Design & Build Quality

The first thing that hit me when I unboxed the NeXLIM GO was just how bloody light this thing is! Coming straight from testing the original NeXLIM with its premium metallic finish and hefty feel, the GO feels almost toy-like in comparison – but don’t let that fool you, because OXVA has worked some serious engineering magic here.

At 62g (with the pod), this is dramatically lighter than its premium sibling, yet it doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy. The polycarbonate construction might not have the same luxurious heft as the NeXLIM’s metal body, but it’s incredibly well-executed. The finish has this subtle texture that feels great in hand and provides excellent grip.

The dimensions tell an interesting story too. While it’s essentially the same height as the NeXLIM (119mm vs 122mm), it’s a bit slimmer and far more pocket-friendly. I’ve been carrying this around for weeks now, and it just disappears in your pocket in a way the original NeXLIM never quite managed.

OXVA has kept the same elegant curved design language, but simplified it beautifully. Gone is that stunning circular display that I absolutely loved on the NeXLIM, replaced by a simple tri-color LED battery indicator on the front. Initially, I thought I’d miss the screen, but honestly? The simplicity is refreshing. Sometimes less really is more.

The color options are great – I’ve been testing the Starry Blue & Silky Black finish. The Starry Blue has got this lovely depth to it that catches the light beautifully. And the Silky Black has a rubberized texture, that adds grip and feels great in the hand. I really like the carbon fiber look of the Black Warrior, and I’m sure the eight available colors will all have that same premium feel despite the more affordable construction.

What really impressed me is how OXVA has maintained the build quality standards while cutting costs. The magnetic pod connection is just as strong and precise as the original NeXLIM – no wobble, perfect alignment every time. The airflow slider has that same satisfying resistance, and the mode switch has a reassuring click that feels like it’ll last for years.

The only thing I genuinely miss from the original NeXLIM is that rock-solid stability when standing upright. The slightly curved base design makes it a bit wobbly on flat surfaces – not a dealbreaker, but something to keep in mind if you’re a desk vaper like me. Still, it does have a rubber base, which is always nice. And the USB-C port has shifted to the side of the device, from the base, which I prefer. And ultimately, for the weight savings and pocket comfort, I’d make that trade-off every time.

But here’s where OXVA has actually improved on the original: the airflow system is absolutely perfect now.

They’ve kept the smooth sliding airflow control that I loved on the NeXLIM, but they’ve added a dedicated small MTL airflow slot when you close it right down. This is such a clever touch – it means proper MTL vapers (like me) get that precise, restricted draw they’re after, while RDL vapers can open it up for a more airy experience. The transition between the two is seamless and exactly what I wanted to see.

The auto-draw activation deserves special mention because it just works flawlessly. Unlike some pod systems that struggle with different airflow settings, the NeXLIM GO fires consistently whether you’re running it tight for MTL or wide open for RDL.

What we’ve lost compared to the original NeXLIM is that gorgeous circular display with its customizable themes. Instead, we get a simple tri-color LED battery indicator:

• Green for 65-100%
• Blue for 30-65%
• Red for below 30%

Initially, I thought I’d miss all that information, but honestly? The simplicity is refreshing. Sometimes you just want to grab your vape and go without thinking about themes or puff counters.

The power range remains impressive at 5-40W, with the device automatically adjusting to the optimal wattage for each pod resistance. It remembers your preferences too, which is a nice touch that shows OXVA sweated the details even on this simplified version.Finally, I can’t believe I’m saying this for such a lightweight budget pod, but the NeXLIM GO has a 1800mAh battery and still supports 2A fast charging. Pods & Coils

Here’s where the NeXLIM GO absolutely shines – it uses exactly the same pods as the original NeXLIM, which means you’re getting that exceptional dual mesh technology that completely blew me away when I first tested it.

If you’ve read my NeXLIM review, you’ll know I was genuinely shocked by just how good these pods are, and I’m thrilled that OXVA hasn’t compromised on this front for the GO version.

The kit comes with a single 0.8Ω pod (which quickly became my go-to on the original NeXLIM), but you can grab 0.6Ω and 1.2Ω options separately.

