Design & Build Quality

The GTX One Pro immediately stands out for how comfortable it feels in hand. The dimensions hit that perfect sweet spot at 137mm tall and just over 23mm wide, making it relatively pocket-friendly for a vape kit.

The all-polycarbonate construction might raise eyebrows, but this is quality plastic done right. Vaporesso has given the entire body a soft-touch coating that feels almost silicone-like. Despite being entirely plastic (except for the stainless steel 510 connection), there’s zero flex anywhere on the device.

The 510 connection is a proper chunky piece of stainless steel that feels rock-solid. At 20mm wide at the top, it tapers down slightly, but anything up to 22mm sits beautifully without overhang. One clever touch is the anti-slip silicone base that prevents sliding.

The front of the device has a 0.87-inch OLED display behind a black plastic panel. With the designated lock switch and adjustment buttons beneath.

The USB-C port for charging is also found here. This does make it a little congested on the front side, but it still looks clean. It’s also worth mentioning that the GTX One features a 3000mAh battery, which is 50% larger than the previous GTX One, despite being roughly the same size.

The fire button is nicely done. It sits almost flush with the device and is easy to find with your thumb without looking. It’s also incredibly light and responsive when clicking it.

The color options are genuinely appealing – I’ve been testing both the Silver and Brown. And I must say that the Brown version, with its Premium PU leather back panel, is really striking.

My only minor gripe with the design is that a tinted OLED display can be harder to read in bright sunlight compared to a standard white display.

Features

The GTX One Pro comes loaded with genuinely useful features rather than gimmicky additions.

The 0.87-inch OLED display is 26% larger than the original GTX One. It displays everything you need to see in a clean layout. Sadly, it’s not quite bright enough when in direct sunlight.

In keeping with most of Vaporesso’s recent devices. The GTX One Pro has 3 firing modes:

• SMART mode is brilliant for beginners, automatically detecting your coil and setting optimal power.
• Pulse mode delivers power in micro-pulses for consistent performance throughout your puff.
• Eco mode optimizes power delivery to extend battery life significantly.

It’s a simple device to use:

• 5 clicks switches the device on/off
• 3 clicks enter the menu for you to adjust the power mode and clear the puff counter.

The physical lock switch is far more reliable than button combinations, completely locking all functions with a simple slide.

Vaporesso has kept the feature set focused and practical – no unnecessary RGB lighting or confusing sub-menus.

Tank/Coils

The XTank T features Vaporesso’s SSS leak-resistant technology with top airflow design that virtually eliminates leaking.

The 3ml capacity hits the sweet spot, while the top-fill system is simple with a generously sized fill port and self-sealing silicone plug. With just a quick quarter-turn of the top cap, it comes off, ready for refilling.

The airflow control offers an incredibly wide range, from tight MTL to fairly open RDL. There is a mix of small holes, a large cyclops hole and visual indicators to make it easy to fine tune your draw.

Coil installation is simple – unscrew the base and push in the coil until it clicks. I’ve been impressed with the GTX coil’s longevity, as the 0.6Ω coil has lasted over two weeks without showing any flavor degradation.

The tank also comes with two drip tips, a designated MTL one, and a straight drip tip.

Performance

After several weeks of testing, the GTX One Pro and XTank T have seriously impressed me.

It’s a rare breed to see a full vape kit these days, and this is honestly one of the most consistent devices I’ve used.

Starting with the pre-installed 0.6Ω coil, I found my sweet spot around 22W – right in the middle of the recommended range. At this setting, the flavor clarity is genuinely impressive, picking up subtle notes in complex e-liquids. The vapor production is substantial without being overwhelming. I’ve been using it as my daily carry device, and it handles everything from fruit blends to rich dessert flavors with equal finesse.

What struck me most about the 0.6Ω coil is its consistency throughout the day. Even after chain vaping, the wicking keeps pace perfectly – no dry hits, no flooding, just reliable performance hit after hit. The coil I’ve been testing has now seen over 50ml of various e-liquids, and the flavor is still as clean as day one.

Switching to the 1.2Ω coil transformed the device entirely. At 10W with the airflow closed down to about 30%, it delivers an authentic MTL experience that genuinely rivals dedicated MTL devices. The throat hit is pronounced but smooth, and the flavor concentration is outstanding – particularly with higher nicotine freebase liquids and nic salts. For anyone transitioning from smoking or who prefers a tighter draw, this setup is absolutely spot-on.

I spent a week using only the 1.2Ω coil. And while I’d prefer a more compact pod for MTL vaping, I still absolutely loved the GTX ONE Pro.

The top airflow system performs flawlessly in practice. The adjustment is smooth and predictable, with enough range to satisfy both tight MTL enthusiasts and those who prefer a more open draw. The vapor feels clean and cool throughout the adjustment range, with no whistling or turbulence.

The battery life with the GTX One is excellent. Its 3000mAh battery does a great job at lasting the day with the 0.6Ω, and what felt like forever with the 1.2Ω (3 days).

It’s also relatively fast to recharge with 2A USB-C fast charge support.

Verdict

I’m genuinely impressed with what Vaporesso has achieved with the GTX One Pro. They’ve taken the beloved original and given it a proper grown-up makeover without losing the simplicity that made it special.

This is exactly the kind of device the market needs more of – compact, reliable, and genuinely accessible.

The build quality is excellent, and that 3000mAh battery delivers on its promise of multi-day use.

The XTank T is a revelation in leak-proof design, and the GTX coils continue to set the standard for flavor and longevity. Yes, the 40W limit means you can’t use the most powerful coils, but for MTL and RDL vaping, it’s perfectly adequate.

If you’re looking for a reliable daily driver that bridges the gap between basic pods and full-sized mods, the GTX One Pro deserves serious consideration. It’s earned a permanent spot in my rotation, and I suspect it’ll do the same for many others who appreciate a quality device and tank combo.
