VOOPOO Pericles RDA Intro
After GeneGate with the Vandy Vape Pulse BF 80W VooPoo have focused on tanks, trying to avoid any new publicity surrounding the chip and it seems they are avoiding releasing a Gene squonk of their own until the clouds have settled. In the meantime, we have the Rune, Conjure, U-Force T1 and now the Pericles.
Have the design team managed to Conjure up a new Force or have they Rune the design?
What Is it?
The Pericles is a dual coil RDA which accommodates all types of wires with big wire slots and the ability to quickly push in the coil heads and fix them in place. It has a deep juice well which VooPoo states “allows vapors to have more fun vaping.”
It has smooth bottom-side airflows which allow the air to go through the coils from four airflow tubes. There’s also a bridge in the center which divides the liquid into both sides, described as anti-spray eliminating the spray and pray approach to vape. There is also a screen at the top of the RDA cap to prevent e-liquid from getting into the drip tip, therefore stopping leakage.
Who is it for?
Pericles RDA is for flavor addicts and RDA beginners. This RDA will give an easy building experience.

Our Vibe
The Pericles RDA at first glance might have you fooled into thinking its the Rune RDA, open it up to take a look at the build deck and you have a Bonza style deck – two coils one pair of legs fixed with screws, the other pair with pressure plates, lowering under the posts. Take a look at the airflow and again there is a hint of something familiar, this time we see the four bottom side airflow holes reminiscent of the Reload RDA maybe?
Overall this device seems to be less prominent and influential Greek statesman, and more Frankenstein. Does this make it a bad device, not at all. Taking these pre existing designs, all of which are good and combining them could have created the ultimate performing device. Lets hope there was some thought and reasoning in using this combination of features and the designers didn’t just get lazy.