OXVA has cleverly color-coded the bases – orange for 0.8Ω, black for 0.6Ω, and green for 1.2Ω – which is such a simple but brilliant touch for organization.

Here are the specs that matter:

• 0.6Ω (Black) = 20-40W range – perfect for RDL vaping
• 0.8Ω (Orange) = 12-32W range – the sweet spot for MTL to light RDL
• 1.2Ω (Green) = 10-25W range – true MTL territory

The 4ml capacity (2ml for TPD regions) means less frequent refilling, and that side-fill port is good. It might not be as easy and mess-free as a true top fill system, but there are no top fill systems with over 3ml capacity.

I never need to remove the pod from the device to fill. I just flip the device upside down, pop open the rubber plug, and fill away – it’s minimal mess, maximum convenience. The rubber plug seals perfectly too. I haven’t had a single leak in my time testing both NeXLIM devices.

But what really sets these pods apart is the longevity, which is absolutely crazy. OXVA claims up to 15 refills, and honestly, I think they’re being conservative. I’m currently 80ml deep into my test pod (that’s 20 refills) and the flavor is still going strong. Let me start with what really matters: the flavor.

Using the included 0.8Ω pod, this thing is an absolute flavor machine. In ECO mode (16W), I’m getting rich, nuanced flavor that captures every note of my test liquids. The dual mesh technology means rapid heat-up and incredibly efficient vapor production – I’m picking up subtle flavor notes that I typically only experience with high-end sub-ohm setups.

But switch to BOOST mode (30W), and bloody hell – the flavor intensity jumps dramatically. With both mesh coils firing simultaneously, it’s like someone cranked the flavor dial to 11. The vapor becomes noticeably warmer and denser, with cloud production that’s genuinely impressive for a pod system. I’ve been using my usual complex fruity blend, and the difference between ECO and BOOST is night and day.

And when it does need charging, that 2A fast charging gets you from empty to full in just 45 minutes – perfect for those “damn, dead battery” moments.

Battery anxiety? What’s that? With the NeXLIM GO, it’s genuinely become a thing of the past.

Verdict

I’m going to cut straight to the chase here – the OXVA NeXLIM GO is hands down the best pod vape on the market right now, and I genuinely can’t believe I’m saying that about the “budget” version of a device I already loved.

What OXVA have created instead is a masterclass in smart engineering – they’ve taken everything that made the original exceptional and wrapped it in a package that’s lighter, longer-lasting, and more affordable.

The performance is absolutely identical to the original NeXLIM, which means it’s exceptional. That dual mesh technology delivers flavor that genuinely rivals my favorite sub-ohm tanks, and those ECO/BOOST modes remain game-changing. The fact that a single pod can last up to 30 refills while maintaining incredible flavor consistency is ridiculous – it completely changes the economics of pod vaping.

I don’t miss that beautiful display at all. The simple tri-color LED tells me everything I need to know, and the lack of menus and themes means I just grab it and vape. Sometimes simplicity really is perfection.

The 1800mAh battery has been a revelation. Three to four days between charges in ECO mode means I’ve completely forgotten what battery anxiety feels like.

And that 0.8Ω pod with the improved airflow system? Absolutely perfect. That dedicated MTL slot, when fully closed, gives me exactly the tight draw I crave, while still offering the flexibility to open it up for RDL when the mood strikes. It’s so good that my original NeXLIM has been sitting in the drawer untouched – I’m completely converted to the GO.

At under £15/$20, this is an absolute steal. You’re getting flagship performance, exceptional build quality, and features that actually matter, all wrapped in a package that disappears in your pocket and lasts for days between charges.

Who should buy this? Honestly, almost everyone. New vapers will love the simplicity and reliability. Experienced vapers will appreciate the performance and value. MTL enthusiasts will adore that perfect airflow. RDL vapers will be impressed by the flavor intensity in BOOST mode.

The only people I wouldn’t recommend this to are those who genuinely need the premium feel of metal construction or really want display features like puff counters and themes. For everyone else, the NeXLIM GO isn’t just a great pod vape – it’s the pod vape that’s made me stop looking for alternatives.
