What is it?
The Aspire Rhea 200W Mod is the latest dual 18650 box mod from Aspire.
Aspire has been on a roll recently, having released the VROD Kit, Favostix, and the excellent Nautilus Prime X.
The Rhea 200W brings something different to the Aspire line-up. As you can tell by the name, it has a 200-watt output and is powered by two 18650 batteries. It also features 2A fast charging via USB Type-C.
However, the main marketing feature of the RHEA is its industrial design. Aspire claims it is ‘rugged yet refined’ and is fully shockproof.
Though it’s not all about the ruggedness.
The Zinc Alloy body is accented with Alacantara (a material often used in racing cars) grips. It has a more stylish design than some of its more industrial competition like the Geekvape Aegis or Vandy Vape Jackaroo.
The Rhea 200W also features a colorful 0.96in display with 5 different screen themes to choose from.
It utilizes Aspire’s ASP chipset, and along with having a variable wattage mode of 1-200W, there’s also Variable Voltage, Bypass, Temperature Control, TCR, and CPS modes. We’re not sure what the CPS mode actually does, but I’m sure Aspire will release more data on that soon.
As you can see, this is just a box mod release – there may be a kit version available, but at the moment, you just buy the standalone mod to use with your existing 510 connection tanks.
Currently, the Rhea 200W is being sold as a standalone device, not as part of a kit. But the 510 connection can handle up to a 28mm diameter tank, so it can be used with pretty much any atomizer on the market.
The Aspire Rhea 200W is currently available in 5 colors: Black Alcantara (Black Metal), Black Alcantara (Red Metal), Grey Denim, Granite Grey, and Retro Brown.

Our Vibe
Aspire is probably not the first brand that comes to mind when you think of rugged dual battery devices, so it’s good to see them make a move in this space.
By the looks of it, they have managed to make an incredibly stylish device, instead of just a large mod encased in thick rubber, like some others out there.
That’s not just down to the Alacantara leather grips, but more the design’s clean lines and somewhat compact form factor.
Whether the Rhea 200W can do anything to topple the likes of the Geekvape Aegis line, will really come down to final build quality and just how good it performs.
