The OVNS Mesh08 II may lack some of the features of more modern disposables. But it caters to vapers who want a large capacity disposable without the hassle of recharging. Its new mesh coil delivers fantastic flavor with an excellent range. The adjustable airflow can provide a tight MTL to restrictive DTL.

Design & Build Quality

The OVNS Mesh08 II has a slim and sleek design that feels great in the hand. 

I have tested 100’s of disposables in my time and stand firmly on the fact that this form factor is far better to use than the box style (like the EB Designs BC5000).

It’s just a more natural design that blends better into the grip of your palm and is easier to slot into your pockets. 

The OVNS Mesh08 II makes things even more comfortable with its gently rounded edges and corners. So no sharp corners are digging into your palm.

The exterior design of the body is also great. It utilizes a matte finish that provides a smooth feel and a subtle speckled pattern for visual styling.

I have to commend OVNS for the fact that the entire body is made from recycled plastic, making it easier to recycle when the time comes. Something which all manufacturers need to put more focus on.

Stepping back to the design of the body. The matte finish is smooth, but there’s a slight texture to it to give you enough grip. It is also very fingerprint-resistant.

The device is also relatively lightweight at 50g, considering the battery size it houses.

OVNS has done a good job of matching the flavor profiles with the vibrant but classy colors of the device.

A quick word for the mouthpiece, which is also ergonomic and comfortable. Sadly, this is a glossy plastic, but that does make it comfortable on the lips.

The bottom of the device features a unique disc-shaped airflow control that smoothly rotates to adjust airflow. It has multiple airflow holes, so you can customize the draw.

Its design is easy to use, and its location keeps the whole device looking elegant and clean.

Inside the airflow control is the LED battery life indicator. It lights up each time you take a puff, which is handy for monitoring the remaining battery. 

There is no USB-C charge port as the Mesh08 II. It’s a back-to-basics disposable, meaning you just use it until it’s depleted, then dispose of the entire device. 

It has an 1150mAh battery and is prefilled with 8ml juice capacity. So it’s whichever runs out first.

The Mesh08 II does a good job of not leaking, even when left on its side. There have also been no signs of spit back or gurgling when in use. 

Overall, the OVNS Mesh08 II build quality is great, with no creaks or weak points. They have proven to be extremely durable, withstanding drops and daily use with no issues.

Performance

The OVNS Mesh08 II disposables deliver an excellent and consistent vape.

The mesh coils do a great job of delivering a punchy and flavorful vape right from the inhale.

OVNS has done a great job with the range of flavors. There’s barely a weak one among them. 

The flavors like Lush Ice, Rose Lychee Melon, and Apple Peach were particular standouts that I couldn’t put down.

They have also managed to get the perfect balance of sweetness and cooling without either being too overpowering. Which makes them stand out from others on the market.

The flavor consistency also impressed me. Even through the last draws, the taste remained on point and avoided muting or fading. 

The vapor production is also excellent. Every draw provides big, thick clouds when the airflow is left open. 

Even with the airflow closed, the vapor is dense and warm. 

Speaking of airflow, the adjustable control is possibly one of the best I’ve used on a disposable.

It’s incredibly easy to adjust and gives you real granular control over the draw.

Fully open, it’s a restrictive direct-to-lung draw. 

But if you close the holes, it’s a supremely tight mouth-to-lung draw with a more substantial throat hit.

The adjustable airflow makes this an incredibly versatile disposable and one of the very few that can cater to both MTL and DL (restrictive) vaping.

The draw activation worked flawlessly every time during testing. It fired instantly with every puff without ever misfiring in my pocket. 

While testing, I encountered zero leaks, spit back, or gurgling even when laid on its side. 

The large 1150 mAh battery lasts through the entire 8mL of e-juice for the advertised 2500 puffs. 

Overall, the impressive battery life, adjustable airflow, and consistent flavor production put the performance of the OVNS Mesh08 II ahead of most disposables of this style that I’ve tested.

Verdict

The OVNS Mesh08 II is an impressive and versatile disposable vape option. 

It might lack some of the new features we’ve seen in disposables, like screens with battery & juice gauges, and it isn’t even rechargeable.

However, that makes it an incredibly easy-to-use disposable. Suited to those who don’t want to faff with recharging their device. 

Plus, the Mesh08 II really delivers where it counts, with excellent flavor production. 

It delivers fantastic flavor from the very first inhale to the last, with an excellent flavor range.

The one feature it does have of adjustable airflow is possibly the best I’ve used in a disposable. It really can deliver both a tight MTL and a restrictive DL draw.

Thanks to that big internal battery and 8ml of prefilled juice, it also delivers on the puff count, easily reaching the advertised 2500 puffs.

Overall, the OVNS Mesh08 II is an excellent choice for those looking for an easy-to-use disposable with a comfortable form factor, excellent flavor delivery, and versatile airflow.
