The Dragbar B3500 is the latest disposable vape from one of the frontrunners in the disposable market – Zovoo.
The B3500 has an aesthetic different from previous Dragbars and comes with a transparent shell.
It is powered by a 500mAh battery with a 1.0Ω mesh coil inside. It has 8ml of prefilled juice, which is 50mg (5%) nicotine salt.
The B3500 also has a large digital screen displaying the remaining battery and e-liquid levels. The Dragbar B3500 also has USB-C recharging and is available in 15 flavors.
- Good build quality
- LCD screen (shows battery & juice level)
- 13ml of juice
- Up to 3500 puffs
- Rechargeable 500mAh battery (Type-C charging)
- Excellent flavor production
- Smooth airflow
- Good auto-draw trigger
- Decent battery life
- Consistent vape from 1.0Ω coils
- Not the most appealing design (subjective)
- Only available in 50mg
- No airflow adjustment
The Bottom Line
The Dragbar B3500 is an excellent disposable. It delivers fantastic flavor from the 1.0Ω mesh coil. It also has smooth airflow and excellent auto-draw. The LCD screen enhances the whole experience; seeing your juice and battery level is a godsend. I’m not overly infatuated with the design, and I wish it was a bit more subtle. However, the B3500 delivers where it counts, performance.
Design & Build Quality
I honestly have to start this review with immense disappointment in this latest Dragbar disposable.
I was a fan of the simplistic and minimalist design of all of the previous Dragbars. They were bright, and colorful and stood out from the crowd without being too toy-like in their appearance.
It seems odd to me that with the B3500, Zovoo has changed tact and copied other popular brands like Lost Vape (or even their sister company Icewave) with a tacky design behind a transparent shell.
In my eyes, it’s just not a Dragbar disposable.
I know there’s an argument to say it’s good to move away from the bright-colored disposables to make them less appealing to teenagers. Zovoo even states the retro-1980s “Boom Box” style design targets a Gen X and Millennials audience.
However, I still feel it’s just as appealing to teenagers, but now it just looks a lot worse.
I guess it was also easier for Zovoo to lean on the design (and maybe even manufacturing) of the Icewave X8500 that the same factory makes.
Throughout this review, I’m going to make plenty of comparisons with the X8500 – because, let’s face it, they are pretty much the same product, just with a slightly different shell and capacities.
They even have the exact same flavors!
The Dragbar B3500 uses an identical screen to the Icewave X8500 in the same location (bottom right). That’s not a bad thing because the screen is excellent at displaying both the juice and battery level – which is a real selling point of the device.
The battery is a percentage which seems to count down in 1% increments, while the juice is three levels in a liquid drop of different colors.
I appreciate that they needed a transparent shell to make the screen work well with the design. I just wish they did something a bit more unique, or Dragbar with the layout and looks.
Okay, slight rant over. So, what’s unique about the B3500 design?
It has a stainless steel base, which goes some way to making it look and feel a little more premium.
On the base, you’ll find the USB-C port for charging and a small airflow hole. Sadly, the B3500 does not come with adjustable airflow.
Another miss in my book, as that would’ve at least elevated it above the X8500.
There’s also a lanyard loop on the top section of the device if you are one of those disposable vapers who love dangling your vape around your neck.
The mouthpiece I have no complaints about. It’s thin enough to fit comfortably in your mouth and provide a good MTL vape.
Overall, the B3500 has excellent build quality for a disposable, and I’m sure most will probably like the design.
I’m here to tell you my opinion – and that is, I would’ve preferred a design that was in keeping with the Dragbar brand, something more minimalistic.
Thankfully, it’s not all about looks (as my partner keeps telling me). So, let’s see how the Dragbar B3500 stacks up with its performance.
I think I know how this is going to go, as I’ve already read Marc’s review of the Icewave X8500!
The Dragbar B3500 comes in 15 flavors, including a tobacco flavor.
I only had the opportunity to test 5 from the range:
The Clear Dragbar B3500 is a breath of fresh air in a world saturated with fruity and aromatic vapes. It delivers a crisp, clean hit that’s perfect for vaping all day—a must-try for those seeking a no-nonsense, refreshing experience.
This Lush Ice flavor ranks among the best I’ve tried. It offers a sweeter profile paired with a more subdued coolness. These minor adjustments make a big difference, showing how subtle changes can significantly impact your vaping experience.
Strawberry Ice Cream
Strawberry Ice Cream vape juice is a game-changer—creamy, cool, and bursting with authentic berry flavor. It’s like taking a bite out of a frozen strawberry delight with a cool finish. A must-vape for dessert lovers!
Sour Apple Dragbar B3500 is a tart sensation, blending Granny Smith’s crispness with candy-like sweetness. The cool finish is spot-on, never overpowering the apple kick. Easily one of the best sour apple ice vapes out there.
Blue Razz Ice
Blue Razz Ice Dragbar B3500 nails the iconic blue razz flavor—sweet, berry-packed, and irresistibly smooth. It’s a top-tier Blue Razz vape, no question. If you’re a fan of Blue Razz, this is one you can’t afford to miss.
I know I was a little harsh on the design of the Dragbar B3500, but when it comes to performance, there’s no faulting it really.
The flavor delivered from the 1.0Ω mesh coil is right up there – and, dare I say, is unmistakably of Dragbar quality.
The auto-draw trigger is excellent, and the flavors hit you right up front from the initial inhale.
The draw is a medium MTL, in line with most disposables on the market. As I said previously, I think Zovoo missed a trick by not including adjustable airflow.
I enjoyed all the flavors tested, especially the Lush Ice and Blue Razz Ice. Even though they have an icy kick to them, they’re not too overpowering.
I didn’t notice any flavor degradation in my testing and tried to push them to the limits.
However, 5% (50mg) of nicotine salts can sometimes get a little head-spinning. I hope Zovoo also releases these in a 2% version.
For what it’s worth, I managed to test them alongside the Icewave X8500, and they are almost identical. So if you want a greater capacity, go with that disposable.
The Dragbar B3500, on the other hand, is a bit more compact and pocket-friendly – which I prefer.
The battery life held up as well as I’d expect with a 1.0Ω coil and 500mAh cell. You’ll get through a day of moderate vaping just fine.
However, I think they may have been a bit shy of the advertised 3500 puff count. I have no way of telling precisely, as there’s no puff count on the screen, and I can’t count to 3500!
But I know how long my typical disposables last, and I was expecting a little more from these.
Ending on a positive note. I absolutely love the screen. I know it’s not unique, as lots of disposables have now implemented them.
But it just makes such a difference to your vape experience with a disposable when you know how much juice is remaining, and it seemed very accurate to me.
I honestly can’t fault the Dragbar B3500 for its performance.
It delivers fantastic flavor from the mesh coils, with smooth airflow and an excellent auto-draw trigger.
The LCD screen is a brilliant inclusion. It enhances the whole vape experience of using a disposable. It’s also very accurate in its readings.
My only negatives are more personal ones about the design. There’s nothing inherently wrong with it, but it is a far cry from previous Dragbars.
I’m also not sure it does much to prevent negative attention on the disposable market.
Next time Zovoo, stick to your roots and keep it clean.
That said, if you are looking for an excellent performing disposable, the B3500 is a great shout. If you want something with a bit more capacity, check out its larger sibling, the Icewave X8500.
