Lost Vape Lightrise Review

Product Description

The Lost Vape Lightrise TB 18K is a feature-packed disposable vape that offers an impressive 18,000 puff capacity, thanks to its generous 18ml e-juice capacity and rechargeable 700mAh battery.

The Lightrise TB 18K offers three different power levels – regular, boost, and turbo – which can be easily switched using the innovative touch-screen button.

The device also boasts a large, colorful LED display that shows the current battery level, e-juice level, and the selected power mode.

It also offers adjustable airflow, covering draws from a tight mouth-to-lung (MTL) to a restricted direct-to-lung (RDTL) vape.

The Lost Vape Lightrise TB 18K comes in 5% (50mg) nicotine strength and is available in 15 flavors.

Lost Vape Lightrise

Design & Build Quality

I’ve been quite a fan of the last Lost Vape disposables we’ve tested, such as the Orion Bar 10000 and the OB5500.

They’ve offered excellent performance in quite a compact form factor. However, I was always a little put off by the bright ‘look at me’ designs.

That’s why the Lightrise TB 18K immediately impressed me when I got my hands on one.

Not only is it incredibly compact for its capacity, but it also has a far more sophisticated and elegant design.

The Lightrise is surprisingly small, measuring just 85mm in height, 52mm in width, and 30mm in depth. This is especially true considering its 18ml e-juice capacity and 700mAh battery.

Lost Vape Lightrise

At only 80g, it’s incredibly portable and easy to carry around, making it perfect for on-the-go vaping.

The Lightrise TB 18K features a sleek and eye-catching design with a box-mod style and gradient color scheme that matches the flavor you’re vaping.

The branding is minimal and tasteful, with the device name, flavor profile, and “Powered by Lost Vape” printed in small lettering on the front. While it’s not the most discreet disposable out there, it strikes a nice balance between style and subtlety.

One of the most impressive aspects of the Lightrise TB 18K’s design is the large, full-color LED display screen on the right side of the device.

It’s one of the best displays I’ve seen on a disposable vape. It has a bright, clear, and easy-to-read interface that shows the current power mode, battery level, and remaining e-juice. There’s even a fun little animation that plays when you take a puff, adding a nice touch of personality to the device.

The touch-screen button at the top of the LED display is another unique feature, allowing you to switch between the three power modes – regular, boost, and turbo – with a gentle press.

While the touch-screen is responsive and works well most of the time, I found it too sensitive at times, accidentally changing the power setting when I didn’t mean to.

Lost Vape tried to account for this by including a locking feature. You hold the touch button down for 3 seconds to lock/unlock it to help prevent unintended adjustments.

However, where the button is positioned, I’d accidentally place my finger over it while vaping and end up unlocking the device. Then, I’d accidentally boost the power.

It’s probably more of a me problem. As I’m used to concealing smaller vapes in the palm of my hand. But it’s something to be aware of.

Build quality is generally good, with a polycarbonate shell that feels solid and well-made. However, after carrying them around for a few weeks, I noticed a few minor scratches on some of the devices, so it may not be the most durable option out there.

The adjustable airflow slider on the bottom of the device works well, allowing you to customize your draw from a tight MTL to a looser RDTL. Although, it’s worth noting that you won’t be able to achieve a true direct-to-lung (DTL) draw even with the airflow fully open.

Overall, the Lost Vape Lightrise TB 18K boasts an impressive design and solid build quality, with a compact and lightweight body, eye-catching color schemes, and a fantastic LED display screen.

While the touch-screen button can be a bit too sensitive at times, and the polycarbonate shell may be prone to minor scratches, these are relatively minor issues in the grand scheme of things.

The Lightrise TB 18K is a well-designed and well-built disposable vape that’s sure to turn heads and provide a satisfying vaping experience.

Flavors

Lost Vape Lightrise Grape Burst

Grape Burst

The Grape Burst is an incredibly juice-intense grape experience. It’s deep, rich, and luscious, offering an authentic grape taste that will more than satisfy fans of this classic flavor. I was pleased to find that there’s very little ice in this one, allowing the natural sweetness of the grape to shine through. While it may not be my personal favorite, there’s no denying that Lost Vape has crafted a truly delightful grape vape flavor here.

Lost Vape Lightrise Cool Mint

Cool mint

If you’re a fan of menthol or minty vapes, the Cool mint flavor is definitely worth checking out. It’s like popping a fresh mint in your mouth, with a crisp and refreshing taste that really wakes up your senses. The cooling effect is more pronounced, giving it an extra burst of icy freshness compared to other flavors in the range. Overall, it’s a solid mint flavor that menthol lovers are sure to enjoy.

Lost Vape Lightrise Watermelon Kiwi Berries

Watermelon Kiwi Berries

Watermelon Kiwi Berries flavor is a delightfully unique and complex blend of fruits. The watermelon and kiwi take center stage, with the berries playing a supporting role to add depth and nuance to the overall flavor profile. It all comes together in a juicy and refreshing vape that’s perfect for summer days or whenever you’re in the mood for something a little different. The cooling effect is subtle and perfectly balanced, adding just the right amount of freshness without overpowering the natural sweetness of the fruits. It’s one of my personal favorites from the Lightrise TB 18K range.

