Product Description:
OXBAR’s pushing boundaries again with their ICE-NIC Control 35K. And they’re not just playing around with fancy gimmicks – they’ve brought something genuinely revolutionary to the disposable vape scene.
The ICE-NIC Control is the first disposable that allows you to adjust both your cooling/ice and nicotine levels on the fly. There’s a designated button for each, and you can toggle between three nicotine output levels and four ice settings.
The device has a large color display, a 900mAh rechargeable battery, and utilizes a dual mesh coil system.
There’s also an on/off switch that doubles as an adjustable airflow control – delivering a tight MTL to RDTL draw.
The ICE-NIC Control promises up to 35,000 puffs depending on your settings. The smart display keeps you in the loop with everything from battery life to your current ice and nic levels.
The ICE-NIC Control comes in 20 zodiac-inspired options, all loaded with e-liquid made by Pod Juice and with 5% nicotine.

Design & Build Quality
Ok, so we’ve got a bit to cover with the design of the OXBAR ICE-NIC Control.
For the most part, it looks like most high-capacity disposables in today’s market. It’s a box format with nicely curved edges with a screen on the front.
OXBAR has followed the traditional pathway of making most of the devices a two-toned gradient color, but not all of them. The colors selected attempt to match the flavor profile within (but not always). And I really can’t decide whether I like the plain-colored versions or the gradients better.
Oh, and it has a very glossy plastic finish on all the devices (a nightmare for our photos).
There’s a fair bit of printed branding going on on each device. You’ve got the OXBAR logo on the front, a sizeable flavor profile on the side, and then the Zodiac sign on the back.
Don’t ask me about the connection between the Zodiac signs and the flavors (or even vaping, for that matter). As far as I can tell, there’s none, and it’s just another weird marketing gimmick.
So far, it’s stacking up like any other disposable.

Now here’s where things get interesting. On the side of the devices, you have two buttons. One controls the ICE level, and the other the NIC – hence the name.
Each time you press one of the buttons the bar on the screen increases, and you are increasing either the nicotine or ice levels.
The ICE Button has 3 levels, but can also be at 0 or off.
The NIC is just the 3 levels (there’s no option for off or nicotine-free).
I’ll cover whether you can tell the difference in each level later. But for the moment, just be impressed that this is the first disposable (or vape) that you can control both Nicotine and Ice effects on the fly while you are vaping.
It’s pretty cool functionality.

The screen on the device is large. And is organized well to show the ICE level at the top (labeled), with the remaining capacity level (in %).
Then you have the NIC level, layed out exactly the same. Also with the remaining capacity level.
Then, finally, you have the battery level gauge. There’s no percentage here, just 6 colored bars. But it seems accurate and works well.
Speaking of battery the ICE-NIC comes with a 900mAh battery. It can be charged via the USB-C port on the base. It’s standard slow charging times here. I would’ve liked to have seen a larger battery for the device’s size, and faster charging.
The airflow control is tucked away at the bottom, doubling as an on/off switch. Smart design choice there.
You’re getting two airflow settings – a proper MTL (3 small holes) and a slightly looser draw still on the restricted DTL side (5 holes).
Overall, OXBAR’s created something that feels like a step forward in disposable design.
When you consider the OXBAR SVOPP that we recently reviewed with its removable battery. It’s like they actually sat down and thought, “What do vapers actually need?” rather than just throwing features at the wall to see what sticks.
I thought the removable battery was great, and the ICE and NIC control is equally impressive. Well done, OXBAR.

Flavors
Let’s break down these OXBAR flavors, and trust me, with Pod Juice in the mix, we’re in for some serious taste testing.

Fruity Pebz
Just like diving face-first into a bowl of your favorite childhood cereal, this one nails that sweet, fruity medley with scary accuracy. The milk note on the exhale seals the deal, making this my top pick of the bunch.

Watermelon Apple Gush
Imagine biting into a juicy watermelon that’s been infused with crisp green apple – that’s what you’re getting here. The watermelon leads the charge, while the apple adds a tart kick that keeps things interesting.

Jolly Watermelon
This isn’t your garden-variety watermelon vape – it’s got that candy twist that’ll have you thinking of those bright red lollies from your childhood. The sweetness is perfectly balanced, making it an easy all-day vape without being overwhelming.

Jewel Mighty Mint
Picture the coolest, crispest mint leaf you’ve ever tasted, then dial it up to eleven. Even with the ice setting turned off, this one’s got a natural mintiness that refreshes without feeling like you’re chewing on toothpaste.

Rocket Pop
They’ve somehow managed to capture that red, white, and blue ice pop in vapor form, complete with the nostalgic cherry top note. The subtle lemon-lime finish makes this one a summer favorite.

Strawberry Orange Pop
This one’s like a fizzy strawberry-orange soda that’s just been cracked open. The carbonation sensation is subtle but present, while the fruit combo keeps you coming back for more.

