Our Vibe
OBS has always been a solid manufacturer when it comes to RTA’s, and It’s refreshing to see something new and innovative from them, after seeing more or less same stuff over the last few months from other companies. Clamps aren’t my preferred method, but as the single coil variant worked surprisingly flawlessly, I’m keen to see how it works out in the dual-coil configuration.
The single screw system could make it less complicated than others when placing coils, and the use of Zirconia should ensure that there’s no risk of melting the insulator from the closeness coils. Zirconia is supposed to be hard wearing, so you’d expect it to hold up well, but only time will tell.
I love the fact that OBS has stuck to their usual top fill method, as this is one of the best on the market.
If the Crius II RTA is anything to go by then, this will be a handy addition to a rebuilders arsenal of atomizers.
