Design & Build Quality

When I first laid eyes on the Nevoks Feelin AX, I couldn’t help but be impressed by its sleek design. It’s all clean lines, smooth curves, and it has a satisfying heft in the hand.

Its aluminum alloy body balances well between lightness and robustness, coming in at 57g.

The Feelin AX is a fair bit taller than some of its competitors, measuring 120mm x 24mm x 16.4mm. But I don’t really mind that extra height in day-to-day use, especially considering it’s packing a 1500 battery (50% larger than the Xros, Caliburn, or OXVA Xlim Pro).

It’s pretty impressive that Nevoks has managed to fit in so much battery capacity.

The device is available in some really nice colors. I’ve been testing the Pearl White and Lavender Violet versions for this review. They are both real lookers.

My favorite is Pearl White. It has a subtle metallic sheen that occasionally catches the light.

Although the Lavender Violet has a really nice gradient, it’s just not my type of color. I would’ve loved to have seen the Aurora Red in person; that one looks great.

But the Feelin AX isn’t just a pretty face – it’s got brains, too.

The OLED screen on the front of the device is crisp, clear, and easy to read, even in bright sunlight. It displays all the essential info you need at a glance – wattage, battery life, resistance, puff counter – without feeling cluttered or overwhelming.

And the circular fire button just below the screen has a nice, textured surface that feels great under your finger. It’s clicky and responsive with just the right amount of resistance when you press it.

Of course, no device is perfect, and I did notice a couple of minor issues with the build quality. The airflow slider stiffness was different on both of my devices. They were both perfectly useable and stayed in place, but the Pearl White unit was a bit stiffer.

This could be down to the paint finish. It’s a small thing, but it does suggest maybe some inconsistency in the manufacturing process.

Overall, I’m really happy with the design of the Nevoks Feelin AX. It’s got the looks, it’s got the feel, and it’s got the features to back it up. Minor inconsistencies aside, this is a device that exudes quality from every angle, and it’s clear that a lot of thought and care went into building it.

Where the Nevoks Feelin AX really shines is in its features.

It’s got everything you need in a pod vape and more.

First up it has adjustable wattage, with smart wattage detection and a range of 5–30W.

There’s fully adjustable airflow that goes from tight MTL to restricted DTL.

Then there’s the large 1500mAh battery, which is excellent for such a compact device – and bigger than its competitors.

But it’s not just the battery size that’s impressive. It also supports 2A fast charging via USB Type-C. Which I clocked charging from dead to full in about 45 minutes.

The Feelin AX is also compatible with a whole host of Nevoks A1 pods, from 0.4Ω to 1.2Ω, in both 2ml and 3ml capacities. Which, in my eyes, makes it an even more appealing purchase.

How to Use It

Using the Feelin AX is a breeze:

  • Press the fire button five times in rapid succession to turn on the device.
  • Press the fire button three times to enter the wattage adjustment mode, and press the button to cycle through the available wattage options. The device will automatically limit the wattage range based on the installed pod’s resistance.
  • To lock the fire button, press it four times in quick succession. Repeat this process to unlock the device.

The Feelin AX can be used in both manual and auto-draw modes, and it’s good to see an option to lock the fire button and prevent accidental firing.

Let’s talk pods. The Feelin AX uses Nevoks A1 pods and there’s plenty of variety on offer.

They come in 0.4Ω, 0.6Ω, 0.8Ω and 1.2Ω resistances with a 3ml capacity and side filling.

Then, there’s a 0.8Ω and 1.2Ω option with a 2ml capacity and top-filling system.

In the review kits, I got:

  • 1 x 0.6Ω (3ml capacity) – 17-22W range
  • 1 x 0.8Ω (3ml capacity) – 13-16W range

Both were excellent pods. But I found myself gravitating towards the 0.6Ω pods for their perfect balance of flavor and vapor.

I also managed to get through 2 weeks of vaping with both pods, before the flavor started to decline. Which is more than respectable, considering i was using 70VG juice. However, your mileage may vary.

Filling the pods was as you’d expect with a side-fill rubber plug. Relatively easy, but if you have fat fingers like me, the rubber plug can be a bit of a pain.

I can say without hesitation that the Nevoks Feelin AX is a top performer.

That’s mainly down to the outstanding A1 pods. I remember being impressed with them before, but I think Nevoks has made some changes because these things just bang out the flavor.

I stacked them up against the Caliburn G3 pods and Vaporesso Xros pods – and man, it’s close for flavor.

I’d say the G3 has the edge over the other two, but honestly, all of them deliver an exceptional vape.

Between the two A1 pods, I was drawn to the more open and punchy 0.6Ω. This is where I think the AX has the advantage over the other pod vapes.

I normally go for the 0.8Ω on a small MTL pod vape, just to keep the battery consumption down. But with that 1500mAh battery, I could crank up the wattage with the 0.6Ω and not worry.

For me, the sweet spot with the 0.6Ω was around 20W and with the airflow halfway open. It gives you an extremely loose MTL vape with tons of warm vapor and a really punchy flavor.

It’s worth mentioning that I ran both pods with 70VG juice and had no issues with wicking, dry hits, or leaks, so that’s great.

The adjustable airflow works great on the AX, and the draw from both pods is nice and smooth.

I never had any issues with the auto-draw. It was responsive every time, without a hiccup, and it didn’t take much of a pull to activate it.

If you want to get a really tight MTL draw, you can with the 0.8Ω, with the airflow almost closed off. It’s still great in this mode, and it’s definitely a tighter draw than you can get with the Caliburn G3 and its limited airflow.

The beefy 1500mAh battery was an absolute blessing, giving me more than enough power to get through a day’s vaping.

As someone who likes to chain-vape with a bit of power, I often find myself frustrated with pod vapes that need constant recharging. But the Feelin AX is great in this regard.

If you use it solely as a low-power MTL vape, you’ll easily get two days out of it. And only 45 minutes to recharge is no time at all.

So, how does the Feelin AX stack up against the competition?

Pretty favorably, in my opinion.

While it may not quite match the raw flavor intensity of the Caliburn G3. When you factor in the Feelin AX’s superior battery life, faster charging, and more extensive airflow adjustment, it starts to look like a pretty compelling option.

At the end of the day, most of the pod vapes on the market right now are exceptional.

The Nevoks Feelin AX ticks all the right boxes and is up there with the best of them. And if you want decent battery capacity, then it should definitely be on your short list.

  • Sleek and attractive design
  • Large 1500mAh battery capacity
  • Fantastic flavor from the Nevoks A1 pods
  • Adjustable airflow
  • Fast 2A USB-C charging (45 minutes)
  • Responsive auto-draw
  • Clear OLED screen
  • Fire button lock feature
  • Wide range of Nevoks A1 pods (0.4Ω, 0.6Ω, 0.8Ω, 1.2Ω)

  • Some inconsistencies in build quality

So, where does that leave us? After putting the Nevoks Feelin AX through its paces, I can confidently say that this is a pod vape that deserves your attention.

It may not be perfect, but it gets a whole lot right, from its exceptional flavor production and adjustable airflow to its long-lasting battery and user-friendly design. If you’re in the market for a new pod vape, the Nevoks Feelin AX is definitely worth a look. Trust me you won’t be disappointed.
