The F-Resin Pro and F-Resin Max are two new disposable vapes from Freeton.

They have a very similar elegant design, with the Max being a slightly larger device.

Both the F-Resin devices feature a 600mAh battery (rechargeable via USB Type C) and an airflow adjustment switch.

The F-Resin Pro comes with 12ml of pre-filled juice, utilizes a 1.2Ω mesh coil, and can deliver up to 4500 puffs.

While the larger F-Resin max comes with 18ml of pre-filled juice, has a 0.8Ω mesh coil, and can deliver up to 5000 puffs.

Both disposables are available with either a 2% (20mg) or 5% (50mg) strength of salt nicotine. They are currently available in 8 different flavors (see below).

Design & Style

The design and styling of the Freeton F-Resin disposables go down a more sophisticated and simple path compared to other more garish competitors in the market.

I like that they are void of loud colors and instead opt for a sleek ‘Resin’ or marble-like effect on the body. However, others may find them boring.

It’s still easy to determine what flavor the disposable device holds as it’s printed vertically in gold font along the front. This is accompanied by the Freeton logo. The gold lettering aims for a premium look, but after all, these a still just plastic disposable devices.

They are quite square devices, even though the body has a slight curvature on the edges and towards the bottom of the device. This aids in making them very comfortable to hold in the hand, but they might feel the palm a little more than their equals.

The mouthpiece is the same for both sized disposables. It is quite wide but does have a well curved body slimming down enough to make it comfortable in the mouth. I thought they might be too large to give a good MTL vape, but that’s really not the case.

This is helped by the airflow adjustment control that is found on the base of the devices. It’s an effective airflow control for a disposable, allowing you to close it down to one hole for a tight MTL or have three holes open for a loose MTL.

Also, on the base of the device, you will find the USB Type C port for charging and the LED light. The light actually sits behind the airflow holes and is white. It doesn’t change color according to battery status but will flash when low.

The only difference in design between the F-Resin Pro and F-Resin Max is the height. The Max is 109mm tall, while its smaller brother is only 97mm. The extra height accommodates 6ml more of pre-filled juice for the 0.8Ω coil. 

While there’s not too much difference in size, and the Max does have a lower resistance coil, I prefer the more compact nature of the Pro.

Rose Litchi

A delicious juicy lychee, with such a sweet and sumptuous taste. All enveloped in the most subtle rose water taste to give it real depth. Not a floral taste at all. Easily one of the best lychee flavors I’ve tried and my favorite of this range.

Gummy Bear

A typical gummy bear vape. There’s no individually distinguishable fruit flavor, just an overall fruit blend. It’s nice and sweet without being too overpowering. It has that real candy/gummy complexity to it – another solid fruity vape.

Blue Razz

A favorite of many. There is nothing too complex with this one. It’s a solid blueberry and raspberry vape with a perfect balance between the two flavors and just the right amount of cooling to bring it some freshness.

Aloe Grape

I recently tried this same flavor combination in the Flum Float, and I have to say this one is even more delicious. It has a little zing to it from the grape, with the perfect underlying tones of aloe. It’s an interesting vape and one of my favorites from this selection.

Strawberry Banana

Another common flavor blend among disposables. You can’t really go wrong with strawberries and bananas. This one definitely doesn’t disappoint. The banana is authentic and present throughout the vape, with nice sweet juicy hints of strawberry shining through.

Pink Lemonade

A really spot-on refreshing pink lemonade. They’ve managed to get a really natural tasting lemonade that’s nicely rounded off with a subtle hint of berries. It also has the perfect amount of cooling to give it a lift – ideal for a summer’s day, or any day in fact. I really enjoyed this one.

Energy Drink

I’m not the biggest fan of energy drink-flavored vapes. However, I can tell you this one is exactly like that well-known drink with wings. If you like energy drink vapes, you’ll really enjoy this one.

Cool Mint

A very good mint flavor. It’s not dry like others I’ve had before. It has quite a nice juicy sweet touch to it. Extremely refreshing, especially with an extra little bump of cooling on the exhale. If you like your mint vapes, this is a good one.

Performance

I’m really impressed with the flavors, and there’s not one that fell short of expectation. In fact, there were a few real bangers in there! Especially the ‘Rose Litchi’ and ‘Pink Lemonade.’

The devices are well made and comfortable to hold in the hand. They may lack a little pizzazz of some of the more flashy disposables. However, I like their more subdued exterior design.

The mouthpiece is comfortable to use, and although a little wide, it still delivers for a tight MTL vape. The airflow adjustment works well to move it from a tight MTL to a medium to slightly loose MTL draw. I often find disposables can be a little loose, so I’m happy with the F-Resins draw.

The batteries are also impressive with both the F-Resin disposables. They just seemed to last for days before needing a charge, even though they only have a 600mAh battery. When they do get low on power, they only slightly lose performance.

The charge time didn’t seem too bad. I think they take over an hour to charge fully, but it’s still respectable for a rechargeable disposable device.

They both do a great job at reaching the advertised puff count; they just seem to keep on going.

The F-Resin Pro does a great job with its 1.2Ω mesh coil of delivering great flavor and plenty of vapor for an MTL draw.

The F-Resin Max is a little more punchy with its 0.8Ω mesh coil, providing a slightly warmer vape and a more instant hit.

Personally, if I had to choose between the two, I’d go with the Pro as it’s more compact with a similar puff count and still delivers a great MTL vape.

The only slight negative I can mark against them is that the auto-draw trigger did have a couple of blips on one of the F-Resin Pros. It was barely noticeable, and a harder inhale soon got it going. There were no such issues with the F-Resin Max.

I think the Freeton F-Resin’s might be some of the best disposables I’ve tried recently. The flavors and general performance is great. They may not wow with the styling, but they certainly deliver on every other front.

Verdict

Overall these are both an incredibly good line of disposables. They deliver on the puff counts advertised, have really good smooth MTL draws (with adjustable airflow), and importantly come with some very impressive flavors.
