The Dragbar B5000 Cosmic Edition is Zovoo’s latest entry into the high-capacity disposable market.

The Cosmic Edition comes in the same design and form factor as the original B5000, with just a few color tweaks. 

It features 13ml of pre-filled vape juice with either 50 or 20mg nicotine strength.

The B5000 Cosmic Edition has a 500mAh internal battery and can be recharged via USB Type C. 

It features an upgraded mesh coil, and like its predecessor, it can deliver up to 5000 puffs per bar.

The original B5000 made it into our best disposable vapes list; will it be the same for the Cosmic Edition?

There are currently 10 flavors in the Dragbar B5000 Cosmic Edition range.

Design

I was a massive fan of the original Dragbar B5000 design and styling. 

The Cosmic Edition thankfully follows with practically the same design. However, there are a few differentiating aspects of the overall look of the new version.

Sadly, Zovoo has done away with the single-color matte finish I loved on the original. They have instead opted for a more funky combination to befit the Cosmic name better.

The Cosmic Edition B5000 now has a glossy finish, and all the flavors come in a gradient, two-tone design. They’ve still managed to select some striking color combinations. But some work better than others, and I preferred the more subtle look of the original.

As for everything else on the disposable’s exterior, it’s the same and even has the exact dimensions, 79.6x44x22.6mm.

There’s still the clear crystal mouthpiece tip, which is exceptionally comfortable to use.

The USB-C port for charging and the LED light to show when it’s active are still found on the base.

Compared to the original, the one significant change on the B5000 CE comes in the internals with an upgraded mesh coil. So let’s see if it actually boosts the vape performance.

Flavors

Blueberry Smoothie

Opening the Blueberry Smoothie has the aroma of a creamy blend of juicy blueberries and rich, velvety smoothie goodness.

The flavor profile is a delicious mix of juicy blueberries and a velvety smoothie base. When inhaling, you can taste the freshness and tanginess of the blueberries, which is lovely. Some may prefer the Blueberry flavor to be slightly more pronounced, but I appreciate its natural blend.

The smoothie base plays on the exhale, adding a creamy and indulgent texture. It rounds out the flavor and gives it that dessert-like quality I love. The vapor production is also quite impressive and adds to the overall experience.

Grape Ice

The flavor profile blends sweet and juicy grapes with a chilly menthol finish. When inhaling, you can taste the grape, which is very sweet and fruity. However, the grape flavor could be more robust to give it more depth and complexity.

The menthol comes into play on the exhale, adding a nice cooling effect to the mix. The menthol is noticeable; it doesn’t overshadow the grape flavor but is still a little too much for my liking. Nevertheless, the vapor production is quite good, and the menthol gives it a fresh kick. 

The Grape Ice flavor will suit those who enjoy fruity and menthol vapes. It’s a refreshing option and could be a great all-day vape for some. 

Pineapple Coconut

The flavor profile mixes sweet and tangy pineapple with creamy and nutty coconut notes. When inhaling, you can taste the pineapple, which is very juicy and flavorful. The coconut flavor is also present but less intense than the pineapple.

The coconut flavor becomes more prominent on the exhale, giving the vape a creamy and nutty finish. Combining the two flavors creates a nice balance of sweet and savory notes.

Overall, Pineapple Coconut is an excellent choice for those who enjoy tropical and fruity vapes. The combination of sweet pineapple and creamy coconut creates a unique and enjoyable flavor that I could vape all day. The vapor production is decent, and the overall experience is a tropical treat. 

Strawberry Kiwi

The flavor profile combines sweet and tart kiwi with a hint of strawberry and a strong menthol finish. When inhaling, the kiwi flavor is noticeable and dominates the flavor profile. On the other hand, the strawberry flavor is more subtle and adds a nice hint of sweetness.

The menthol comes into play on the exhale, adding a strong cooling effect. The menthol is noticeable and could be overpowering for some, but it works well with the kiwi and strawberry flavors.

The vapor production is quite good, and the menthol gives it a nice kick. The overall experience is refreshing and could be an excellent option for those who like a refreshing fruity vape.

Raspberry Lemon

The flavor profile combines tart raspberry and zesty lemon with a strong menthol finish. When inhaling, the raspberry and lemon flavors are subtle and not very pronounced. However, they add a nice hint of sweetness and tartness to the overall flavor.

The menthol rush takes over as you exhale, bringing a refreshing and invigorating coolness to the flavor profile. The menthol adds a bold and icy kick that may be overpowering for some and was too much for me. However, it does complement the fresh raspberry and lemon notes.

The vapor production is impressive, creating thick, aromatic clouds that add to the overall experience. This is definitely a flavor for those that love their disposable vapes icy with a touch of summer fruits. 

Performance

I was a massive fan of the original, as seen in our Dragbar B5000 review here.

Thankfully it’s much the same with the new B5000 Cosmic Edition, it’s a cracking disposable range, and Zovoo keeps knocking it out of the park.

However, there are a few things to note about the performance difference.

Firstly the upgraded or improved mesh coil does make a difference, especially with the amount of vapor produced by the disposable. It also seems to fire a little faster, but that might be a by-product of it heating quicker with the mesh coil.

I would say that it would produce a slightly warmer vape experience. However, the flavors we had to test were all heavy on the cooling agent. I actually found the Grape Ice and Raspberry Lemon to be too overpowering on the menthol effect.

However, if you love a blast of Ice and a lot of vapor, you will love them.

On the other hand, the two flavors that were a little more subtle with the cooling were possibly two of the best I’ve tried from Zovoo and the entire Dragbar range – The Pineapple Coconut and Blueberry Smoothie flavors I could honestly vape on all day, and never get sick of them.

The B5000 CE was a decent lifespan, and it will get you very close to the advertised 5000 puffs per disposable. The 500mAh battery does a good job also and has average charge times as expected from a disposable.

Verdict

The Dragbar B5000 CE continues on from its excellent siblings, delivering a great vape experience from a disposable.

The upgraded mesh coil doesn’t make an amazing transformative difference, but it definitely does step things up in the vapor department.

The flavor range on the Cosmic Edition is more exciting than a traditional range, and there are some excellent options in there.

However, those that come with an Ice or cooling effect do lean a little heavily on it, and it’s more apparent than with the original B5000 because of that upgraded mesh coil.

Overall the B5000 CE is another excellent disposable range from Zovoo.
