Picking up the VINCI S for the first time, the most striking thing is how simple but elegant it still feels. VOOPOO has gone for a short, boxy profile that’s immediately comfortable in the hand – it’s got that premium feel despite being quite lightweight at around 80g.

The gradient finish on my review unit (that lovely bronze-to-gold fade) catches light beautifully and gives it a far more upscale appearance than the price point might suggest.

The build quality is absolutely solid. The zinc alloy chassis feels robust without adding unnecessary bulk, and there’s no creaking or flex anywhere. What really stands out is the textured panel on the front – it’s got this lovely crosshatch pattern that provides a little bit of grip and adds a nice tactile element when you’re holding it.

The pod connection uses strong magnets that hold everything firmly in place with a satisfying click. There’s virtually no wobble when the pod is seated. The clear pod lets you see your e-liquid level at a glance.

That 2000mAh battery is a proper workhorse for a device this size. With the 0.8Ω cartridge running MTL around 18-20W, I’m easily getting 2 days and then some. Even pushing the 0.6Ω cartridge at 25-28W for RDL, I’m getting through a day before needing a charge.

However, frustratingly, VOOPOO only gave us 1A USB-C charging, which is my biggest negative with the device.

The draw-activated firing is spot-on. No buttons to press, just pick it up and vape. I’ve tested it extensively with both tight MTL and wide-open RDL settings, and the activation is instant and consistent every single time. No misfires, no lag, just reliable performance.

The VINCI S also has PnP X coil compatibility. This opens up a massive range of coil options beyond the included cartridges – you can go all the way from 0.15Ω for proper warm RDL vaping right up to 1.2Ω for tight MTL with high-nic salts. That’s genuine versatility from a single device.

The kit comes with one VINCI S cartridge, a 0.8Ω cartridge which is ideal for the device.

However a 0.6Ω cartridge is also available, and we have tested both.

Both are integrated units featuring VOOPOO’s iCosm Code 2.0 technology, which the company claims delivers 30 days (or 100ml) of clean, steady flavor. These are available in both 4.5ml and 2ml (TPD regions).

Filling is handled via a top-fill silicone plug system. Pop open the rubber stopper, squeeze your bottle in, and you’re done. It’s not the most elegant filling method out there, but it works perfectly fine and hasn’t given me any grief. The plug seals tight with no leaking. Just make sure you’ve got reasonably slim bottle nozzles; chunky ones can be a bit fiddly.

The 0.8Ω cartridge is designed for MTL vaping in the 12-18W range, and it’s spot-on for nic salts or higher-strength freebase. You get a proper restrictive draw when you close down that airflow slider, with nice warm vapor and a genuine throat hit.

The 0.6Ω cartridge sits in that middle ground – it’s rated for 20-28W and works brilliantly as an RDL option. You get richer, warmer vapor than the 0.8Ω while still maintaining excellent flavor. Open up that airflow and this cartridge delivers a smooth, airy draw that’s seriously satisfying.

The flavor production is the real standout here, and I need to be clear about this – the VINCI S specific 0.6Ω and 0.8Ω cartridges deliver absolutely outstanding flavor. With the 0.6Ω cartridge, I’m getting rich, layered flavor that honestly rivals some of my bigger setups.

VOOPOO’s iCosm Code 2.0 tech clearly isn’t just marketing waffle – the flavor stays remarkably clean and consistent. I’ve been testing with a complex dessert liquid, and I’m picking out individual notes of vanilla, caramel, and cream that often get muddled together in lesser devices.

The mesh heating is efficient and even, giving you that saturated taste from the very first puff.

While the device is compatible with the broader PnP X platform (which is brilliant for versatility), these VINCI S specific cartridges are where the magic happens. The flavor delivery is genuinely exceptional – among the best I’ve experienced from any pod system. If you’re buying this device, make sure you stock up on these specific cartridges because they’re the star of the show.

With the 0.8Ω cartridge, the MTL experience is absolutely spot-on. Close down that airflow slider, and you get a super-tight draw with nice, warm vapor and genuine throat hit. I’ve been running 20mg nic salts through this setup, and it’s delivering exactly what I want – satisfying nicotine delivery without harshness, and flavor that stays punchy and clear.

The wicking keeps up beautifully even when I’m chain vaping during work breaks.

That claim about 30 days or 100ml of clean flavor from the iCosm Code 2.0 cartridges? I’m well past the 14-day mark on the 0.6Ω cartridge and the flavor is still going strong with no noticeable degradation. No burnt notes, no muted taste, just consistently excellent performance. If it keeps up like this, VOOPOO’s claims are accurate.

The draw-activated firing is great. Even with the airflow fully open, it activates instantly without needing a hard pull. No misfires, no delayed activation, just consistent performance every time.

Battery life from that 2000mAh cell is solid for the size. With the 0.8Ω cartridge running MTL, I’m comfortably getting two days with moderate use. With the 0.6Ω cartridge pushed harder, I’m getting through most of a working day before needing a top-up, which is still perfectly respectable.

Unfortunately, the charge time is slow. I can’t understand why VOOPOO only gave us 1A charging with such a large battery. I never let the device get drained entirely, but in my estimation, you are looking at around 90 minutes for a full charge.

Overall, the VINCI S delivers performance that genuinely punches above its weight class. It’s comfortable, consistent, flavorful, and reliable – exactly what you want from a daily driver pod mod.

Verdict

The VOOPOO VINCI S is a properly impressive bit of kit that delivers exactly what a good pod mod should – excellent performance in a genuinely portable package.

The flavor from those iCosm Code 2.0 cartridges is genuinely outstanding, and the battery life is solid for the size.

I’m just so disappointed it doesn’t have faster charging times!

Who should buy this? New vapers looking for their first proper device will love the simplicity and automatic operation. MTL enthusiasts will appreciate that tight draw and excellent nic salt performance with the 0.8Ω cartridge.

RDL vapers wanting something portable will be impressed by the flavor and vapor from the 0.6Ω option.

But, if you’re someone who prefers manual control with fire buttons and adjustable wattage, or a heavy cloud chaser needing 80W+ and massive vapor production, you might want to look elsewhere.

At its price point, the VINCI S represents excellent value. You’re getting versatile performance and genuinely impressive flavor delivery in a compact, well-built package.

The build quality feels premium, the airflow system gives you proper versatility, and the PnP X compatibility means you’re not locked into limited coil options.

The VINCI S gets a solid recommendation from me. It’s a device that just works, and works well, which is exactly what most vapers actually need. Just a shame about that 1A charging.
