OXBAR, an offshoot of OXVA, is making a name for itself in the disposable vape market. 

Their latest product, the G8000, aims to utilize their commitment to quality and performance to create one of the best high-capacity disposables.

The G8000 is a beast of a disposable. It comes pre-loaded with 16ml of e-liquid and is powered by a rechargeable 650mAh battery. This combination promises up to 8000 puffs!

The G8000 is available in nicotine strengths of 20mg/ml and 50mg/ml, catering to a wide range of vapers. The flavor options are diverse, with seventeen flavors ranging from fruity to icy, and even a tobacco option for those who prefer a classic taste (complete list below).

The Bottom Line

The OXBAR G8000 is a stylishly designed high-capacity disposable. Even though it’s on the large side, it’s comfortable to use and delivers an excellent vape experience. The flavors are refined but punchy without being overly sweet. The G800 provides a smooth and satisfying draw and is pretty flawless in its performance – recommended.

Design and Build

The G8000’s design is a visual delight. It features a transparent outer shell and a colorful inner shell with a wavy texture. This combination gives the device a unique 3D look, similar to the Lost Vape Orion Bar 7500 we reviewed earlier this year, but in a more refined and sophisticated design. 

The G8000 packs a lot into those transparent shells, which is excellent, but it does make it feel more like a pod vape than a disposable. Especially when you hold it in your hand with its 72g of weight, which is not light for a disposable. 

The device’s dimensions are 85.6mm tall, 49.7mm wide, and 25.4mm thick, making it larger than some pod vapes out there. However, all that being said, it’s still extremely comfortable to handle, especially for a device that can deliver 8000 puffs.

Despite being a disposable, the G8000 doesn’t compromise on build quality. It feels sturdy and well-made, almost like a refillable pod vape. It’s a shame that such a well-crafted device has to be discarded once the e-liquid runs out. But that’s the nature of disposables, and the G8000 makes the most of its lifespan with its high puff count and rechargeable battery.

The device’s branding is nicely incorporated into the design. It has a complimentary vibrant color to stand out from the main body color of the device. The flavor printed in raised lettering on the clear shell makes it easy to read. However, I did notice there’s nothing that denotes the nicotine strength actually on the device.

The base section of the G8000 is a solid white matte plastic which contrasts nicely with the rest of the device. You find the USB-C port for recharging at the bottom of the base.

One of the standout features of the G8000 is the inclusion of a lanyard. This is a rare feature in disposable vapes and adds a touch of convenience and style to the device. The lanyard is made of a nice fabric and can be easily attached to the device, making it easy to carry around.

The mouthpiece of the G8000 is seamlessly integrated into the clear shell. It’s ergonomically designed with a slight concave slope that fits comfortably between the lips. This attention to detail in the design extends to the overall user experience, making the G8000 a joy to use.

Flavor Profiles

The G8000 offers seventeen flavors, including a variety of fruit, ice, and even a tobacco option. I had the opportunity to try three of these flavors:

Mad Blue

A very good Blueberry that actually feels more like a Blue Raspberry or Blue Razz Ice to me. It’s still very authentic in its flavoring and has just the right amount of sweetness to it without it becoming overpowering or sickly. However, it leans a little too much on the cooling for my liking, but it is incredibly refreshing.

Watermelon Slushie

Delightfully refreshing. I think this is the first Watermelon Slushie I’ve tried, they are typically Strawberry or Blueberry Slushie, and it’s an absolute treat. You get the sharp sweetness of a crisp and clean Watermelon with a lovely icy slushie effect. Surprisingly this one is good with the cooling and is not too overpowering.

Sakura Grape

I’ve seen Sakura Grape before, perhaps in an Elf Bar range, and I’m not entirely sure what the difference is to a regular Grape flavor. I can tell you this is a nice rich purple Grape flavor with a lot of depth to it. It’s pretty distinctive without veering too far from a traditional grape-style vape. Again perhaps a little excessive on the cooling, I would’ve liked it toned back a bit. But If you love your Grape vapes, I’m sure you’ll love this.

Performance

OXBAR claims that the G8000’s 1.2Ω mesh coil provides 30% more performance and 25% more vapor production than a ‘normal device.’ While I can’t definitively confirm these claims, I can say that the G8000 delivers a satisfying amount of vapor and excellent flavor.

Each flavor I tried was distinct and well-crafted. The flavors were not overly sweet or artificial, a common issue with many disposable vapes. Instead, they offered a refined and balanced taste that was enjoyable to vape. 

It’s hard to determine whether this will be true for the full range, as I had only 3 flavors to test. But based on OXBAR’s previous line The FOX, I’m sure the rest will match up well with their profiles. 

There also seem to be some other very unique and intriguing flavors in this range, like ‘Avocado Nana’ and ‘Sea Salt Lemon’ that I’d love to try.

Of the three tested, I have to say the Watermelon Slushie was an absolute delight and something a little different from the norm. The other two were good but had similar flavor profiles to other ranges and just a touch too much cooling for my liking.

The draw of the G800 is a mouth-to-lung style that leans towards the looser side. However, it’s not as loose as some other disposables I’ve tried and is good enough to suffice tight MTL enthusiasts like myself.

The G8000’s performance is consistent and reliable. The draw activation works flawlessly every time, without any hesitation. I didn’t encounter any issues with leaking or malfunctioning during my time with the device. This level of reliability is a testament to OXBAR’s quality control and its commitment to delivering a top-notch vaping experience.

The G8000’s battery life is impressive, thanks to its 650mAh rechargeable battery. You can expect to vape for a couple of days on a full charge, and it’s relatively quick to top again. 

While I didn’t count the 8000 puffs that the device is advertised to deliver, I’m pretty sure it comes close. When you test so many disposables, you get a sense of how well they stack up, and the G8000 feels like it just keeps going and going!

This longevity, combined with reliable performance, ensures that you get the most out of each G8000 device.

Verdict

In my opinion, the OXBAR G8000 is a solid choice for anyone looking for a high-quality disposable vape. 

Its design, build quality, and performance are top-notch, and the wide range of flavors ensures there’s something for everyone.

While I only had the chance to try three flavors, I was impressed, especially with the Watermelon Slushie. They offer a refined flavor profile that’s tasty without being too overpowering.

The G8000’s high puff count, rechargeable battery, diverse flavor options, and elegant design make it a standout product in a congested disposable vape category. 

If you are in the market for a high-capacity disposable, the G8000 is an excellent option.
