DESIGN & BUILD QUALITY
The Vinci E120 is quite a hefty device, and I mean that in the best possible way. At 157g, it has that premium weight that makes it feel substantial in the hand without being cumbersome. The aluminum alloy construction gives it a solid, well-built feel that’s a step above typical pod devices.
What immediately catches the eye is that gorgeous 2.4-inch color display. It’s bright, vibrant, and easily readable even in direct sunlight. I particularly love how VOOPOO has implemented the watch face feature – it’s not just a gimmick, but actually adds a practical element to the device. You start with two themes and unlock more as you use the device (up to 18 in total), which gives you something to look forward to.
The button placement is spot-on. The fire button is perfectly positioned for thumb or finger firing, with a satisfying click and no rattle. I love that they included the dedicated lock switch on the side – I wish more manufacturers would do this. The adjustment buttons are equally well-done, with good tactile feedback and no wobble.

Airflow control is handled by a smooth sliding mechanism on the side of the device. It’s well-tensioned – not too loose that it moves in your pocket, but not so tight that it’s difficult to adjust. The range from fully open to closed is decent, though I noticed there are two small fixed airflow holes that ensure you always get some air even when fully closed.
The pod connection is solid. The magnets are strong – almost too strong at first – but they ensure the pod sits perfectly without any wiggle. The fill port is nicely implemented too, with a secure rubber plug that’s actually easy to open (a rare feat in the vaping world!).
The device has a lovely matte finish, which is particularly well done on the Star Purple version I have for review. And I’ve got to say I didn’t think I’d like this color as much as I do—it’s pretty stunning.
The only minor gripe I have with the design is that it’s a bit of a fingerprint magnet, mainly due to its large display. But you know what, that’s being nitpicky and is a compromise i’m willing to take.
FEATURES
The Vinci E120 comes packed with features that really set it apart from your typical pod device. Let’s break down what makes this device special.
First up, that massive 4500mAh internal battery isn’t just for show – it’s perfectly matched with the device’s capabilities. When paired with 2A fast charging through USB-C, you’re looking at a device that not only lasts but gets back in action quickly when needed.
The power range is impressive – adjustable from 5-120W – and VOOPOO has implemented their Smart Coil Detection system, which I found works brilliantly. Pop in a new coil, and the device automatically sets the recommended wattage and maximum limit to prevent any accidental coil burnout. It’s particularly handy if you’re new to higher-wattage vaping.

That stunning 2.4-inch color display isn’t just about looking pretty (though it does that very well). The screen shows all your essential information clearly – wattage, resistance, puff count, and battery level. But what sets it apart is the collection of 18 different watch faces that you can unlock as you use the device (by puff count). It’s a neat gamification feature that actually had me excited to unlock new themes.
The airflow control system deserves special mention. The stepless slider gives you precise control over your draw, and I found it works equally well for both RDL and DL vaping. However, don’t expect a super tight MTL draw – this device is clearly geared towards the cloudier end of the spectrum.

Operating the Vinci E120 is straightforward:
- 5 clicks of the fire button for power on/off
- Use the +/- buttons for wattage adjustment
- Dedicated lock switch for pocket carry
- Press both adjustment buttons to access the menu
- Fire button to select menu options
One feature I particularly appreciate is the lock switch – no more accidental pocket firing or wattage changes. It’s a simple addition that makes a real difference in daily use.