Sour Peachy O’s
Think peach rings candy with an extra kick of sourness that’ll wake up your taste buds. The sweet peachy base is spot-on, while the sour coating gives it that extra dimension that sets it apart from standard peach flavors.

Green Apple Burst
This one hits you with that crisp, tart Granny Smith apple punch right off the bat, delivering that perfect balance of sweet and sour. The burst effect gives it an extra kick on the exhale, making it a standout choice for anyone who loves their fruit flavors with some zing.

Performance
It’s all great having the ability to control your nicotine and ice levels on a disposable. But does it actually work?
The answer is yes (and maybe!).
Firstly the Ice effect is definitely noticeable as you step up each level. It goes from a light cooling effect on 1 bar to an arctic blast on 3 bars (maximum).
However, switching it off completely (0 bars) still gives you some cooling sensation. Don’t expect a complete non-ice vape. I think it’s just the nature of disposables and the juice used, there’s always a little bit of cooling incorporated.
That said, it all works far better than I expected. You really get a noticeable difference between each level. It’s awesome.

As for the Nicotine control, well, that’s a little more difficult to gauge.
Changing the Nic level from 1-3, the difference in throat hit is very minimal. That’s not to say it isn’t changing, but it’s less noticeable than the ICE control.
The only way I could tell the Nicotine was increasing was by chain vaping for a bit. Then I could really feel the effects of having the Nicotine level cranked to the max.
It was even more evident when I vaped on the device in the morning on 3 bars. Instant head rush! (I’m not a typical 5% nic vaper, so I really felt it)
Here’s my problem with the Nicotine control, or where OXBAR has missed a trick.
There’s no guidance on the actual amount of nicotine it’s delivering. This is a 5% nicotine disposable. So I’m assuming it delivers 5% on maximum. But what about when it’s on 1 or 2 bars?
All I can tell you from personal experience is that on 1 bar, it feels equivalent to a 2% nicotine disposable. At maximum, it’s 5%, so 2 bars is somewhere in between.
Important Update
Thanks to some investigative work from one of our readers Janine Gilbert. OXBAR has now given details that the 3 nicotine levels are actually 5%, 4.5% and 4%. So that is very minimal change in levels….which is very disappointing! And explains our experience with the device. Thanks Janine.

Ok, so what about the flavor production, the airflow, and the battery?
All the flavors were exactly what I expected from OXBAR (having tested many of their disposables in the past). They are accurate and punchy, even more so when the ICE is turned down.
They’ve also got some really great mixes in there. I particularly loved the Watermelon Apple Gush, and Strawberry Orange Pop.
Airflow is great. It’s super smooth in either MTL or RDTL modes.
The MTL mode is spot on for me, delivering a tight to medium draw. And there’s a noticeable difference when you open it fully. You won’t get a full DTL and massive clouds…but you’d be crazy to at 5%.
It’s also worth noting there were no misfires, stutters, or leaks.
Battery life is where I think there could be some improvement. The 900mAh lasted me through the day (but not much more). It’s also about an hour for a full recharge, which is respectable. But I’d like to see faster charging.

Oh, and there’s no passthrough charging – which is a shame.
What about the 35,000 puff claim? Look, these numbers are always optimistic. And I think in the case of the ICE-NIC, they’ve definitely been elevated.
I’ve been using one device for over a week now, and the e-liquid levels have dropped to 50%. If you’re running it in high nicotine mode constantly, expect those numbers to drop even more. It’s definitely high capacity, but falling short of that 35K, I think.
Compared to other premium disposables like the GeekBar Skyview or Pulse X, the OXBAR ICE-NIC is holding its own. The build quality feels just as solid, the flavor’s on point, and those adjustable features give it a unique edge.
One aspect where it doesn’t quite compete is the screen. It’s not as flashy and fancy. But it gets the job down and has a lot of info it needs to show you. And honestly, I’ll take the adjustable functionality over a flashy display any day of the week.

Verdict
So, does the OXBAR ICE-NIC Control 35K live up to the hype? Well, it’s not perfect, but it’s pushing the disposable game in the right direction, and that counts for something.
The star of the show here is definitely that ice control feature. Finally, a manufacturer that gets it – not everyone wants their throat frozen every time they take a hit. While the nicotine adjustment is harder to gauge, it’s definitely doing something.
The combination of Pod Juice flavors and that dual mesh coil setup delivers exactly what most vapers are after consistent, flavorful hits with a proper MTL draw option.
Bottom line? If you’re in the market for a premium disposable and don’t mind paying a bit extra for some genuine innovation, the OXBAR ICE-NIC Control 35K is worth your attention. Sure, you could save a few bucks going with a basic disposable, but the ability to fine-tune your vaping experience makes this one stand out from the crowd.
