Vaporesso Target Mini II Kit | Preview

If it wasn’t evident by the name the Vaporesso Target Mini II Kit is an upgrade from the original Target Mini.

The Target Mini was a kit that when first released, proved to be very popular, and one which quickly cemented Vaporesso as a quality brand in the industry.

There’s not too much of a change on the outside of the device, just a slightly tweaked design that’s more streamlined for 2019.

However, there are a few noteworthy upgrades to some critical components of the Target Mini.

The Target Mini II brings with it a larger 2000mAh battery, compared to the 1400mAh of the original, and it also supports 2A quick charge with the ability to fully charge in 60 minutes.

This is all possible thanks to the new OMNI 4.2 chipset which is built-in to the device. Vaporesso doesn’t go into detail whether the Target Mini II will support temp control and what other features the chipset will offer, but the OMNI boards are usually more the comprehensive with their features.

The larger battery capacity and upgraded board also mean the Target Mini II has a power output of 5-50W compared to the 40W max of the original.

There is an excellent 0.66in OLED screen to display all of your settings and battery status, with the mandatory mode button to make navigating the device as easy as possible.

The most significant change in the kit comes in the form of the included tank, instead of the old Guardian Tank included with the original, we now get the VM Tank 22

The original Target Mini kit included the Guardian Tank but this time the kit uses the VM Tank 22.

The VM Tank 22 has a 2ml capacity and utilizes the EUC coil heads, so it’s compatible with the existing range of coils. It also features the simple plugin method of inserting the coils.

The VM Tank 22 has adjustable airflow and is capable of delivering either an MTL or DTL vape. There are two coils included in the kit for this purpose:

• A 1-ohm EUC CCELL (ceramic material) coil, which is ideal for MTL vaping and is compatible with nic salts
• A 0.6-ohm EUC Meshed coil (wicked with Tea Fiber), which will target the DTL vapers.

The Vaporesso Target Mini II Kit is available in 5 colors – Silver, Black, Red, and Teal.

With the uprise in pocketable devices and pod mods, the Target Mini II could be an excellent alternative choice.

Afterall you’ll get a 2000mAh battery, a fully fledged sub-ohm/MTL tank and an excellent chipset with 2amp charging – enough to blow any pod mod out of the water.

It might be a slightly larger format, but I for one would much prefer to carry around an excellent kit from Vaporesso that has an OMNI board, an OLED screen and only requires replacement coils, compared to a pod mod with a low capacity battery and disposable pods.

Vapers looking for a small portable kit with plenty of features, and the ability to use as an MTL or DTL device. Will suit those that find pods mods a bit lacking.
