The Vandy Vape Berserker V3 MTL RTA is the newest addition to the impressive range of Berserker Atomizers.
The Berserker line is a collaboration between Vandy Vape and Alex from Vapers MD, and it already has some impressive RDAs and RTAs in its stable.
So what’s new with the Berserker V3 MTL RTA?
The V3 sports a very new design, while keeping much of the Berserker essence.
The build deck has the same format as the previous versions with a two-clamp post design and beneath the coil airflow, which is adjustable by an insert.
There is no adjustable airflow ring on the Berserker V3. Two airflow inlets bring the air up beneath the coil from the outside. Then you are simply controlling the draw by choice of airflow pipe you insert into the deck.
The Berserker V3 comes with 4 inserts with either a 0.8mm, 1.2mm, 1.4mm, or 2mm diameter air inlet.
The new design allows you two replace the pipe/insert without removing your coil. The inserts also act as the 510 contact pin and are inserted from the bottom.
The V3 also has two tank configurations. It can either be used in short mode with the small glass chamber, which has a 2ml capacity. Or if you are in a non-TPD area, you will also receive an extended glass tank which gives a 6ml juice capacity.
The Berserker V3 has a top-fill system, which can be accessed by unscrewing the top cap.
It also comes with 3 different drip tip styles and includes two 0.74Ω Superfine MTL Fused Clapton Coils coils in the kit.
The Vandy Vape Berserker V3 MTL RTA is available in 5 colors: Matte Black, Stainless Steel, Gun Metal, Frosted Grey, and Gold.

Vapers who want an MTL RTA that will deliver on flavor and can provide a tight MTL draw.

The Berserker line has delivered some excellent MTL RTAs, and I don’t see the V3 being any different.
The design changes are interesting. I like that you can easily change the inserts without removing the coil. However, only having a 0.8mm, 1.2mm, 1.4mm, and 2mm airflow insert without an external adjustable airflow feels limiting.
I usually like my MTL draw to be around 1.0mm to 1.2mm in diameter, so I’m sure it will be fine for a satisfying MTL vape. However, I know some MTL vapers that like a little more control over their airflow.
As for the design of the RTA, it’s not super exciting but does look a little more modern than its predecessors.
We’ll have to wait and see how the vape quality stacks up with the Berserker V3, but if history is anything to go by, I’m sure it will be a very decent MTL RTA.
