What is it?
The Vaporesso Swag PX80 Kit is Vaporesso’s answer to the current trend in hybrid AIO/pod kits and is the latest extension to the popular “Swag” family.
The original Swag kit was a huge success when it first came out years ago, and the long-awaited follow-up Swag 2 Kit also got great reviews.
The Swag family’s main selling point is their incredibly compact size (being barely taller than an installed 18650 battery), along with an excellent chipset.
The Swag PX80 is no different in form and is somewhat more striking with its design accents.
Vaporesso has created the side panels of the mod out of ‘IML’ (In-mold Labelling), which has allowed them to nestle the beautiful 0.96in TFT screen seamlessly into the device. This means when the screen is switched off, you won’t even know it’s there!
The Swag PX80 has an output range of 5-80W, as the name suggests. It is powered by the excellent Axon chip found in most newer Vaporesso devices.
The notable difference between the Swag PX80 and its predecessors is it utilizes a pod instead of a tank.
The included Swag pod, which has a 4ml capacity and uses the GTX range of coils, also has some unique design aspects.
The pod connects to the device through strong magnets and acts as the airflow control as you rotate it.
The coils also fit entirely flush to the bottom of the pod and are inserted, locked in place, and removed by twisting and pushing down the mouthpiece. A very creative way of doing things, which not only allows you to change coils without emptying the pod but also should prevent any leaking.
The Swag PX80 kit comes with both a 0.2ohm and 0.3ohm GTX Mesh coil.
It’s currently available in 5 colors from Brick Black, Imperial Red, Emerald Green, Leather Brown, and Gunmetal Grey.

Our Vibe
I may be a little biased here as I’m a fan of the Swag range by Vaporesso and actually own both their previous kits.
However, I’ve got to say the PX80 design looks like an incredibly sexy kit and a step up from both of those.
I love the way the screen and the pod seem to integrate seamlessly with the kit, and the coil removal is a very smart idea.
It’s a shame there’s no mention of a 510 adapter because I’d love to use the device with one of my own tanks and not just the pod – maybe they’ll release one down the line.
I’m pretty sure when it comes to performance, the PX80 won’t be a disappointment, as the Axon chipset combined with the GTX coils have always been excellent.
