Design & Style

It’s been a few years since the PCKT ONE was released, and when I first saw the PCKT TWO in pictures, it didn’t look like much of an upgrade over that previous design.

However, as soon as I got my hand on the Two, I could really tell and more so feel the difference. The PCKT TWO is far more ergonomic, with lovely smooth edges compared to the boxy, somewhat sharp sides of the PCKT One.

It also has that excellent, brushed matte finish which feels a little more grippy than that of the original.

However, it still measures and weighs the same at 71 x 35 x 16mm, and 60 grams. This weight and size do not make it feel too bulky (but some may prefer a slimmer profile). It actually gives it that premium, sturdy feel. You feel like you are holding a very high-end vape device.

The next significant upgrade to the PCKT Two over its predecessor is the upgrade in charging port from micro-USB to USB-C. However, everything else from the exterior design is similar to the original.

The TWO also comes with the same gold magnetic adapters to accommodate different size carts (you’ll be able to fit cartridges up to 11.75mm in diameter). Which still work great and are pleasant to use.

However, PCKT did make changes to the TWO with regard to voltage configuration. They gave it the same range as the VRTCL, from 2.43V to 3.84V.

There are other more modern upgrades in the internals of the TWO. For example, It now has dual-activated firing. So you can either use the fire button to fire the device manually or simply start puffing, and the draw-activation sensor will kick in, which is a great feature to have on a 510 battery.

Sadly this does come at the cost of losing the pre-heat function seen in the previous model.

The final new features are the 5 levels of haptic feedback and LED brightness, which are both adjustable.

Overall I love the look and feel of the PCKT Two. Like all PCKT products, it feels premium and is a joy to hold in your hand.

PCKT Two 510 Battery Fire Button

Features

The TWO utilizes PCKT’s new RCKT 2 chip and is powered by an inbuilt 660mAh battery.

The TWO features five voltage settings ranging from 2.45 to 3.84 volts (see the full range below).

There is only one button on the device, which acts as the power and fire button. However, it also comes with draw activation, so it can be fired simply by inhaling.

The PCKT Two also features haptic feedback with 5 different strength levels.

The TWO supports USB-C charging and passthrough. It will charge from flat in approximately 45 minutes.

Operating the PCKT TWO is extremely straightforward. Here’s a quick guide:

  • Power ON/OFF: 5 clicks of fire button.
  • Manual fire: Press & hold the fire button.
  • Change voltage output mode: Two clicks of fire button. Then each subsequent click will cycle through each power mode. Long press to confirm your selection.
  • Check battery life: One quick click of fire button.
  • Check voltage output level: Press & hold the fire button until it vibrates.
  • Adjust LED brightness: 3 clicks of fire button. Then each subsequent click will cycle through the 5 brightness levels. Long press to confirm your selection.
  • Adjust haptic feedback strength: 4 clicks of fire button. Then each subsequent click will cycle through the 5 haptic feedback levels. Long press to confirm your selection.

Battery Status Levels:

  • Red: 0-25% battery
  • Yellow: 26-50% battery
  • Green: 51-100% battery

Voltage Level Settings:

  • Light Blue: 2.43V
  • Dark Blue: 2.73V
  • Orange: 3.09V
  • Red: 3.54V

To maintain the best performance of the device (as with all 510 thread batteries), clean the contacts and the chamber periodically.

Performance

The PCKT TWO performs like all other PCKT devices, which is excellent.

The airflow was super smooth with every cart I tested, and the voltage output felt very accurate.

You must be aware that you will face compatibility issues with wider carts. The TWO is best with carts less than 11.75mm in diameter.

I mainly used the TWO on the 2.43V, and 2.73V settings as that seemed to get the best out of my carts without being too overpowering. However, the difference was apparent when I ventured up in the voltage levels. So you should have no problems there if you like a hotter vape.

It’s a little disappointing there is no Pre-heat function, but I’m a big fan of the auto-draw function and would gladly take this over pre-heat. I’m glad to report it works well on the PCKT Two; I’ve tried others that have been a bit lacking in the past.

The TWO doesn’t have the easiest interface and could be a little confusing to some beginners, as it only has one button operation. But once you remember the button combinations, it’s straightforward enough.

The haptic feedback really adds to the whole sensory experience and gives you a good indication of when the device is firing. You could also use the TWO ion stealth mode with both the haptic motor and LED brightness turned down.

The battery life of the TWO was also good. The 660mAh lasted me about a week of use. Obviously, oil carts have high resistances, and I mainly used lower voltage settings. However, I can’t see anyone complaining about the lifespan you’ll get from the internal battery.

The charging was also relatively fast, taking around 45 minutes to recharge fully. The fact that it has USB-C immediately relegated my PCKT One Plus.

Overall I’ve loved my time using the PCKT Two. It has excellent power output (which is adjustable) and looks and feels fantastic.

Verdict

The PCKT TWO has been a long time coming, and while it doesn’t feature anything out of the ordinary.

Nevertheless, it is a well-deserved incremental upgrade.

Where the PCKT Two really impresses is with the excellent, premium build quality and ergonomic design.

The 5 voltage levels work really well, and it delivered a smooth and satisfying draw with every cart I tested.

Some may find it on the bulkier and heavier side of things. But the 660mAh battery does a great job, and I still think it’s perfectly compact and pocket-friendly.

If you are in the market for a premium oil or 510 battery, you’ll struggle to find something more impressive than the PCKT Two.
