The Blotto family by Dovpo was created in conjunction with The Vaping Bogan and includes the Blotto Mini, Blotto Single Coil, and the most recent Blotto Max.
The new Blotto V1.5 is not a complete redesign but rather an incremental upgrade. It seems Dovpo has listened to customer feedback and addressed some of the main points.
The most significant of which comes with changes to the build deck.
The deck is designed for dual coil builds and features a center-slotted airflow and posts that have honeycomb airflow holes.
The original Blotto had hollow airflow posts with a rear insulator; the new version is all-metal construction.
There have also been improvements made by strengthening the base and airflow adjustment ring – As this seemed to raise a few issues previously.
Dovpo also mentions improvements have been made to the juice well/wick ports design.
Another significant change comes with the size of the RTA, and it now measures 26mm in diameter but is only 44.5mm tall. This is significantly shorter than the original, which was 54.5mm high with a 25.5mm diameter.
This shorter RTA should lead to increased flavor, as there is less distance from vapor to travel from the coil to the mouthpiece.
The Blotto 1.5 RTA has an increased 6.4ml juice capacity (included bubble glass) or 3.5ml (straight glass).
There’s a top fill system, which is achieved by unscrewing the top cap.
Dovpo is also generous with the spares. Along with the usual, you also get a coil trimming guide and even a bottle opener tool!

I don’t think I’ve been disappointed by any atomizer with the Blotto name to it. They have always been bang on for flavor and vapor production.
The Vaping Bogan knows he’s stuff, and he wouldn’t put his name to anything that he didn’t deliver a great vape experience.
I’m impressed that Dovpo and Bogan have decided to take on customer feedback and make improvements without going back to the drawing board.
I like the changes they have made to the build deck and airflow. Again they are just subtle adjustments that could lead to a better overall experience.
The new shorter design will definitely see a flavor improvement on an already great flavor delivering RTA.
Just how good it will be, we will have to wait until lucky folks get their hands on it.
