The Smok Novo 4 Mini Kit is the latest addition to the Novo line of devices.
We have seen many Novo devices from Smok including the Novo, Novo 2 & 2S, Novo X and Novo 4.
As you could probably work out from the name, the Novo 4 mini kit is a smaller version of the Novo 4.
Obviously due to the decrease in size there are a few differences with the Novo 4.
The Novo Mini Kit only has an LED indicator and no screen. However it does seem to have a larger battery at 900mAh, compared to the Novo 4’s 800mAh.
The Novo 4 also had variable wattage, but it’s unclear whether the Novo 4 Mini will have the same feature to adjust in increments. Obviously it does not have a screen, so we would assume it has some set power outputs.
Smok do highlight that the Novo 4 Mini has a power range of 6-25W, so we would assume it will have at least three different power settings, or possibly it will set the power output depending on the resistance of the coil attached.
The 900mAh internal battery on the Novo 4 Mini can be charged via USB Type-C at a rate of 0.7A.
The pods that come with it are refillable and have a 2ml capacity and side fill port.
There is also adjustable airflow with the front inlet ring, just like the Novo 4.
The Novo 4 Mini will utilize the LP1 coil range, and comes with two 0.9Ω Meshed coils in the kit.
As per usual Smok is not lacking when it comes to color options, and there are two design ranges to choose from.
The Novo 4 mini regular series comes in the following 5 colors: White Cobra, Black Cobra, Fluid Black Grey, Fluid 7-Colour, and Red Stabilising Wood.
The Nono 4 mini prismatic series comes in the following 5 colors: Silver Black Cobra, Silver Red Cobra, Green Blue Cobra, Rasta Green Cobra, and 7-Colour Cobra.

Our Vibe
Another day and another pod system from Smok.
It’s a little hard to get excited about this one, as we’ve seen so many similar pod devices and it is just a shrunk down version of the Novo 4.
However it does manage to have a larger battery capacity even though it is a smaller device. So it might suit those that don’t think a screen and full variable wattage on the pod mod is essential.
As for the performance, I’m pretty sure it will be in line with the Novo 4 as it uses the same coils and also has adjustable airflow.
That’s not a bad thing, as the Novo 4 from my recollection was a more than competent little device.
