Aspire Speeder 200W Kit Intro

There are plenty of dual 18650 mods on the market, now Aspire hope to change things up with the release of the Aspire Speeder 200W kit. It is a dual 18650 setup with a couple of features that hope to help it stand out in the crowd.
The rubberized finish of the Aspire Speeder may have you deceived into thinking it was just designed as a robust and practical device. It even resembles a two-way radio with its symmetrical rounded edges. It doesn’t quite hit the power of its peers, only going up to 200 watts. However, it does have plenty of features that might make it the best choice for you. Let’s take a look in more detail…

Will it Speed past the competition?

Aspire Speeder 200W Kit

The Aspire Speeder comes with all of the standard features you would expect in a dual 18650 mod, plus a few Aspire extras. For example, it has all the common modes; wattage, voltage, temp control, TCR, and bypass, but it also comes with customizable heating curves, similar to that featured on the Vaporesso OMNI 2.0 chipset. However, the Speeder also boasts a 0.96″ auto-adjusting OLED screen which sets it apart from Vaporesso’s Revenger and most of the other dual-battery mods on the market. The Speeder is also Aspire’s first mod to ditch the standard firing button in exchange of a lateral fire key.
The Aspire Speeder kit comes with a brand new tank named the Athos. The tank looks like it is set to compete with Smok’s popular cloud Beast series. It comes with both a 0.3 ohm triple coil, and a 0.16 ohm hexadecimal coil. The Athos is available in 4ml and a TPD compliant 2ml version. Both of which come with two drip tip options.
The Speeder mod also features individual monitoring of each 18650 battery cell, and a spring-loaded, gold-plated 510 connection.
The kit is currently available in three colors: Black, Gold and Silver, and includes the mod and matching tank.
We are looking forward to seeing whether the Aspire Speeder combo has the potential to overtake its competitors in a congested market.
