Innokin Ares MTL RTA Intro
Recently we have seen a lot of collaborations with YouTube reviewers and manufacturers, and we have also seen some great MTL RTA’s; from the Digiflavor Siren 2, the Vandy Vape Berserker to the Cthulhu Hastur MTL. So why would one of the most prominent reviewers in vaping join up with Innokin to release a MTL tank?
It’s no secret that Phil Bursado prefers a MTL style vape, so it made sense to join powers with his friend and fellow reviewer Dimitris Agrafiotis, and a company that has been a pioneer in the industry and is known for making great starter kits.
It seems the perfect marriage, and just like his reviews, it appears Phil may have covered all the bases with this one.

A Platform into vaping
The Ares MTL atomizer is a collaboration between Phil Busardo, Dimitris Agrafiotis, and Innokin. It is going to be released as part of Innokin’s ‘Platform’ series, which it seems is geared towards helping provide a better platform into vaping.
They state the goal was to create an affordable mouth-to-lung rebuildable tank atomizer (RTA) that was easy to work with, build on, refill and of course provide an outstanding vape for the MTL crowd.
The Ares is a 24 mm RTA and will be available in both silver and black, with a 4ml and 2ml TPD compliant version.
It features a top side filling system, a drop-in coil sky build deck, a liquid barrier to help prevent leaking, and a user adjustable airflow with numerous settings. All designed with MTL style of vaping in mind giving the ability to adjust the airflow from a tight cigarette style draw to a more open draw.
The Ares has a distinctively rounded bell chamber, which is not just designed for looks but to maximize flavor, and to reduce air turbulence for a smooth, quiet, satisfying vape.
The Ares MTL comes with one of the most comprehensive (and labeled) spare parts of any RTA on the market. It includes a spare glass tank section, two mouthpieces, spare build screws, two coil building tools (Phil’s is much better than Dimitris’), prebuilt coils, loose wire, multi-colored o-rings, and natural organic Japanese cotton for wicking.
It looks like Innokin, Dimitris and Phil have done a great job putting this one together. We can’t wait to get our hands on one for a review and see if it can top the already impressive MTL tanks on the market.
