Eleaf Amnis 2 Kit | Preview

The Eleaf Amnis 2 Kit is an updated version of the Amnis Kit released last year.

The original Amnis was a competent little starter kit, so what does the Amnis 2 bring with it.

Firstly, it has an internal 1100mAh battery, which can output a maximum of 23 watts. It also has adjustable power settings, and there are 4 in total; Low, Medium, High, and Max.

The power available for each setting will be dependant on the coil you have installed:

Below 1-ohm resistance coil:

• Low = 12W
• Medium = 15W
• High = 18W
• Max = 23W

Above 1-ohm resistance coil:

• Low = 3.2V
• Medium = 3.6V
• High = 4V
• Max = 4.6V

There is also a bypass mode available, which will direct output based on the battery charge. There’s also a USB-C charge port for fast charging.

The Amnis 2 has a designated power control button on the side of the device, with separate LED lights to indicate which setting you are on.

The fire button is found on the front of the device and is surrounded by its own LED indicator light, which will show your battery status by changing color.

The Amnis 2 mod comes paired with the new GTiO tank. The tank has a 1.8ml capacity, but can be changed to 3ml by using the included bubble glass.

The GTiO tank uses the following coils:

• GT-M – 0.6ohm mesh coil (included)
• GT 1.2ohm coil (included)
• GT-C 1.4ohm ceramic coil

The coils use a simple push and pull system to install them, so it should be easy to change.

The tank also has a slide-to-fill top cap which incorporates a childproof locking system, requiring a button to be pressed to release it.

The GTiO tank also has adjustable airflow with one cyclops style air hole on the side.

The Amnis 2 Kit will be available in 5 colors: Black, Green, Rainbow, Red and Silver.

Eleaf makes excellent starter kits, and I don’t see the Amnis 2 being a disappointment.

The new design is a lot more modern, and the increase in battery capacity, USB-C fast charging, and adjustable power settings are definitely welcome improvements.

The main determining factor of how good the Amnis 2 will be as a starter kit, comes down to the new GTiO tank and coils.

It seems Eleaf has it covered with a range of coils, childproof top-fill, and easy coil installation. Though we will have to wait to see just how well those coils perform compared to other starter kits.

New vapers or smokers looking to transition into vaping, it’s an easy to use starter kit that will suit mouth-to-lung vapers.
