Design & Build Quality
The VRIZZ has a distinctly modern design, featuring an aluminum alloy body that feels surprisingly premium for a disposable-style device.
At 98.6mm tall, 51.8mm wide, and 22.7mm thick, it’s noticeably larger than your average disposable. The weight of 112g with a full pod also gives it a substantial feel in hand.
The front of the device houses a color display behind a plastic panel. While the plastic is more durable than I expected, it can pick up minor scratches over time.

The display shows essential information like battery percentage, wattage output (12W, 18W, or 24W), and a puff timer. There’s also an LED light strip that changes color based on your power setting – blue for 12W/18W and red for 24W.
The aluminum alloy shell wraps around most of the device, with minimal branding – just a simple VOOPOO logo on one side. The device comes in six color options, with five featuring an attractive gradient finish that transitions from light to dark. The midnight black option is a solid color throughout.
The pod connects securely at the top of the device and sits flush within the body, contributing to the VRIZZ’s clean, unified design.

A viewing window is cut into the aluminum shell to check e-liquid levels. However, the tinted pod and single-sided window design make it challenging to see the juice level without direct lighting.
The device features a single button for wattage adjustment, which feels responsive and tactile. There’s also a lanyard anchor point near the top, though no lanyard is included in the package.
The build quality is impressive overall, with no flex in the body and solid construction throughout. Even after multiple drops, the device maintains its structural integrity with minimal signs of wear.
Features
The VRIZZ keeps things straightforward with a focused set of features that center around ease of use.
The device utilizes three power settings (12W, 18W, and 24W), adjusted via a single button press. The wattage selection is clearly indicated on the color display and reinforced by the LED light bar that shifts between blue and red.
The display panel, while compact, provides all essential information at a glance – showing wattage output, battery percentage, and a puff timer.
The adjustable airflow slider is in the style of VOOPOO’s high-capacity disposables. It’s a simple slider switch on the base that offers one pinhole for MTL or a larger cylindrical hole for a loose MTL or RDL draw.

Pass-through charging is supported, allowing you to vape while the device charges. To be honest, I found it pretty essential because the VRIZZ only comes with an 800mAh battery, which for the device’s size is pretty low.
Also, rather disappointingly, it only has 1A charging and takes about 60 minutes to charge fully. Now you know why I said a good job that it has pass-through.
One notable absence is the lack of a puff counter, which would have been useful for tracking pod longevity, especially given VOOPOO’s ambitious 80,000 puff claim for each pod!
Pods/Coils
The VRIZZ’s standout feature is its massive 15ml pod capacity, which sets it apart from typical pod systems.
Yep, you read that right, 15ml – even I was surprised by just how huge these pods are (I’m not sure our pics do it justice).
The kit includes a single 0.7Ω pod, designed to work with both freebase and nic salts, though it performs best with nic salts. There’s also a 0.4Ω pod available separately, which is optimized for freebase nicotine.

VOOPOO has implemented what they call a dual-layer cotton system in these pods. The design uses one layer wrapped around the coil and a second high-absorption layer surrounding it.
This construction, combined with its pressure control structure, aims to prevent leaking and enhance e-liquid absorption for consistent flavor delivery.
The pods are designed to handle four complete refills (60ml total) and claim to last for up to 80,000 puffs. While this is an ambitious claim, my testing showed impressive longevity – after 45ml of use, there was no noticeable decline in flavor or vapor production (more on this later).
It’s worth noting that the fill port on the side of the pod is generously sized and easily accessible. But removing the pod is necessary for refilling.
One downside I encountered was some occasional leaking, particularly around the base of the pod, despite VOOPOO’s leak-proof claims. While not a constant issue, it’s worth noting that you might need to keep some paper towels handy for occasional maintenance.
Performance
The VRIZZ offers a vaping experience that sits somewhere between a traditional pod system and a disposable.
Testing with both 20mg nic salts revealed good flavor production, though not quite as rich as some premium disposables or top pod vapes.
I was expecting flavor along the lines of the ARGUS Pro by VOOPOO, but sadly it doesn’t quite reach these heights.
I think it’s the nature of such a large pod. There’s a lot of space between the coil and the mouthpiece. This also led to me finding the vape a bit too cool.
I’m used to vaping pods of 0.7Ω resistance at around 18W, and the VRIZZ just doesn’t deliver the warmth I’m used to at that wattage.
I cranked it up to 24W, which does deliver a warmer vape. But still falls short in comparison to the ARGUS pods or Caliburns. I also think 24W was a bit too powerful for the liquid I was running.
Let me be clear here. The flavor and vape experience of the Vrizz is still great. I just think I’ve been spoilt by so many fantastic pod vapes recently, but it’s far better than average.
One thing that did surprise me was just how smooth the airflow is. On the MTL setting, it’s almost silent and super smooth. If you crank it fully open you can get a RDL draw.
It’s still smooth in this setting, but I found the auto draw did have a few inconsistencies here. It’s ok if you typically take big deep inhales. If, like me, you typically vape MTL, you’ll have no issues with the VRIZZ.
Another thing I noticed in my testing was a few gurgling issues. This only happened after a refill (or if I left the device lying on its side). Again, I think this is just the nature of such a large pod and all that space/excess air inside.
A couple of shakes and vapes of the pod, and a quick wipedown and things quickly get back to normal.
Battery Life & Charging
The 800mAh battery delivers moderate performance, though it feels really undersized considering the device’s size.
With regular use at 18W, you can expect to vape through about 5ml of e-liquid per charge.
The battery indicator is helpful, but you’ll notice a significant drop in performance once it hits 20%, making this the practical recharge point. I find that extremely disappointing!
Charging is handled via USB-C and takes approximately 45-60 minutes for a full charge from 20%. As I mentioned before, the pass-through charging feature feels essential on the VRIZZ.
I think if VOOPOO cut back the pod size to around 10ml, and upped the battery capacity. The VRIZZ would have been a far more competent device in all aspects.

Verdict
The VOOPOO VRIZZ represents an interesting evolution in the pod vape market, attempting to bridge the gap between traditional pod systems and high-capacity disposables.
Its standout 15ml capacity and good build quality make it an attractive option for those looking to transition away from disposables, but it comes with some notable compromises.
Where the device shines is in its ease of use and pod longevity. The pods maintain consistent flavor even after substantial use. However, the vaping experience falls slightly short of the best pod vapes on the market.
The cooler vapor production, small battery, and some auto-draw inconsistencies have left me a little underwhelmed.
For vapers seeking a sustainable alternative to high-capacity disposables, the VRIZZ makes a compelling case with its generous pod capacity and simple operation. But even at its price point, it’s competing in a crowded market where devices like the ARGUS series offer more refined performance.
That said, the VRIZZ feels like a first-generation product that could benefit from some refinement in the future.
