The Wotofo Skuare 6000 disposable vape range is a completely different take on this trending category.

The Skuare 6000 uniquely adopts the use of an external 18650 battery, which can still be charged via the USB Type-C. This is ideal for experienced vapers that have their own batteries.

The Skuare 6000’s come with 15ml of prefilled salt nicotine juice in either a 2% (20mg) or 5% (50mg) strength.

The device has a familiar boxed AIO-style design and comes in some eye-catching fluorescent colorways.

Design & Style

The design of the Skuare 6000 is just like an all-in-one box. In fact, to be more precise, it’s almost a plastic replica of the incredibly popular DotAIOs.

Unlike that device, the Skuare 6000 only has one removable side panel. This is the panel with the large branding on (which we’ll come to later). Inside you will find a battery compartment for your 18650 battery.

There is also a small circular opening on the other side of that panel. At first glance, it looks like it should be where a button goes. However, I soon realized it is probably where the airflow goes to get to the coil.

However, unlike other disposables, it allows you to see the cartomizer style wick inside and potentially your juice level. This is assisted by the fact that all of the R6000s are translucent. It’s a little easier with the lighter-colored ones, and I’m not sure if it was intended by design, but I like that I can see when juice is running low.

That brings me on to the fluorescent and translucent body of the Skuare 6000 and the colorways. They are vibrant, fun, and absolutely ideal for the type of device.

I’m not as keen on the big ‘Skuare 6000’ branding and the square Wotofo logo on the side panel. It’s very in your face, but I guess it suits the device’s overall style.

There are a few more design traits the Skuare 6000 has in common with the DotAIOs. It has a USB-C port for charging on the bottom side of the device. Just above this port, inside and beneath the coil section is where the LED is placed. It lights up when you inhale and shines through the fluorescent plastic of the device.

The Skuare 6000 also has the same Whistle tip style drip tip as the DotAIO V2. The drip tip is removable for the device, but it’s not a 510. It’s slightly smaller, so you will struggle to use your own.

I really love what Wotofo has tried to build here with the Skuare 6000. It’s a very different approach to disposables to be able to use your own 18650 battery and only have to dispose of the plastic device. They are fun, vibrant, and easy to use.

It is worth noting that the build quality is good on the Skuare 6000. However, with one of our devices the door had quite a bit of play in it. However, these are sample test units, so that might be the case with retail ones.

Flavors

Blueberry Raspberry Ice

A really nicely balanced combination with this one. The blueberry is nice and authentic, with just the right amount of tartness to it. Then throughout the inhale, you are treated to bursts of sweet raspberry goodness. It has a very good balance of cooling to it – one of my favorites from this line.

Sour Apple

There’s no denying there is a sour apple flavor coming through with this vape. However, I’m not particularly fond of it. I don’t have much reference to compare to sour apple-flavored vapes, but for me, this feels like it has a bit too much of an unnatural taste to it. On the exhale, there is almost a plasticky kind of taste left in your mouth. It could just be me, but definitely my least favorite of the bunch.

Gummy Bear

This is another good one, a really solid gummy bear-style vape. It leans more toward the tropical fruit flavors. There’s definitely a hint of pineapple and sharp sweet orange in there that comes through. As with most gummy flavors, it’s hard to distinguish each fruit flavor, but it is a really nice blend. It also doesn’t go too full on the candy taste; it’s balanced just right, along with a tiny amount of cooling to give it a fresh lift.

Strawberry Ice Cream

If you like your creamy vapes, then you’ll probably love this one. It is a very good balance of the deep creamy, almost silky ice cream with the perfect notes of sweet natural strawberry. Unlike others of this flavor profile, it has very good control over the sweetness. Which means it doesn’t get too sickly too soon. Again it has just the right amount of cooling just to freshen the exhale. It’s a really good strawberry ice cream vape.

Grape Ice

I often find grape-flavored vapes go a little too heavy on the sweetness and can end up tasting a little unnatural and get too sickly. This is a really mellowed grape-flavored vape. It has the right amount of sweet and floral tones throughout and can easily be an all-day style vape. It has a little more cooling to it than some of the others, which is particularly present on the exhale. It works well and makes for a refreshing and pleasant experience.

Performance:

Let me start this by saying I really like the vape quality from the Wotofo Skuare 6000s and enjoyed using them.

However, I feel like as you get further along on the vape (lower than half juice capacity), it tends to lose performance a bit. I don’t mean from the battery, but it’s like the coil is already getting a little bogged down and gunked up. I experienced it with most of the Skuare’s, (but not all) as I was getting lower than half liquid capacity.

I know it’s a 1.2Ω coil, but it doesn’t have the hit quite like similar ohmed disposables. I feel like it could’ve benefited from a slightly lower resistance coil, even just a 1.0. After all, you are using your own 18650, which can have a high capacity, so battery life shouldn’t be much of an issue.

I really like that it’s a tight MTL draw. It verges on more of a true MTL vape than other disposables I’ve tried. However, I wonder if it will be too tight for vapers who are used to other disposables or prefer a looser MTL.

While I wasn’t a fan of the Apple Sour flavor, these rest from the Skuare 6000 range were very tasty indeed. Wotofo seems to have quite a selection of flavors within this range, and most of them sound great to me.

Verdict

There’s much to love about Wotofo’s approach to disposables with the Skuare 6000. I was already a fan of this form factor. So the ability to have a disposable like this that utilizes my own battery is great. It’s also a far better method for the environment, as you are not constantly disposing of batteries.

I also like the tight MTL draw that the Skuare 6000 delivers. However, I feel it might be a little too tight for others.

Where I’m a little let down is the consistency of the vape throughout the 15ml of juice. I feel like the Skuare could do with just a little more power to push through. Hopefully, Wotofo will offer some different resistance coils as this would certainly help.

All that being said, these are still great little disposables that I’ve thoroughly enjoyed using. They are certainly worth a try if they come in at an affordable price. I know I will keep a couple around for times when I don’t want to use my main devices.