The device also comes with all the safety features you’d expect:
- 8-second cutoff
- Short circuit protection
- Temperature monitoring
- Low battery warning
- Overcharge protection
- Smart coil protection
While some of these features might seem standard, it’s the implementation that makes the difference. Everything feels polished and well-thought-out, making the Vinci E120 a pleasure to use on a daily basis.
PODS/COILS
The Vinci E120 kit comes with a generously-sized 5ml pod (2ml TPD version) that’s compatible with VOOPOO’s entire PnP-X coil range. In the box, you get two mesh coils to play with:
- 0.15Ω mesh (60-80W)
- 0.3Ω mesh (32-40W, pre-installed)
The pod itself is a winner in my book. It’s lightly tinted – just enough to see your juice level clearly without making it a guessing game (I’m looking at you, dark-tinted pods!).
The top-fill system is well executed. It’s a rubber plug on the top side of the pod, with a decent-sized filling port that accommodates most bottle nozzles without making a mess.
What impressed me most about the pod is its connection to the device. The magnets are seriously strong – almost pulling the pod out of your hand when you get close to the device. Once seated, there’s absolutely zero movement or wobble, which is exactly what you want.
VOOPOO’s PnP-X coil range is extensive, giving you plenty of options beyond what comes in the kit:
- 0.15Ω mesh (60-80W)
- 0.2Ω mesh (40-60W)
- 0.3Ω mesh (32-40W)
- 0.45Ω mesh (25-32W)
- 0.6Ω mesh (18-23W)
- 0.8Ω mesh (12-16W)
- 1.0Ω mesh (10-13W)
The coil installation is straightforward – they press-fit into the bottom of the pod with a satisfying click. I like they have the double O-ring system for a proper seal and to prevent any leaking (which I experienced none of during testing).
One thing to note – while the pod system accepts the entire PnP-X range, the included pod is definitely optimized for DL and RDL vaping. The wide-bore mouthpiece and airflow setup mean that even with a higher resistance coil, you won’t get a true MTL experience.
VOOPOO does offer a dedicated MTL pod separately, which I’d recommend picking up if you prefer a tighter draw. But unfortunately, I haven’t been able to test it at this stage.
Coil longevity has been impressive. I’ve put about 60ml through the 0.3Ω coil, and it’s still going strong with no noticeable drop in flavor. The 0.15Ω has been similarly robust, though it does drink juice a bit faster at higher wattages (as you’d expect).
PERFORMANCE
Let me cut straight to the chase – the Vinci E120’s performance has seriously impressed me. I’ve been testing both included coils extensively, so let’s break down how each performs.
The 0.15Ω Mesh Coil (60-80W)
Starting with the heavy hitter, I tested this coil with a 70/30 VG/PG juice at various wattages. While VOOPOO recommends 60-80W, I found my sweet spot much lower – around 45-50W. At this range, you get excellent flavor clarity and impressive vapor production without absolutely demolishing your battery life.
At the recommended 60W, it’s an intense vape – perhaps too intense for my liking. The flavor is still excellent, but the vapor gets very warm and dense. I did push it to 80W briefly (because why not?), and while the coil handled it like a champ, it’s more power than most vapers would need.
The 0.3Ω Mesh Coil (32-40W)
This coil turned out to be my favorite of the two. Running it at 35W with a 60/40 juice, it hits that perfect balance of flavor and vapor production. The flavor is crisp and clean, with excellent definition between complex juice notes. What really impressed me was how well it performed even below its recommended range – at 25W, you still get a satisfying vape with great flavor.
Airflow Performance
The airflow control on the Vinci E120 is excellent. When fully open, you get a properly airy direct-lung hit that would satisfy even hardcore DL vapers. Close it down about halfway, and you’re in restricted-direct-lung territory, which is where I spent most of my time.
However, I should note that even with the airflow nearly closed, you won’t get a true MTL draw from these coils. The fixed airflow holes and wide-bore mouthpiece mean it’s still relatively airy. If you’re after a proper MTL vape, you might want to look at getting VOOPOO’s MTL pod separately.
Coil Longevity and Reliability
I’ve put about 60ml through each coil during testing, and I’m genuinely impressed with their longevity. The 0.15Ω coil showed minimal flavor drop-off even after heavy use at higher wattages. The 0.3Ω coil has been even more impressive, maintaining consistent flavor throughout testing.
What’s particularly noteworthy is the wicking performance – no dry hits, no flooding, and no leaking. The coils handle chain vaping like champions, even with thicker juices. This reliability is crucial for a daily driver device.

Temperature Management
Even during extended vaping sessions, the device manages heat well. The coils warm up as you’d expect, but the device itself remains comfortable to hold. This is particularly impressive when you consider the power levels this thing can push.
Battery Life & Charging
The 4500mAh battery is an absolute beast, and it really delivers in real-world use. With the 0.3Ω coil at 35W, I was easily getting through two full days of moderate to heavy vaping. Even with the power-hungry 0.15Ω coil at 50W, I still managed a solid day and a half of use. The battery indicator is accurate too – no sudden drops from 40% to dead like you see on some devices.
Charging is handled via USB-C with 2A capability, taking around 1 hour and 45 minutes for a full charge from empty. While this might seem long compared to smaller pod systems, it’s actually pretty impressive considering the massive battery capacity. I appreciate that VOOPOO included pass-through vaping – though the device does warm up slightly when used while charging. The screen displays both percentage and estimated time remaining during charging, which is a nice touch, though I wish the display stayed on throughout the charging process instead of timing out.

VERDICT
After testing the Vinci E120, I can confidently say it’s an impressive pod system. VOOPOO has created something that genuinely bridges the gap between traditional pod devices and full-fledged mods.
While it’s not the most compact device, and the included pod isn’t suited for true MTL vaping, it absolutely shines in the RDL and DL department. The flavor production rivals many sub-ohm tanks, and that massive 4500mAh battery means you’re not constantly reaching for the charging cable.
What really sets it apart is the attention to detail – from the dedicated lock switch to the practical watch face system, everything feels well thought out. The build quality is exceptional, and the coil longevity is impressive. Plus, having access to the entire PnP-X coil range means you can really dial in your perfect vape.I think the Vinci E120 will particularly suit intermediate to advanced vapers who want a powerful, feature-rich device that can keep up with their daily needs. If you’re after something for MTL vaping, you might want to look elsewhere (or pick up the MTL pod separately). But for everyone else – especially those who enjoy a warmer, cloudier vape – the Vinci E120 is a solid choice that’s worth every penny.
