What is it?
The Smok Pozz Pro Kit is a new update to Smok’s earlier released Pozz X pod kit.
Smok is prolific when it comes to releasing pod kits; they have so many currently on the market, including the Nord Pro, Novo 2S, Solus, and Thiner.
So what are the key upgrades to make the Smok Pozz a Pro?
Well, actually there are a few downgrades to take care of first.
The Pozz Pro actually comes with a smaller capacity battery, 1100mAh compared to the Pozz X’s 1400mAh.
Smok claims the Pro can be charged full in 90 minutes via USB Type C with a max 0.98A charge rate.
The Pozz Pro also has a lower power range and max output. IT has a variable wattage of 5.25W, while the Pozz X was 5-40W.
There’s also a downgrade in the size of the screen from 0.96in color TFT on the original to 0.69in OLED on the new Pozz Pro.
So what about upgrades?
The most significant and much-welcomed upgrade is with the airflow adjustment. On the original Pozz X, the airflow adjustment was on the base of the coil. Now with the Pozz Pro, you have a slider/lever on the actual device.
The Pozz Pro can be fired using either the dedicated fire button or through the auto draw feature.
The Pozz Pro comes with a refillable 2.6ml capacity pod (2ml TPD), which has a side-port for filling.
The pods utilize the LP1 range of coils from Smok, and included in the kit there are two LP1 0.9Ω meshed coils.
The Smok Pozz Pro Kit is available in 8 color options: Black Alloy, Fluid Black Grey, Red Stabilising Wood, Silver Black Alloy, Silver Red Alloy, Green Blue Alloy, 7-colour Alloy, and Fluid 7-color.

Who is it for?
Vapers who want a compact and stylish pod system with adjustable airflow.
I know Smok is not the best when it comes to naming devices, but by the looks of it, surely this should have been called the Pozz V2 and not the Pro?
There doesn’t seem to be much in the way of large upgrades or improved features to warrant the name ‘Pro.’
In fact, if you are just looking on paper, it could actually be a downgrade of sorts.
One thing that is significantly different is the slimmer profile and design format of the Pozz Pro, and I think it’s actually one of Smok’s better-looking pod systems and will undoubtedly be pocket-friendly.
I like the addition of the adjustable airflow slider, and we already know that the LP1 coils deliver a good vape experience.
It could be a decent choice if you are in the market for a compact, feature-rich pod system.