Lost Vape Lightrise Berry Starburst

Berry Starburst

Berry Starburst is a decent berry mix that offers a natural tasting experience. However, I found myself wishing for a little more punch and sweetness from the berries, as the overall flavor profile seemed somewhat mellow. The ice effect is also a bit more noticeable in this one, which may be contributing to the slightly subdued sweetness. It’s not a bad flavor by any means, but it didn’t quite live up to my expectations compared to some of the other standout options in the range.

Lost Vape Lightrise Watermelon Ice

Watermelon Ice

Watermelon Ice is a classic flavor combination that’s hard to mess up, and Lost Vape definitely nails it with their version here. The watermelon taste is spot-on, offering a natural and refreshing sweetness that’s perfectly balanced with a crisp, cooling ice effect. It’s a simple but effective flavor that’s always a crowd-pleaser. If you’re a fan of watermelon flavors, this one is definitely worth trying out.

Lost Vape Lightrise Sour Apple Ice

Sour Apple Ice

Sour Apple Ice is possibly one of the most authentic sour apple experiences I’ve had in a vape. The apple taste is deep and natural, with a genuine sourness that doesn’t veer into artificial or mouth-puckering territory. The ice effect is present but subtle, adding a nice touch of coolness that complements the sour apple flavor without overwhelming it. If you’re a fan of sour apple candy or just looking for a unique and refreshing vape, this one is definitely worth checking out.

Performance

As I mentioned before, I’ve been a huge fan of the performance of the last few Lost Vape disposables I’ve tested.

With the Lightrise TB 18K, they have stepped things up even further.

The flavor production from each of the disposables I tested was exceptional.

The thing I love most about their blends is that they lean more toward the mellow style of vaping but still manage to pack a punch of flavor.

There are no overly sweet artificial tastes, and they are not flooded with cooling agents.

The mesh coil does a great job at delivering instantly on the inhale, and the vape is consistent throughout.

There were a few excellent flavors in the range that really shone with each nuance of flavor and complex note coming through – like the Watermelon Kiwi Berries and Sour Apple Ice.

The only one I wasn’t completely sold on was the Berry Starburst. It wasn’t bad, but it just blended into mediocrity for me.

The adjustable airflow works perfectly on the Lightrise. It allows you to get an incredibly tight MTL draw (which other disposables seem to negate) all the way to a restricted DTL.

The airflow slider also stays in position well.

I really like the LED screen. It’s crisp and bright and gives you all the information you need.

One thing to note is that when you charge the device, you can never get the battery meter to 100% – it only goes to 99% because of the screen real estate.

I’m less of a fan of the touch button. It’s different and very responsive, but it’s just a little too responsive for my liking.

I think maybe it would’ve been better served using a physical button.

The ‘Boost’ power adjustments work well; you can tell the difference between each setting, but they are quite subtle.

The settings are as follows:

  • Boost 1 = 3.0v
  • Boost 2 = 3.2v
  • Boost 3 = 3.4v

I mainly kept the Lightrise’s in setting 1, as it delivers plenty of power and flavor in this setting.

If you do venture to Boost mode 3, just be aware that you limit your battery capacity, which will bring down that puff count.

Personally, I don’t think the trade-off is worth it. But if you are crazy enough to only want to vape 5% nic in restricted DTL – then at least the setting is there.

In terms of battery life, the Lightrise’s 700mAh cell is more than capable of enduring a full day of moderate to heavy vaping.

Lost Vape Lightrise

Recharging the Lightrise isn’t the quickest. It only supports 0.5A charging, and I timed it around 90 minutes for a full charge.

There’s also no passthrough support, so you can’t vape it while charging. Which is a bit of a bummer.

I did manage to get a full puff count from one of the disposables. IT came in at 16,232. Which is a little shy of the advertised 18,000.

However, I did adjust the power a couple of times. Of course, your inhale puff time will also affect it. So, I think that’s a pretty good result for such a compact disposable.

It’s also worth noting the draw activation on the Lightrise is responsive and consistent, with no noticeable lag or misfires. I didn’t experience any issues with dry hits or burnt tastes throughout my testing, even when the liquid was on its last legs.

Overall, the Lost Vape Lightrise TB 18K disposable delivers top-notch performance across the board.

  • Outstanding flavor production
  • Compact and lightweight design
  • Adjustable airflow for MTL to RDL draws

Verdict

Lost Vape Lightrise

The Lightrise TB 18K is another triumph of disposable from Lost Vape.

The flavor production is among the best I’ve experienced from a disposable, and Lost Vape’s flavor range is always on point.

The adjustable airflow and power settings work well for a tailored experience.

The large, informative LED display screen and long-lasting battery are just

The icing on the cake is that all this comes in such a compact and sleek design that almost achieves its high-capacity ratings.

My only gripe is that the touch-screen power adjustment button can be a bit too sensitive, leading to accidental setting changes. And it is prone to picking up scratches. If you’re in the market for a high-quality, feature-packed disposable that doesn’t skimp on flavor or performance, the Lightrise TB 18K is definitely worth checking out.
