Innokin Platform Zlide Tank | Preview

The Innokin Platform Zlide Tank is an updated version of one of the best MTL tanks on the market, the Zenith MTL tank.

Innokin have had a long-term partnership in their Platform series with vape reviewers Phil Busardo and Dimitris Agrafiotis. These two guys know MTL vaping and have helped produce not only the original Zenith tank but also the Aries RTA.

So why the update and new name?

It seems Innokin are marketing the Zlide tank as a more “cost effective” version of the Zenith with a couple of improvements.

Firstly there’s an improved filling method with a slide top fill cap that can also be locked for child safety and preventing accidental spills.

It comes with two drip tips, and you also have the ability to use your own.

The Zlide also goes without the juice control function of the Zenith, where you could close of the juice flow to easily change coils. This was a great feature, but one that a lot of other tanks did not have, so removing it may have helped to keep costs down.

Another welcome improvement, and one that a few did not like about the Zenith, is the ability to replace the glass tank section.

The Zlide will also be compatible with the whole Zenith range of coils and also comes with the new PLEX3D coils. These are 3D mesh style coils that have extra ridges in them to provide a greater surface area to vaporize eliquid, which ultimately leads to more flavor.

At present, there are 4 color options for the Zlide tank – GunMetal, Blue, Stainless Steel, and Black.

Mouth-to-lung vapers that are not into rebuilding coils, and want a cost-effective stock coil MTL tank that produces excellent flavor.

We’ve all been huge fans of the Zenith tank for MTL vaping. There just doesn’t seem to be too many competitors to Innokin when it comes to MTL.

The Zenith is still my go-to tank, and I’m a huge fan of the stock coils, and can’t wait to try out the new PLEX3D coils.

Is the Zlide a worthy upgrade if you have the Zenith already? I don’t think so.

There are no drastic changes here with the Zlide tank, but then if it ain’t broke then don’t fix it.

However, the few improvements they have made, certainly seem justified and overall the Zlide looks a more modern tank.

If you don’t have the Zenith, then it looks like the Zlide will be an excellent affordable tank option, that I’m sure will deliver parallel performance.

Innokin is dominating the MTL scene at the moment, and for good reason. I really like the fact they have been conscious about simplifying MTL vaping and opening it up to more users.
