Product Description

The OXVA XLIM GO Lite is OXVA’s most affordable entry into the XLIM range, retailing for around $12. If the XLIM GO 2 is the everyday workhorse, the GO Lite is its stripped-back sibling — sharing the same core DNA, but trimmed down to hit that ultra-budget price point.

The key differences over the GO 2 are a smaller 1000mAh battery, slower 1A charging, and the use of OXVA’s top-fill cartridges rather than side-fill pods. But what it does retain is impressive for the money — Unitech 2.0 technology, compatibility with the full XLIM Top Fill Cartridge range, draw-activated firing, adjustable side airflow, and a tri-colour RGB battery indicator, all in a lightweight 41.5g frame.

OXVA are positioning the GO Lite squarely at beginners looking to ditch disposables — and with each cartridge supporting up to ten refills (equivalent to around 15 disposables), the value case is hard to argue with. At this price, it’s a bold proposition.

Let’s see if it delivers.

Design & Build Quality

Picking up the XLIM GO Lite for the first time, it immediately feels familiar — OXVA have kept that classic XLIM silhouette we all know, maintaining the slim, pen-style profile that makes every device in this range so pocket-friendly. At just 41.5g, it’s actually slightly lighter than the GO 2’s 46g, which you do notice in hand.

OXVA XLIM GO 2 vs OXVA XLIM GO LITE

Where it differs from the GO 2 is in the finish. The GO 2 moved away from the textured panels of the original GO to smooth plastic across all colour options — and the GO Lite follows the same path, with PCTG and IML construction across all eight color variants: Light Blue, Light Pink, Light Purple, Mist White, Mist Blue, Black, Brown, and Black Carbon.

I’ll be honest — it does feel a step down from the other XLIM devices in terms of build quality. But at under $15, that’s hardly a surprise, and it’s hard to hold it against OXVA when the trade-off gets you into the XLIM ecosystem at this price.

One detail worth mentioning is the raised nubbin on the front of the device, which houses the tri-color RGB indicator and doubles — apparently — as an anxiety relief dot you can rub during stressful moments. OXVA’s words, not mine. I can’t say it did much for me, but it’s a quirky little touch that at least gives the GO Lite some personality of its own.

The magnetic pod connection feels solid, and the pod sits flush with no complaints. The adjustable airflow slider on the side is smooth and precise, with just the right amount of resistance — identical in feel to what you get on the GO 2.

Overall, the build is exactly what you’d expect at this price point — functional, lightweight, and perfectly fine for daily use. Just don’t go in expecting the same premium feel as the higher-end XLIM devices.

Features

The GO Lite sticks firmly to the same “keep it simple” philosophy as the GO 2, and that’s no bad thing. This is a plug-and-play device through and through — no buttons, no menus, no wattage settings to fiddle with. You fill it, you inhale, and it works. For beginners especially, that simplicity is genuinely invaluable.

Power output is fixed at a maximum of 30W, which is actually impressive for a sub-£10 device. It’s worth noting that the wattage is determined by whichever XLIM Top Fill Cartridge you’re running — the included 0.8Ω pod draws around 16W, which is a solid sweet spot for MTL vaping with nicotine salts. If you want to push up towards that 30W ceiling, you’ll need to grab the 0.4Ω cartridge separately.

Where the GO Lite does differ from the GO 2 is the battery. The 1000mAh cell is a step down from the GO 2’s 1500mAh, but OXVA claim it’ll still get you up to two days of heavy use — and in practice, that holds up well when running the 0.8Ω pod. Naturally, battery life takes a hit with the lower resistance options, but you’re still looking at a solid full day of vaping on the 0.6Ω cartridge.

Charging is via Type-C at 5V/1A — slower than the GO 2’s 2A fast charging, it has to be said. That’s probably the most noticeable compromise of the two. That said, it’ll still charge a flat battery in under an hour, so it’s not exactly painful.

Battery monitoring is handled by the tri-colour RGB indicator built into the front nubbin, using the same straightforward three-color system as the rest of the XLIM range — green above 65%, blue between 30–65%, and red below 30%. Simple, effective, and you can check it at a glance mid-vape.

  • Green: 65–100%
  • Blue: 30–65%
  • Red: 0–30%

The adjustable side airflow is a genuine highlight at this price — plenty of devices in this bracket give you fixed airflow and call it a day. Here, the AFC slider lets you dial in everything from a tight, cigarette-like MTL draw right through to a more open restricted lung hit, and it moves smoothly without feeling loose.

I love OXVA has replicated the pin-hole MTL draw they used in the GO 2 and the NeXLIM GO, to me it is the perfect MTL draw.

Safety features are all accounted for too — you’ve got an 8-second cut-off, overheating protection, low battery protection, short circuit protection, and overcharge protection. Nothing you wouldn’t expect, but reassuring to have covered off on a budget device.

For the price, the GO Lite’s feature set is genuinely hard to fault. You’re not getting the fast charging or the larger battery of the GO 2, but everything that matters day-to-day is present and accounted for.

