Design & Build Quality

Yes, finally, a disposable vape that’s not just a boring colored box.

How cool does this thing look? It’s like some kind of futuristic mini-dive tank.

You’ve got two cylinders, one slightly larger than the other one.

The smaller chamber houses the battery, and you’ve got the USB-C charge port underneath and the LED display on top.

I love that the display is at the top so you can even see your battery percentage when you are vaping.

It has a cool animated circle that swooshes around the numbers (not the easiest thing to catch on camera!)

What about a juice level indicator, you say?

Well, there’s no need for one! Just look at the other chamber; you get a clear view of your juice.

This is the first disposable I’ve come across where you can see all of your juice (well, first with this capacity).

Not only does it look cool to see your juice swishing around in the huge tank, but it’s obviously going to be far more accurate than a digital gauge.

And that’s not even the best part!

When you take a vape, the whole juice chamber lights up.

There are some cool and bright neon lights in the bottom section that light up the juice. It’s done in such a cool way that you see the neon light reflecting off the top layer of the juice.

Again I’m not sure my pictures will do it justice… But it’s very cool and reminds me of a lava lamp or something.

If you’re not into fancy neon lights or want to use the ARC DC16000 more stealthily, you can.

You have to take 3 quick inhales and the lights will switch off. Do the same again to reactivate them.

While that sounds easy, it can be a bit tricky to do it quick enough to get it to work.

But I’m happy with the implementation because it keeps the device looking stylish with no need for buttons.

The only button (or switch) you do have is for the airflow. And even that’s done in a cool way.

It’s a rotating dial that’s either completely locked (no holes), with one air hole open, or two.

It has a nice tactile click and is the best implementation I’ve seen in a disposable.

You can get a restricted DL with two holes and with one air hole open; it is what I would call a medium/tight MTL.

Wrapping up on the design, I like the clear, slender mouthpiece. It fits the whole look of the device and feels super comfortable to use.

It’s also worth mentioning that despite its two-cylinder design, the DC16000 is still comfortable to hold and small enough to be concealed in the palm.

Overall, I’m pretty smitten with the ARC DC16000’s funky design. It’s unique, fun, and almost everything you’d want on a disposable—except for adjustable power. However, I can also see how some might find it a little too flashy.

Paradise Sunrise

Paradise Sunrise is like a tropical vacation in your mouth but with a weird plot twist. It’s got a mix of exotic fruity flavors that I can’t quite put my finger on, and there’s this odd aftertaste that might be mint or something else entirely. It’s like a mystery cocktail that you’re not sure if you love or hate. I’m very undecided on this one.

Watermelon Ice

Now, this is more like it! Watermelon Ice is a flavor that’s hard to mess up, and ARC nails it. The watermelon is juicy and authentic; on the inhale, it’s like biting into a fresh slice. The cooling effect is perfectly balanced, making it refreshing without freezing your throat up. This is a refreshing and enjoyable watermelon vape.

Pink Lemonade

Wow…now this is a hell of a mouthwatering lemonade vape. The lemon is spot-on without tasting like cleaning products, and there’s a subtle hint of strawberry that takes it to the next level. The balance between the two flavors is perfect, and again, the cooling ice effect makes it refreshing without killing the flavor. Easily my favorite in this range.

Blueberry Watermelon

I’ve gotta hand it to ARC for this unexpected duo. Blueberry Watermelon is like a flavor matchmaker that you never knew you needed. The deep, rich blueberry and the sweet, juicy watermelon are perfectly balanced, with a touch of cooling that ties it all together. It’s a simple blend of two fruits that keeps me coming back for more.

Blue Razz Ice

Blue Razz Ice is a classic flavor that ARC absolutely nails. The blue raspberry is sweet and tangy, and it’s all natural tasting goodness. The ice effect is more pronounced in this one, especially on the exhale. But it works perfectly with the fruity flavor. If you’re a fan of blue raspberry, this one’s a no-brainer.

The ARC DC 16000 has surprised me not only with its fun, funky design but also with the flavor it can deliver.

I wasn’t particularly a fan of the Paradise Sunrise, but there’s always one like that in a disposable range. Others may like the weird fruity mix, but it wasn’t for me.

However, all of the others were on point. Especially the Pink Lemonade.

The one common thing about the ARC range flavors is that they all tasted authentic, with the right balance of cooling, and not too sweet.

Are they the best-tasting disposables I’ve tried?

To be honest, I’d have to try more of the range, as 5 is not quite enough to compare.

But based on the ones I’ve tested, it’s right up there with something like the Geekvape Pulse or the Nexa that I recently reviewed.

The dual mesh coil does a fantastic job of delivering punchy flavor right from the inhale. The auto-draw trigger is instant and never fails.

The airflow on the DC 16000 is great and covers both MTL and RDL. I prefer to keep it with both air holes open for a super loose draw.

Where the ARC falls short is not being able to up the power when you are in this mode.

I didn’t think I’d say this about a disposable, but after testing so many with power adjustment, I kind of missed it.

Where the DC 16000 shines, though, is with its design. The combination of the LED screen and the ability to actually see your liquid swish around in the lights is awesome.

The battery lasts well over a day, and the charge time is relatively short, at under an hour. Oh, and you get a cool swirling animation while it’s charging.

I’ve loved my time testing these disposables. I love the way they look, how they function, and most importantly, the vape quality they deliver.

The only thing I’d change is to make them available in 2% nicotine strength and perhaps with adjustable power for those who want it.

  • Sleek and compact design
  • Excellent build quality
  • Innovative EM-LOCK system prevents leaking
  • Fantastic flavor from both 0.6Ω & 0.9Ω pods
  • Variable airflow options
  • Impressive 900mAh battery capacity
  • Fast 2A Type-C charging (35 minutes from empty to full)
  • Clear pods and e-juice window for easy e-liquid monitoring
  • Responsive draw activation

  • Only available in 5% nicotine strength
  • Airflow is only adjustable with power
  • Display screen graphics could be improved

If you can’t tell by now, I’m a huge fan of the ARC DC 16000’s flashy, funky design.

It’s not just about being different for the sake of it; most of the design quirks add to the experience.

It’s so much better to be able to see your juice level physically than to have an inaccurate reading on a screen.

And while some may find the lights a bit too much….I love them. It’s like a mini disco in your hand.

I also love the flavor that it delivers, and the majority of the range I tested was great. Especially the Pink Lemonade.

Overall, I highly recommend the ARC DC16000 to any vaper looking for a high-performance disposable that doesn’t sacrifice style or flavor.

Just be prepared to turn some heads when you’re using it in public – this thing is a conversation starter!
