The Vandy Vape Pulse 24 is an excellent squonking RDA that will give you a phenomenal vaping experience.

Although we did use the Pulse 22, we didn’t get the chance to review it, mainly because we were waiting for this one, it’s big brother! It’s another Tony B and Vandy Vape collaboration, and if it’s as good as it’s little sibling, I’m going to be a happy vaper. On the exterior, the Pulse 24 looks exactly the same as its little brother. However, at on the inside, there are definitely a few differences, which I will go over in detail further down in the review.

The Pulse 24 comes with both an Ultem and Delrin drip tip, which are Goon style at 11mm. Although both drip tips have the same inner diameter, the Ultem drip tip is a little wider on the exterior. I prefer the Ultem drip tip; it looks and feels better in the mouth than the Delrin drip tip. Also included is a 510 drip tip adapter so that you can use your own traditional 510 drip tips on the Pulse 24.

The flat top cap of the Pulse 24 has some slight beveling on the edges, and inside it’s a conical shape which is always conducive to great flavor. On either side of the top cap are two adjustable airflow holes that line up with corresponding holes on the barrel. The tension between the o-ring on the barrel and the top cap is very good.

The barrel itself is the same as on the Pulse 22 just in a bigger form. The airflow tubes are angled downward toward your coil, are significantly shorter than the ones found on the Pulse 22. with each tube measuring 3 mm in diameter. I think it helps make the airflow even more smooth than the Pulse 22 if that’s possible. The entire RDA seems to be machined very well, and exactly what I expected from Vandy Vape.

The Pulse 24 atomizer is made out of 304 stainless steel with a 24-karat gold plated deck, and gold plated screws. It is a postless deck that features a juice flow splitter in the center, and juice well measuring 7 mm deep. The splitter guarantees even juice dispersal while you are squonking, which is very good. The Pulse 24 does come pre-setup for squonking. Also, as you would expect, Vandy Vape included a traditional 510 pin for standard dripping use.

This postless deck I feel is mainly for dual coils setups. You can run it in single coil mode, but the performance just isn’t as good. It really is a dual coil squonking atomizer, but you do have to take care with the build you put in this RDA because most of the squonking mods on the market today are still single 18650 mechanical mods. The market simply hasn’t caught up with the squonking community yet. Hopefully, we start seeing some advances in squonking mods and perhaps dual 18650 regulated mods towards the end of the year.

The hardest part about building on postless decks is getting the lead length on your coils right. However I discovered a little trick with the Puls 24, I cut my leads to the exact length of the Ultem drip tip and seemed to work just fine.

If you use big coils in the Pulse 24 they do tend to take up quite a lot of space in the RDA. Even if you try to push them close together, they end up being really near the airflow tubes. It’s not necessarily a bad thing; as you will get full on flavor, but just be warned if you like to build huge coils.

Wicking on the Pulse 24 is as easy and straightforward as any other RDA. When I’ve used it squonking the juice splitter on the bottom of the deck has worked really well, it evenly covers my wicks with juice every time I squonk.

The only slight con I had with this deck is the Phillips head screws. They’re not terrible, but the quality of the screws is probably not the greatest.

I really don’t need too many words for this part of the review other than; the Vandy Vape Pulse 24 RDA is a phenomenal vape.

I’m always getting full on flavor no matter which way I run the airflow. With the airflow wide open you will get a very flavorful vape, and then if you close one air hole down slightly, and the flavor intensifies even more. It’s one of those rare RDAs that it doesn’t really matter if you’re a flavor or cloud chaser – this RDA will satisfy both of those needs.

Right now, the only setup I am vaping is the Pulse 24 on my Council Of Vapor Wraith; I just can’t seem to put it down, it’s a fantastic RDA. It is one of my favorite squonk RDAs, hands down.

The Vandy Vape Pulse 24 is a fantastic squonking RDA that will give you a remarkable vaping experience. The Pulse 24 can produce awesome and massive clouds, a rare thing for an affordable RDA. It is definitely my favorite squonking RDA on the market, and I highly recommend it.

I guess the only real downside is it’s difficult to find a squonker that can actually do the Pulse 24 justice. That’s not Vandy Vape or Tony B’s fault; it’s just the way the market is right now, it’s ahead of its time.

That being said, it’s still currently the best squonking RDA on the market for a dual coil setup. It is a fantastic follow-up to the Pulse 22 and gets the Vaping Vibe team seal of approval.
