SMOK I-Priv 230W Voice Control TC Kit Intro
Is voice control the future of vaping? I hope not… but iJoy and SMOK seem to think so. Following the iJoy Avenger 270 kit the I-PRIV is also fitted with a unique vape platform designed to free the hands by employing voice control functions. If this is a highly intelligent AI device then surely it will get fed-up with with the limited intellectual challenge of changing the LED lights and turning it on and off. Perhaps SMOK should make this is a starter kit and provide some form of giving up support?
What Is it?
The SMOK I-PRIV 230W TC Box Mod is an iron man style mod that encompasses a big bright TFT screen, a voice control system and is powered by 21700, 20700 and 18650 batteries. Power output is 1-230W and it comes equipped with the TFV12 Prince tank, which uses a strip coil and has an 8ml capacity. It also has the usual user modes VW, TC and Memory.
Who is it for?
Fans of Smok products that lean towards state of the art technology over practicality.

It feels that lately my writing has gone from one of vaping to that of science fiction… Just read this from the sales literature. The Smok I-PRIV 230W TC Box Mod is shaped like a warrior, full of muscles and can clearly hear you, respond and execute your commands… I-Priv mod has a strong body, which is fully covered with exoskeleton, giving the whole kit an unbreakable and charming look. Hold it in your hand and you can feel the super power from this warrior.
Do you need this device… No. Do you want it… possibly, if you like gimmicks and shiny objects. Does it have muscles… No. Is it unbreakable… I doubt it.
I’m no technophobe but this does seem like a pointless piece of kit. Voice control on a mod! Why? What is wrong with a normal button?
Unless of course you are visually impaired, but Smok don’t mention this and have instead provided a six pack for tactile use.
As a newbie sci-fi writer I can honestly say the advancement of human technology has really has gone down the tubes, coming out with pointless devices like this. It could be a great device as the rest of the mod is useful and functional, but it’s still just a gimmick device and for the privilege carries a hefty price tag.
Ok I-PRIV… order me some more coils and some of my favorite e-juice. Now that would be useful!