Pods & Coils

This is where the GO Lite genuinely punches above its weight. Rather than pairing a budget device with budget pods, OXVA have equipped the GO Lite with their XLIM Top Fill Cartridges — the same cartridges found across the premium end of the XLIM range, and in my experience, some of the best refillable pods on the market right now.

Each cartridge is built around Unitech 2.0 technology, which delivers clean, consistent flavor with every puff. The five-layer leak-proof design keeps things tidy in your pocket, and the top-fill system makes refilling genuinely effortless — just lift the silicone plug, fill to the brim, and you’re done without ever pulling the pod from the device. Just make sure you prime a new cartridge for around five minutes before your first puff to let the cotton saturate fully.

The kit ships with a single 0.8Ω Top Fill Cartridge, but the GO Lite is compatible with the full XLIM Top Fill range — so you can also pick up 0.4Ω and 0.6Ω options separately depending on your preferred vaping style. The 0.8Ω is the pick for MTL vapers on nicotine salts, the 0.6Ω sits nicely in between MTL and RDL, and the 0.4Ω is the one to grab if you want a more powerful restricted lung hit.

Pod capacity sits at 3ml — or 2ml in TPD regions — which is perfectly adequate for daily use. And with each cartridge supporting up to ten refills, you’re getting seriously impressive longevity out of every pod. OXVA claim that’s equivalent to around 15 disposable devices, and the cost savings speak for themselves.

If you already own another XLIM device, the good news is that your existing XLIM Top Fill Cartridges will drop straight into the GO Lite without any fuss. That cross-compatibility across the entire XLIM ecosystem remains one of OXVA’s biggest selling points, and it’s as relevant here as anywhere else in the range.

Performance

After spending time with the GO Lite, I can confidently say that in terms of day-to-day vaping performance, this thing genuinely keeps pace with the GO 2. The flavour, the draw, the consistency — it’s all there.

The XLIM Top Fill Cartridges do the heavy lifting here, and they do it brilliantly. Using the included 0.8Ω pod, the flavour is rich, clean, and consistent — exactly what I’ve come to expect from the XLIM Top Fill range. Whether I was running nicotine salts or a freebase blend, the GO Lite handled both without breaking a sweat. There’s an instant ramp-up time with no delay, and power delivery remains stable and consistent throughout the life of the battery — right down to that red LED warning.

The wicking is practically flawless too. I chain-vaped through extended sessions trying to catch a dry hit and simply couldn’t make it happen — the cotton keeps right up, which is a testament to just how well engineered these cartridges are.

The airflow system deserves a mention as well. Even with the slider fully closed, you get a satisfying, tight MTL draw — and opening it up gradually takes you into restricted lung territory without any turbulence or whistling. The draw activation fires instantly across the entire airflow range, which isn’t always a given at this price point.

If you want to push into RDL territory, the 0.4Ω cartridge is the one to reach for — and it absolutely delivers. Likewise, the 0.6Ω sits beautifully in between, catering to both styles with ease. The GO Lite is far more versatile than its entry-level price tag suggests.

The only area where the GO Lite falls short of the GO 2 is battery capacity, and that’s to be expected given the price difference. The 1000mAh cell versus the GO 2’s 1500mAh means you’re losing roughly a day of heavy use. Running the 0.8Ω pod, I consistently got close to two days before needing a charge — solid performance. Drop down to the 0.6Ω and you’re looking at a full day, while the 0.4Ω will fall just short of that on heavy use. The 1A charging is slower than the GO 2’s 2A too, though getting from flat to full in under an hour is still perfectly acceptable.

Everything else though? It’s the GO 2’s equal. The flavor quality, the draw consistency, the leak-free reliability — all present and correct.

Verdict

The XLIM GO Lite is exactly what it sets out to be — a no-nonsense, genuinely impressive entry point into the XLIM ecosystem at a price that’s almost hard to believe. OXVA have taken the winning formula of the GO 2 and stripped it back just enough to hit that $12 price point without compromising where it actually matters: flavor, reliability, and ease of use.

Yes, the battery is smaller than the GO 2, and the 1A charging is slower. But the performance? It’s right there with its more expensive sibling. You’re getting the same XLIM Top Fill Cartridges, the same Unitech 2.0 technology, the same adjustable airflow, and the same leak-free reliability — all for a fraction of the price. That’s a remarkable achievement.

Who should buy this? Primarily, anyone looking to make the switch from disposables — the GO Lite makes that transition as painless as possible, with a plug-and-play experience that requires zero prior knowledge of vaping. New vapers will love the simplicity. Budget-conscious vapers will love the value. And seasoned XLIM users should absolutely consider this as a backup or travel device — picking up a spare is a no-brainer.

If your already own the XLIM GO 2 OR any of the XLIM Pro’s, there are better options for battery capacity and/or power adjustability. But honestly i’m always going to be carrying one of these as a travel companion.

The XLIM GO Lite is outstanding value. We’ve even spotted it in some UK retailers at around £7.99, which is just insane for a device that vapes this good.

If you want a reliable, flavorful, and fuss-free pod system that just works, OXVA have absolutely nailed it here. Highly recommended.
