Uwell has just released its first CALIBURN disposable.

The Caliburn Bar B6000 has the signature style of the Caliburn Koko series, compact and striking. It’s also referred to as the ‘CaliBARn’.

It features a 1.2Ω mesh coil, 600mAh battery, 12ml of juice, and can deliver up to 6000 puffs per bar.

The B6000 is rechargeable via USB-C. It also has power and e-liquid indicator lights.

The Uwell Caliburn B6000 is available in either 2% (20mg) or 5% (50mg) nic strength and comes in 18 flavors.

The Bottom Line

The Caliburn Bar B6000 is an extremely impressive disposable. It delivers an almost flawless vape experience in such a compact design. The flavor range is authentic and produced excellently by the 1.2Ω mesh coil. It doesn’t have adjustable airflow. So those looking for a tight MTL draw are best looking elsewhere. For everybody else, the ‘CaliBARn’ is highly recommended.

Design & Build Quality

The Caliburn Bar B6000 has exactly the styling and build quality I’d expect from a company like UWELL.

The B6000 looks remarkably similar to the latest Caliburn Koko, with the same form factor and precisely the same side panels.

Where it does differ is the main body, which is made from translucent plastic. This makes it very lightweight and pocket-friendly for a disposable.

This is further helped by the sheer compact size of the B6000. I’m amazed that Uwell managed to fit 12ml of juice and a 600mAh battery in there.

I’d say it’s probably the most compact and lightweight disposable I’ve seen with this capacity.

The translucent frame of the B6000 is color-tinted to showcase the flavor profile within. Each color looks pretty striking without being too flashy.

The mouthpiece also follows suit, tinted in the same color. It’s a nice, smooth mouthpiece, as you’d expect from a Caliburn device.

Uwell has opted to keep the branding front and center on the side panels. So, the flavor profile is printed along the side edge, which is fine.

On the base of the B6000, you will see the USB-C port for charging and the airflow hole. Sadly, there’s no adjustable airflow – more on this later.

On the top of the device is a plastic lanyard loop, just like on the Koko.

Uwell has implemented a dual-light system in the B6000. There is an LED indicator for the battery and another for the e-liquid level.

You can see the symbols on the device’s front panel: Liquid on the left and Power on the right. The LED lights sit beneath the plastic and shine through.

When you take a puff, the e-liquid indicator will light up to show you the remaining juice status.

Then, when you stop, the power indicator will flash for about a second to show the battery status. (I wish it flashed a little longer).

Both lights have 3 steps designated by the following colors:

Indicator light

Green = 60-100%

Blue = 30-60%

Red = 0-30%

The percentages are the same for either the E-liquid or Power.

The power indicator will also flash the appropriate color when charging to show the charge status.

While the gauges are not as intuitive as a screen, it’s still a handy addition.

Overall, I’m thrilled with the design and build quality of the Caliburn B6000. It does a great job of retaining that Caliburn styling.

It’s fun, without being too loud, and is incredibly compact and pocketable.

Performance

I’m glad to report that Uwell has taken all of its experience creating excellent pod vapes and coils and implemented them in the Caliburn Bar.

The 1.2Ω mesh coil delivers excellent flavor and heats up instantly. In fact, I think it might be one of the fastest-firing disposables I’ve used.

The auto-draw trigger is also pretty flawless, as you’d expect from Uwell.

Fortunately, we got to test the 15 different flavors from the range. They were all very impressive to my critical palate.

A few of them lean heavily on the cooling for my liking, like the Mixed Berries and Cool Mint.

However, the rest are perfectly balanced, and all of them taste very authentic.

The Pineapple Mango was a real treat and probably one of the most natural I’ve tasted. The Peach Watermelon was also fantastically juicy and mouthwatering.

The Lemon Mint was also a refreshing delight and something I’d never tried before.

One slight drawback of the B6000 is the lack of adjustable airflow.

It delivers a medium to loose MTL draw. It’s very much akin to that of the Caliburn A series.

I would’ve preferred a slightly tighter draw, but I soon got used to it during my testing.

The juice and battery indicators work well and seem to line up with what’s remaining in the device.

Although the way the lights flash does mean it’s not such a stealthy device. Unless you fully cover both lights with your palm.

It’s also worth noting that the vape is consistent throughout, with no drop in performance, even when the battery gets low. 

We measured the capacity of the internal battery, which only came out to around 500mAh. It’s a little shy of the advertised capacity. But battery life was still good on the device.

The charge rate measured an average of 0.5A, taking approximately 60 minutes to fully charge. Which is respectable for a disposable.

Through my testing, we got incredibly close to the 6000 puff count. Which is pretty impressive for such a compact device.

Overall, I love the pocketability and design of the B6000. However, I’m equally impressed by the vape quality they deliver.

Verdict

The Caliburn Bar B6000 is definitely worthy of the Caliburn name.

Uwell has done a fantastic job with their first disposable. Taking everything they do well with their pod vapes and implementing it alongside some banging flavors.

The B6000 delivers excellent flavor and a super smooth (loose) MTL draw.

Another plus point is that it’s available in both 20 and 50mg – which makes me very happy.

While the battery and juice indicators are not as good as a designated display, they still work well. The only thing it’s lacking is adjustable airflow.

If you are looking for a super compact but high-capacity disposable, the B6000 is an excellent choice – highly recommended.
