X marks the spot
You’d be forgiven at first glance to think the Revenger X is just an identical design to its predecessor; it even comes paired with the same NRG Tank. However, upon closer inspection, you’ll notice something a little more slick and modern on the new ‘X’.
Vaporesso has replaced the front facing mode & adjustment buttons with touch responsive buttons, which are still located just below the main display. It’s a great to see manufacturers adapting to different technology, and Vaporesso is not afraid to try and push the boundaries.
Taking the new features one step further Vaporesso has also included an 8-tier vibration system, with the option of customizing the vibration levels on the device; essentially mimicking the haptic feedback like a mobile phone. Also, this allows for a simplified menu system with easy “one touch” navigation, and Vaporesso is saying it comes with the new Omni Board 2.2 (compared to 2.0 on the original). However, exact board enhancements have not been stated, and it could just be a more friendly UI.
As mentioned, the NRG Tank makes is also included with this kit, in either 2 mL or 5 mL capacity. The tank uses the GT Core coil family and comes pre-installed with a GT4 and an NRG8 GT Core coil, both at 0.15 ohm.
If you didn’t buy into the Revenger hype the first time around, I’ve got a feeling Vaporesso’s latest offering might tempt you, and if the new features hold up, we could see this device convert a few more users to the Vaporesso brand.
