Zoor Pod Mod by Daze
ZOOR is an ultraportable closed pod system design by 7 Daze MFG in Los Angeles. It features a 500mAh internal battery, micro USB charging, and 2ml capacity pods that utilize ceramic coils.
Amidst so many pod mods with similar features, it’s important to standout on the design front. Fortunately, that’s exactly what 7 Daze have done with the unique, modern looking ZOOR.
But, will it’s premium looks have the performance to back it up?
Sleek modern design, excellent flavor from the pods, with a smooth MTL experience and decent throat hit.
Only a small range of flavors available.
The Bottom Line
The ZOOR performs just as good as it looks. It is a well built, compact device with excellent battery life, and the flavor produced by the ceramic coils in the pods is outstanding. Our favorite closed pod system currently on the market.

You certainly won’t be mistaking this pod mod for any other on the market – it not only has a unique name but an individual modern shape.
The ZOOR is beautifully designed, with soft curvature all-around and a comfortable grip section.
It very rare that we’re all equally impressed by the design of a device from a lesser known manufacturer.
Hands down one of the best looking and feeling pod mods on the market.
It looks similar to a high-end key car with its flat bullet-like shape, and also has the same weighty quality feel to it.
The smooth matte almost rubber center provides a nice grip and is perfectly surrounded by gloss black plastic.
The branding is also non-obtrusive, and the LED light ideally placed.
Overall a very cool sleek looking device.
The build quality of the ZOOR is also excellent. It feels far more premium than some other flimsy pod mods on the market.
The zinc alloy of the battery and plastic of the pods goes together well.
Even though the ZOOR is a little weightier than some of its competitors, it’s not too heavy.
It’s short stature also makes it easy to carry, and it can even comfortably fit in a shirt pocket, along with a spare pod.
While there’s nothing innovative about the ceramic coils used or the way the device functions, I have to give kudos to 7 Daze for a unique design.
It would’ve been easy for them to imitate other designs and shapes on the market. Instead, they have come up with a modern premium looking device that also feels great in the hand.
The ZOOR comes with a 500mAh built-in battery and features a voltage based output system with current and overdraw protection.
It has the same draw-activated firing mechanism as most other pod mods on the market, with an excellent sensitive switch.
It also has a gold-plated magnetic connection between the battery and pods.
Thankfully the ZOOR doesn’t require a proprietary cable for charging, as it features a micro USB port neatly positioned on the bottom of the device.
It also comes with a neat looking tangle free USB cable in the box.
I didn’t get the chance to measure charging time from dead, but it did seem fairly snappy. It’s also capable of vape while charging.
The LED indicator on the ZOOR is small but bright and is positioned just beneath the logo on the front matte section of the device.
However, it’s not the easiest to gauge battery level with. Apart from the normal activating while firing, there are only 3 other indicators shown:
- Full Charge (while charging): LED blinks 20 times
- Overdraw Protection: LED blinks 2 times
- Low Charge: LED changes Red
I would have like to have seen an amber color or something when you were at 50%, but at least it does notify you when it’s time to charge.
I love the pods for the ZOOR.
They are made of plastic and taper to a smooth bullet tip which feels great in the mouth.
They come with cool colored caps to help identify the flavored liquid inside, and so you can easily carry a spare.
When fresh, they also have a little ‘open’ sticker over the juice hole to prevent any leaking.
The pods are 2ml capacity and fit securely into the battery through strong magnets. There is an ever so slight wiggle to them when they are in place; it’s not something that will bother you while vaping though.
My only slight gripe with the pods is because they are tinted black, it’s quite hard to see your remaining juice level unless you remove them from the device. I guess it keeps the ZOOR looking stylish all in black.
The ZOOR pods use ceramic coils, which helps with the excellent flavor (we’ll get onto that later)
They wick perfectly and even when juice levels are low, and I’ve not had the slightest sign of a dry hit.
Normally with closed system pods, you do tend to get a little bit of juice or condensation build up between the battery and the pod.
The ZOOR pods to my recollection have not had a single drop, so I’d say these pods are pretty leak-free.
The pods have a 2ml capacity which is good for a pod mod – but even better is just how long they last.
It must be down to the ceramic coil being gentle on the liquid, but these pods seem to last forever – really impressive.
The success of a closed pod mod system can normally be determined by the flavor range that’s available, and the quality of those flavors.
7 Daze have decided to keep it simple with only 4 flavors available, but they are all quite tasty flavors.
Each pod comes in 5% (50mg) nicotine level with a nicotine salt base.
Here’s my quick take on them below:
Absolutely delicious, not only one of the best apple flavors I’ve tried, probably the best flavor I’ve ever had from a pod mod.
Kind of a mixed fruit hard candy, ok but not quite as defined as the apple flavor.
Tastes like a luxurious caramel cake, not too overpowering but still full of flavor.
A really solid mint flavor, on par with any other mint flavor I’ve tried in a pod mod.
Even though I’m impressed with the flavors 7 Daze have for the ZOOR pods; I really hope they add a few more to the range. They currently don’t even have a tobacco flavor.
Also, it would be good to have different nicotine levels; not everybody wants to vape at 5%.
I was actually blown away by just how good the ZOOR pod mod performed, and in all honesty, I wasn’t expecting it.
The battery fires instantly on the draw, the airflow is smooth, and there’s a really good throat hit from all of the pods.
Furthermore, the flavors are excellent, and the pods have an exceptional lifespan.
The ZOOR may not have the tightest of MTL lungs draws especially compared to something like the Phix, but it is still a stiff draw.
It does have very smooth airflow and is capable of producing a decent amount of vapor for a pod mod.
I notice a small amount of condensation build up on the base of the pods, and a tiny amount of juice.
It wasn’t enough to affect the performs of the firing switch, but it is something to be aware of if you are using the device heavily. I quick wipe with a tissue should prevent any problems though.
The flavor you get from the ZOOR pods is just outstanding, better than any other pod mod I have tried to date.
It seems to come from the combination of the juice they use, the ceramic coils and the smooth, consistent draw from the device.
I seriously couldn’t get enough of the green apple pod; it truly is impressive.
The ZOOR comes with a 500mAh internal battery, which is almost double the amount of some stick style pod mods, yet it’s still packaged in such a conveniently compact device.
That leads to the ZOOR having good battery life for a pod mod, it’s not going to last you days, but I happily took it out all day vaping without worrying about being near a charger.
- Excellent stylish design
- Flavor is exceptional for a pod mod
- Great build quality
- Good lifespan of pods
- Pods wick perfectly & hit consistently
- Smooth MTL draw
- No leaking
- Magnetic connections are decent
- Long-lasting battery
- Not the greatest range of flavors
- Only one level of nicotine – 5%
7 Daze has come out of nowhere and got me all in a daze with the ZOOR.
I knew the device looked great, but I genuinely wasn’t expecting it to perform as excellently as it did.
The ZOOR is unquestionably the best closed pod system I have tried to date, and I’ve tried a lot!
It’s well built, stylish, compact and the flavor produced from the pods is truly sumptuous.
They may not currently have the greatest range of flavors, but I’m sure that’s something they will add to over time.
I’m so happy with mine I’ve already placed two orders for more green apple pods.
